For the record...

MKMaster's ban had nothing to do with spying. Anyone who was on channel at the time could tell you that. (Also, if he's the one I supposedly banned for evading his ban when it had expired... wrong. His ban wasn't due to expire for another week or so when he did it.)

Also, if "Dimebag_Dion" is who I think it is... while he is superficially correct in what he said, he also left a LOT of information out. At the time, he was arguing on channel that the US needs to get tougher on terrorists, that the Constitution was limiting us and we should throw it out to get tough on our enemies, that due process wasn't appropriate, etc. So, I decided to teach him a lesson on why that might be a bad thing. I accused him of being a TMK spy (because at the time, he was loudly proclaiming how much he hated TMK because he had been banned for being a "MK Online spy"), kicked and banned him... and when he PM'ed me to complain, I then told him I didn't have to show him the evidence, and that there was no basis for an appeal of my decision. After a minute or two, I removed the ban, invited him back in, publicly stated that I didn't think he was a real "TMK spy", and apologized for kicking/banning him. I then explained that what I did was an example of what could happen to an innocent person under the system he was advocating. In other words, the context here is kind of important.

In any event, what's done is done. To my knowledge, we have never kicked anyone out who's been a "TMK spy". For that matter, we've never really cared. At this point, I think the best thing we should do right now is just agree to disagree, and walk away. Neither side is convincing the other, and there's no point continuing this discussion when all it's going to do is cause more friction. I'll leave this open for the time being, however.

Quit spamming the thread. Few of you've made it clear how you felt about the thread. Either contribute or don't bother. We'll decide the time to close it when we need to.

Chris this thread is full of spam and if you're guiding by the forum rules this thread should've been clkosed years ago.

And besides, arguing is fun.

Yea I guess things like "*raises head....laughs*" is really contributing to this thread huh?

It's rediculous to see the people in charge acting like little kids. Put him in his place or admit you're wrong and be done with it. I'll continue to post because it appears my posts (and all others who aren't 'contributing') are making as big a difference in this matter as yours and his (ie - nothing).

Eh, this post will be the last one and the thread closed because it is getting out of hand. After carefully reviewing each post, I have to conclude the following:

• The mods were correct to place the ban on TMK, and even though they've unbanned him on many occasions, he's been banned and re-banned, each one deserved. I'm saying this depsite TMK being my friend.
  
• TMK himself can't let things go, and even though he says he hates things bring "brought back from the past", he's done it himself on this thread.
  
• This thread has been hijacked from its original goal and multiple people have been complaining to get it closed, you guys are right, it's going nowhere fast.
  
• Despite the fact that the mods were correct to ban him, it's almost impossible for them to justify what happened without turning it into a public argument. The regular MKO users deserve better than to be subjected to this.
  
• Total-MK, what you've turned the original post into is a thread that serves no purpose other than to irritate, harass, and annoy the mods of this site. This is NOT allowed here. Despite all your talk about being treated unfairly, you've gotten away with more crap than anyone else on the forum. (Your friend MKMaster even admitted this.) Not this time. I can't sit here and watch this eat away at you, watching you in your own stubborness let this ruin your life, and try to take down everyone else with you in the process.
  
• What I do now, I do for you, Total-MK, for that very reason. For the other mods of the site because you know this pointless crap is taking way too much of your time, and you have more important things to do. For the users of this site, who just want to come here and post and have a decent forum to post to, to come "home" to, and that home is being ruined by hijacked threads like this. I can think of no one who won't benefit from this.
