Dog puke is alot funnier than this. I am assuming that this is meant to be funny.
Well, you know how it goes. Somehow everybody loves your stuff and I just hate it. I respect you alot as a writer and as a person blablabla, yadda yadda yadda, you know the drill. But this sucks.
Ok, first of all, I dont think I had ever adressed this before in your comics, but those speech bubbles and the speech font are so, SO boring and so cheap. You could get great ones from Word instead of making these white squares with black outline in Paint. They look pixelated as hell.
Why exactly is Rayden giving a lesson about cliches? Maybe it's because I'm not an avid fan of this cult-like series of comics, but I don't understand. I'm assuming knowing cliches is a must for Thunder Gods, which does sound like it might have humour potential but having Rayden just saying it out like that is not the way to do it, and the result is a very unfunny attempt at something that is clearly trying to be funny. And since it's clear that it's trying to be funny and failing, it makes it even worse. Then Kidd Thunder just pops the question out of nowhere which doesn't make sense if they had already been talking, and god ''Unca Rayden'' is the most retarded, unfunniest thing I've ever heard. Can't you write uncle? We know it's a baby, we can do the accent in our mind.
Ok, then it says ''elsewhere at the moment'', so Dark Rayden has been killing a bunch of people, one of them Shujinko, Kidd Thunder knows it but Rayden doesn't?! What the....!? Again, maybe I missed the comic strip in which Kidd Thunder gains an all seeing eye. "*evil laughter*" , "evil chuckle", "insert evil laughter", and that kind of shit is just...man it's just so overdone, so old, and such a cheap pop. It was hilarious when it first started popping up here and there, but it's OLD now. It's not funny. You seem to have a passion for old shit that isn't funny. This is confirmed with the classic ''I guess things cant get any worse'' and then...things do get worse. I was sick of that joke when I was ten. It was in every single cartoon possible, alot of movies, and in comic books. It's SO overdone, it's amazing you would even consider dreaming of maybe one day THINKING of trying to put it in a comic successfully. It's got to be the oldest joke still being used nowadays. I mean, the actions thing I mentioned first is from ...what? 2002? 2003? But ''things cant get any worse'' ... Man I'm sure it goes back to the late 80s. Your comics are almost as cheesy as M*A*S*H* episodes.
You realize it's ''anything'', not ''any thing''? I guess another private joke is that Shao Kahn cant spell. Or...speak. I dunno.
Man, I hated this comic. As much as I hated all the other ones. I'm glad everybody else loves your stuff, I really am. At least someone's apreciating your work, I know I just can't bring myself to even smile while reading them. I'll keep doing it though, because I do have faith in you. If you want to stop your excellent writing and keep making this garbage, go ahead. I'll be waiting for the one comic that will be decent.
By the way, good job with the Dark Rayden sprites, they're ok for a sprite comic.

*sigh* Ok Zentile for once I'm going to try to answer you directly since you do make a few good points but seem to miss some as well.

About the font, I chose that font because it is readable and that's it. I don't see the point of getting some fancy font unless it is for sound effects. I will admit that I should try to use some different boxes and will keep that in mind in the future.

As for the lesson in cliches it the fact of what makes cliches..cliches except for the there is a seed repeating truth in them. Cliches such as the Evil Twin is a recurring one in many stories and can cause problems that even a god might have difficulties with. Other cliches which I might or might not use will be of the same line. The cliches lessons is not to ignore any wisdom there is no matter how cliche it might be. (Oh sheesh...need to stop reading fortune cookies)

The 'Unca Rayden' is an ongoing joke that has been there since before this comic series even started. I borrowed it from ]{ombat, with his permission. I don't see a reason to change that anytime soon. Yes I can write Uncle but don't feel like it.

As for Kidd knowing about Shinjinko's death, the Rayden in this komic is not the most observent (sp?) of gods and in a sense Kidd is smarter then he is. Kidd actually pays attention to the world around him and is able to use it to his benefit. Rayden doesn't really have that ability.

Ok now for the *evil laughter*, etc...not sure what's wrong with it I just find it a useful too. The reader is suppose to use them as cue as to how the person is talking and/or acting. At first it was a joke, but it developed into a tool.

And yes I like old worn out humour. Why? Because there is a reason why it is worn out because it is still funny in a way. Besides I think you're missing the point of this komic. It is suppose to be cheesy, corny, etc in a M*A*S*H* TV show sort of way. So I'll use old jokes and maybe try to throw in a few new ones when I find them.

As for quitting writing...I ask again why do I have to quit writing storys or comics to do the other. Actually I'm writing fan fictions more now then comics. Its one of the reasons why I haven't been posting more comics lately since I have two (three it you count the outtakes) fanfictions going on. One Mortal Kombat (and an outtakes one for this series) and one for Tranformers. I write these komics to take a break from the fanfictions and when inspiration strikes.

As for my grammar and spelling, I will apologize. When making comics I try to pay more attention to the placement of the sprites and background and then work on squeezing in the text. Sometimes (most...all of the time) I get to the text part and rush. I will try my best to proofread a little more before posting. Maybe I'll get a beta reader.

Now please don't take this the wrong way, I do thank you for your honest words and the only way I can improve is when someone points out where improvement is needed.

*sigh* This is getting close to a flame war. Zentile was just giving some creative critism which is fine and in fact welcomed. He is not flaming my work, he just doesn't like it and is making a few suggestions on how to improve on it. Althought how he worded it could have been a little...nicer. Flaming is just saying you hate it and not giving a reason why or give good suggestion on how to improve.

Now the people who just quoted someone else's comments and made none of there own, I just try to ignore since they don't seem to have the brains to make their own statements. At least say if you agree or don't agree with the quote.

Now everyone has a right to his/her opinion, but please don't make a big deal over a simple hobbie.

Even though Zentile was harsh about it, these comics that many of you make aren't too comical

I don't like these. They're really repetitive. And Kidd Thunder being in the same pose all of the time is annoying.

I'm not sure what it is, but it needs something more.
