Ok I just read the whole thread and I got to admit pretty much all X-Men Characters would win over MK characters. Another thing I have to add... nothing seems more boring then the X-Men comics... having characters with no weaknesses, being able to control the universe, time itself or w/e the fuck they do. Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter is a better match up but already has been done Im guessing.

I like seeing/reading stuff about characters that actually CAN be defeated. I mean the way you're talking its like DBZ vs X-Men and X-men would win ( and I think we can all agree DBZ is over-exagerrated with powers ). What Im trying to get at, theres nothing EASIER then to create a character that has NO flaws, or no weaknesses exploitable in battle. See Ill create my own right now.

Controls every element / is made of every element / shits out gold and silver / doesnt need to breath / immune to everything physical and ethereal in this univers/ can control everything / possesses telekenetic powers / when on verge of death he can reassemble himself / regnereates at SUPER human speeds / IF somehow his body was destroyed he reborns into a more poweful being.

Was that so hard? No... now make a character with a limited power, duke it out with someone who also has a limited power and can both actually die... thats an intense battle which will captivate our interest. But put up a Superhuman God like being vs Mortal Fighters much stronger then the average human being.... wheres the excitement?

Not only the fact that X-Men has a comic book thats been going on forever ( and we all know that series that drag on for too long gets rediculous power-wise (Dragon Ball / X-Men / Spiderman/ Superman) w/e the fuck there is out there ). Mortal Kombat is but a mere game... now put up the GAME X-Men characters vs the GAME Mortal Kombat characters and we got a fair fight. But dont compare an on going OVER done series to a game and a low budget martial arts movie. ( Maybe its not low budget but you get the point ).

I know this is just for fun and I think its always cool seeing these this vs this threads cuz it always comes down to who likes which series most ( like MKF for an example that tried to put up a fight in an already LOSING battle ) but I give em props... because if everyone would stick to only facts.. this thread would of been very boring... because everyone would agree that X-Men wins. Now, I HATE X-men and ANY other comics/movies/shows/anime whatever that have OVERLY exxagerated Superhuman characters... like Pheonix PWNS all and shit.. which to me sounds like the most boring thing.. I mean if thats the case.. then just send her out vs the bad guys and kill em, the end... and theres probably this HUGE "logical" reason why she cant but you get the point...

Now use the game characters who have a set of moves and LIMITED abilities.. and we got an interesting fight... but compare GAME characters ( which are obviously LIMITED by technology ) vs Fictional Comic Book characters where there is NO limit in a humans imagination to make an OVERpowered character... I think we can agree that this is a lost battle no matter HOW you look at it. Now you can all disagree or agree w//e you please and we all know this thread isnt the answer to the meaning of life.. but its much more enjoyable where you can argue who would win when theres actually a 50/50 ISH chance one or the other could win.

Anyways thats my two cents, take it or leave it.
P.S. Since I dont know what Magma can do or know NOTHING of him.. Ill vote for him for the simple reason that he comes from X-Men and all X-Men characters pwn MK characters except for Raiden/Shinook/Elder Gods that can hold up a fight vs a few X-Men characters.

Well, since this post provokes^^......I wanna make a few proposals for battles.
This shoould also negate any doubt by ANYONE about me being bias either way. I think these kinds of battles will proove at least worthy of consideration based on powers, abilities and what we all like to see from some of our favorite MK characters.

These are all unofficial within this thread because they haven't been approved by PrtgStevo88 but, here goes a couple battles, me and my cousin "Angel" were just talking about off the top of my head.....

Now, please do not take this like i'm trying to "take over" your thread. These are simply proposals with a visual aid. I may post them from time to time. Simply to spark more side conversations about possible battle match-ups.

I'll say again because my earlier post hasn't been answered yet, I don't think there is any reason for me to start another thread about this, so I'll put everything related in here. Is that fine with you///you all??

I think PrtgStevo88 has been doing a pretty good job so far, and I think he should have total control of the fights like every other game thread...as soon as it becomes "choose ur own adventure" these threads fall appart
However, we can make suggestions, for example, make character descriptions more precise.. like MKD noob or MKT noob, since they have different sets of powers, and saying Pre-phoenix jean, or Post-rejuvenation magneto, or Rogue with Mrs. Marvel's powers... that way the fights become more clear, and easier to eaven out

Yea, I agree totally with what you're sayin' Kam-. All I propose is creative assistance from us who are voting.

I don't wanna take the control from PrtgStevo88 at all. In fact, under his judgement, becasue this is his thread and idea in the first place, I would just at least like to be considered as one on a rotating list of people to choose a battle from time to time.

I'm just saying that we may notice something that the one person PrtgStevo88 is doesn't notice once in a while, and we might want a chance to officially ellect that battle as one to be voted on. (i.e. I wanna particapate more than just voting on some of the battles PrtgStevo88 chooses for us. That takes nothing from the battles he chooses at all, because I like them. But I have ideas too, and I want to have them voted on as well. i.e. just a proposal.)

To capitalize on such a thing could make some of the latest battles more....

I think it might also give us a chance to regenerate already mentioned characters from time to time. With-- limitation monitored by none other than PrtgStevo88. You see, PrtgStevo88 would deem it a resaonable battle or a considerable return of a character based on the battle and how much time the character has been away, but we could at least have it considered. Maybe every so many days or something.

^^ that would be much better. But I dont really care who wins, I just think its always more enjoyable when we have decent opponents versus each other. I mean, if you're gonna put someone vs a Telekenetic warrior dont pin him up vs a 100% melee kind, or he will get his ass handed to him. But like I said, the way you guys talk about X-Men makes most of the characters on here so exagerrated I dont even see how a "normal" mutant can get by in that comic against the bunch of super ultra powerful ones. The only thing I can give for them kinda comics is the artwork.. which is always the shit. Beast vs Moloch I see potential. But I dont know what Beast does, all Ive seen were the TV series and he didnt look like much there. Now he can probably control half the stars and planets? jk

Anyways dont take it too seriously, I dont care about the fights much because deep down Ill always vote for MK even though its a losing battle.

Alright, sorry about the late update. I've been working alot lately. But anyways, ThePredator151, you came up with many valid points and good ideas. I will take those ideas into consideration. To tell you the truth, running a tournament by myself isnt the easiest thing (or so I noticed in my previous tournament, Tekken vS Mortal Kombat). Maybe having atleast one person giving me a hand in the tournament wouldnt be so bad. I've been having difficulty getting characters from both franchises together since most of the X-Men characters are simply vulnerable and unstoppable. ThePredator151, I will be PM you in a couple of days regarding your assistance. I appreciate your help.

No question sabertooth would flat out rape baraka. In one particular wolverine storyline called return of the native.

One of there battles, wolverine stabbed sabertooth in the heart, a few times in the stomach, stabbed him in the throat, then ran over him with a hummer, and parked the hummer on top of sabertooth, ended it with stabbing sabertooth in the brain, and sabertooth got up 20 pages later liek it was nothing.

There is litterally nothing baraka can do to sabertooth to win, Victor Creed all day. Sabertooth is my pick.

Hey guts, I see what you're saying but I'll still stand by those battles like Iceman and Sub for example, besides like I said for what it's worth this is the first site where sub lost that match up, since I discussed it at other sites MK and not.And not all marvel guys would beat every MK character, there are match ups I can think of that aren't listed yet that would not favor Marvel.

Anyway, yeah I would have voted for Chameleon but too late, and I can't see how she would have beaten a guy with ALL of those powers seriously.

In the game you could only choose one at a time based on random ninja power in MKT.

But say he had all of them at once, I'm going with Chameleon.

Mkf, i have a little question, how come in the noob fight and this one your bringing up there group? This isnt a battle of whos bringing help. Its sabertooth vs baraka, not sabertooth vs baraka and when baraka gets messed up call on his tarkata. I just was wondering why. And if you want to go to that extent, sabertooth can call on the brotherhood and then its over period.
