I swear, some of you guys are so obsessed with MK, that you (try to) see connections to the franchise everywhere... when there clearly are none.

If Rorschach is in this game it would be epic. It's like if Hitgirl made it into a Marvel Universe fighting game, yes it would be that EPIC!!!!!!!!!!

Shown in the trailer. Probably in the game.

Remember how all the MK fans wanted him in the last game? He's obviously in.

13. Atrocitus
Because we need a Green Lantern villain and all the MK fans want to see some blood on screen. This guy brings bucketfulls.

14. Constantine Drakon
An awesome hand-to-hand combatant. He's the most lethal martial artist in the DC universe and we need at least one Green Arrow villain.

15. Black Manta
Aquaman villain slot. Enough said.

16. Bane
He's the villain in The Dark Knight Rises. Also, there need to be at least one grappler in the roster.

17. Genocide
She'd be a fast poking character with some decent zoning due to teleports.

18. Ares
The god of war and Wonder Woman's arch nemesis. He needs to be in.

19. Scandal
Since we can't have Baraka. Scandal is the next closest thing. Also, she's a ninja.

20. Parasite
Anybody ever used Rogue in the old Marvel Vs. games? Think along those lines. He'd be incredibly versatile if a tag team mode makes the cut.

21. Heat Wave
Flash villain slot.

22. The Joker
In MK vs. DC. He's also Batman's arch nemesis.

23. Sinestro
Because one Green lantern villain isn't enough. Also, he's different enough from Atrocitus that he'd be able to stand out as his own character.

24. Black Canary
Since we can't have Sindel. Also, she is a fighter and more Green Arrow characters are always welcome.

25. Deathstroke
In MK vs. DC. He's also a Green Arrow villain.

26. Steel
Out of every Superman sidekick, Steel is the only one without power overlap. Also, he'd spawn a ton of Shaq-Fu jokes.

27. Darkseid
In MK vs. DC. He's also Superman's arch nemesis.

28. Firefly
Because he'd be fun to play. Flight and projectiles mixing into one awesome whole.

29. Doomsday
Another grappler besides Bane. We need Doomsday.

30. Artemis
A weapon master who's one of the most lethal martial artists in the DC universe. She's also brutal enough to be in MK.

31. Arkillo
He's a big grappler type, an enemy of the Green Lantern and he eats people.

The big Green Lanterns are Hal, Kyle, and John. It'll be one of those three probably Hal.

Ok so we all now the 5 confirmed characters. Then we have speculation. I say we can start pickin out the "for sure" characters in.

Green Arrow: He's getting his own show he is in the new 52 and he was in the previous all DC fighter Justice league Task Force. He is getting way more popular and DC would definitely want to boost his pop. Even more NRS could have fun with him.

Green Lantern: its not a question he is in the real question is which lantern will be the primary costume? Will others serve as alternates.

Lex Luthor: He was in MK vs. DC he's well known superman is in and luthor was in the intro. He needs to be in.

Joker: it's the fucking joker lol I liked how he played in MK vs. DC and that screenshot had what appeared to be a bio, joker fits perfectly and deserves a spot.

Aquaman: with his new installment and badassery he is a must. Plus he was also in Task Force and all the heroes (minus he and the arrow) from that game are in. With the environment interaction he is a must have and could even possibly become a fan favorite (don't f•ck up NRS)

Deathstoke: MK vs. DC and what's a DC fighter without deathstroke?

Cyborg: with the new 52 comics DC will definitely want him in. NRS is familiar with cyborg(lol) characters and what they did to sub (T.T) proves they like cyber style characters.

So that's 12 spots filled and I say they should still have about 14 more to fill AND the extra DLC packages (yes multiple we need more while we wait for MK10). Catwoman is a maybe but she could have been replaced with Harley, I dont mind. Captain Marvel.....Black Adam instead. Dark Seid very possible.

Characters I think would be cool

I really hope they don't use the characters that were in MKvsDC, like Joker, or Luthor, or darksied.

Lobo: He isn't seen enough anymore and his brutal-ness is something Netherrealm can really do justice.
AquaMan: not lame early aquaman, I'm talking about the newer badass aquaman, strong enough to throw a whale, harpoon hook handed, awesome beard having aquaman.
Black Adam: Seriously, black adam is what you get if superman or captain marvel just didn't give a fuck. Raw, brutal, savage power, the type of power where you just fly through buildings because going around obstacles is for pussies.
Hawkman: Flight + Mace = Amazing violence
WildCat: I don't want to sound lame or anything but I want Wildcat like he was in Batman: Brave and the Bold, Old but capable of kicking spectacular amounts of ass.
Bane: I've always thought Luchadore type characters were cool, but Bane should be a no-brainer in a DC fighting game, plus a boost of venom could be the effect of the gimmick button on him.
Plastic Man: This guy needs more attention, and his super powers really gives NR a lot of flexibility(lol puns) with his moves.
Booster Gold & Skeets: He just needs to be, just because he's booster gold.
Gentleman Ghost: Well besides being awesome and extremely classy he has a magical ghost cane that I doubles as a sheathed blade that can be used fencer style and a pair of haunted flintlock pistols.
Big Barda: She's big, she's bad, she looks really cool.
The Red Tornado: The power of wind, and he's a robot, whats not to like about him?
Vixen: She has cool powers that would be interesting in a fighting game, and this game is going to need some chocolate in it anyway.
Metamorpho: he can change his body parts into any liquid, solid, or gas, a cool power for a fighting game character.

This is probably like 5 or 6 more than they'd include, and probably a couple too many Batman and Lantern characters, but still.
