I don't understand where you are coming from by saying this contest flopped when you're not even hosting it or moderating it like MKRocket and myself so please keep your mouth shut.

MKRocket and myself took the initiative of hosting this contest due to the long hiatus of a contest not being held for a while. When was the last time you saw a contest being held on this site? I doubt whether you were even a member of this site, kiddo.

The soul purpose of this contest was to have egotistic knuckleheads such as yourself to participate and prove who really has the skill and ability to muster something great. Henceforth how the guidelines were very simple in order for no-one to be restricted off their skills.

There was a high number of entrees including myself. Surprise, surprise I knew my art skills were piss-poor to boot but I wanted to brush off any rust I had.

The quality of the images were distinct from everyone else.

People voted in a fair, mature manner.

Yet you're going to have your hand under your chin and frown by saying this contest flopped? That safety helmet must really be cutting off your circulation. Actually, I question whether you could have done any better, UltimateRyu. Get over yourself.

If so, there'll probably be a problem with doing things that way...Which is the potential for 11 separate threads made, just so people can talk about their entry, in this contest.?.? Why not just use this thread, after the voting is done?

I'd recommend simply, setting a date for voting to end, winners to be announced, and the appropriate dps be issued out. Then, opening up each fake for a certain amount of time a piece. As to let people claim and explain their fake...

I think the artists would rather make their own thread so it can boost up the number of replies they get seeing as how this current thread is dieing out. I mean, for some people # of replies = sleep better at night. But some just feel that it'd get more attention in a new thread. Whatever makes them happy. It's not like you can force them to explain their submissions in here - no matter how many people agree to it.

Considering the lack of flame wars, mature voting and diversity of entries this was probably the best contest we could have hoped for. The only downside (if you could even call it that) was that it became obvious early on which fake was gonna take the cake. But since most people didn't care about winning that doesn't matter.

Only thing I'd change next time would be:
- Clear end date for votes
- People who submitted cannot vote for themselves

I would have liked #5 so much more had the Mileena sprite been better quality. I can tell this artist has potential.

Well i guess i did ok for my 1st entry in fake contest's even tho my b.g was really all wrong.The real way it should have been was the bank lv with a smaller shinnok to give the sence of a large room but by the time i figured it out it was to late and i wanted to show him off considering no one really made him xcept that johnny cage sprite. I find it looks to much like cage altho im not xzactly sure how 2 go about it that quan sprite need larger arm spikes 2 but meh whatever it was fun guys.If i had better pics of the throne room it probably would have look alot better oh well next time i guess congrads to the winners.I guess the only thing left would be 2 label the artist to there work!

Looks right for the most part there, aside from the 3rd from the bottom (3-x-7-8) which I can't locate the post. Could you point that one out if it's out of order. And the other one is interloko's post (11-7-8-11). He had his votes out of order and 8 got vote for sprites and 7 got idea.
