So, back in 2001, a friend told me about MortalKombatOnline.com.

Lets put it this way, since 2001, I've been coming here like crazy.

I didn't feel the need to talk to anyone, really, so I remained a lurker. Then, in 2010 which saw the first trailer for MK9, and REBIRTH, I decided I would sign up.

Let me just say, I should have done this sooner.

I come here more than once a day, that's for sure. Most people here, the well known ones, are smart and actually think about MK as much as I do.

Coming on here and seeing people like Razor, for all the years I had been obssesed with everything MK, I knew every bit of info there was to know, and people would always say "I need a life", but Razor is like a walking MK bible, and I look at him and think "Damn, I'm not the only one?"

People like Spider, icebaby, Jaded-Raven, queve, Vash, J-spit, ProfessorAhnka, all these people with different personalities all on this site to talk about MK, and other things.

To me, this is the peak of social interaction, a whole bunch of fans coming to one place to talk about what they love.

Whether it's in person, online, it doesn't matter, people talking about what they like.


It has also intoduced me to some really cool people, J-spit (who has been one of the only people I actually enjoy playing with Online.) NiteOwl (who draws some kick ass pictures and has the same tastes in Movies as I do.) TheCypher (whether you think I know you or not, I have to mention you because you do some kick ass sigs, including the one I have now).

Not to mention, m0s3pH, who has been extremely helpful to both me and J-spit, (Thanks for letting us be part of you MKOFK team, I love the job.) and somehow manages to find the funniest qwop pictures.

To me, you guys, all of you guys, are a part of the MK series, and have been since 2001. You may not be part of NRS, but you're number 2 on my list when it comes to MK.

Most other sites I've ever been to have always had shitty mods, too, but the whole MKO staff seems to be comprised of nice people.

Sure, I've had my ups and downs (We cool yet, Tony?) but I really hope you guys enjoy this site and all of its flaws and perfections.

MK plays a big part in what I do (make films) because I have always played it for the story, so If I ever catch a break and make a nice big budget movie, expect your name in the credits.
