I think if they bring in a Pokémon Trainer as a character, it should be Gold instead of Red this time, with the Johto Starters instead of Kanto.

Well, based on our current knowledge, Villager is going to be pretty high-tiered. He's pretty freakin' cool, and is so original.
But his Final Smash? It's gonna be what makes or breaks him. What will he do? Will he gain the majestic "Golden Tool" set? Will he have Kap'n slam his taxi into somebody. Or will he bash people upside the head with a net until the leave the stage? What is going to be his majestic and awesome Final Smash/

Pikmin is one of the newer IPs in Smash and I'm glad it's returning. I'd like to see more newer characters and less double dips.

No Story Mode for Smash Bros

This is the best news I've heard about Smash all year.

I agree that it's a good thing, but this has got to be the weakest excuse for not including something I have ever seen. "waaaaaaaa spoilers waaaaaaaa".

I'm sorry, that's just being lazy. They're not going to make a story mode for this game because they didn't put the effort into keeping it under wraps last time around. There's only one word to describe what this is:

Childish.

I'm happy that we actually have to WORK to unlock characters now. So much potential there.

Using my vast experience of Mega Man games, having played only the first Battle Network, my friends and I were wondering if Mega Man would get alternate costumes for Mega Man X, MegaMan.EXE, or Zero.

I hope not. I personally wanna see classic MM and only classic MM alts. I'm sure they're gonna do a box art Mega Man color scheme, Maybe Wood Man and Metal Man. I reeeeeeeeeally want them to put a Proto Man color scheme or just a Proto Man costume. Proto Man is definitely my favorite character in the franchise.
