As Sub-Zero and Sabre walk through the closing portal the beaten android sends out a signal to the Tekunin base.
Scientist"Sifu Sektor, one of our battle droids has been defeated. These are the last images we recorded."
Sektor"Show me."
A series of still frames show Sabre in slow motion disecting the android.
Sektor"Hmmm, intresting. This organism posses formidable power send in unit 787.Upload this data to him via satalite, although we can;t reach him our satalite will."
The orders are immediatley uploaded to Ravage who is at the site of Mt. Fugi he has been honing his skills with the help of his consciencius circut.
As soon as Ravage gets the orders, his visor lights up and he sets off on his way. He runs through the information given to him from the uplink. Ravage"I will prove my worth to my clan, any and all interfering in my mission shall be terminated." Ravage sets out for China, with the Lin Kuie coordinates plugged in the ultimate android assassin is on his way. -Higher Plane- Raiden"What the hell were you thinking!! You could've been killed!" Sub-Zero"I did what Ryoko did for Gabrielle! I was willing to put my life on the line, something you seem to have forgotten how to do.My clan needed me and as their sifu it's my job to protect them!" Raiden"Sub-Zero listen to me." Sub-Zero"No you listen! If we are ever going to fight this evil we can't be restrained by the fear of death! Our realms, our homes our fight!" A dim vapor fills the air and a voice is heard. "He's right you know. If you are ever going to stop the Dragon King and his new allaince death cannot be a factor." Sub-Zero"Smoke? Smoke! Is that you? Answer me!" The voice along with the vapor vanish just as quickly as it set in. Fujin"We have a problem." Raiden"What is it now?" Fujin"Another android has been dispatched to the Lin Kuie base." Sabre"So, I killed the last one.I'm still looking for something to take my anger out on." Raiden"I won't allow this." Sabre"Bullshit you wont. I don't remmember ever saying that I was part of your alliance, I'm in this for myself." Fujin"I sence that this android is very different."Fujin shows them Ravage through a wind portal. Sub-Zero"Oh damn, OH DAMN! It's Ravage!" Nightwolf"Care to explain?" Sub-Zero"One of my spies, Illusion has reported to me of his developement. He is the ultimate killing machine. He is equipped with the latest weaponry and something called a Consciencious Ciricut. It's like a manufactured soul. This..is..not good."

*back in the chamber of lost souls the four members of the recently formed alliance stand, Vandond at the head of them as he raises warrior after warrior and sets them in a large group*

(Vandon thinks to himself): this does not make sense, not even the soul of Lucifer himself could make Sensui as powerful as he is. Hmmm... perhaps I may have to take drastic measures in order to destroy him and his lapdog at once....
Amanuet: (noticing Vandon's serious contemplation, walks over to him placing her body close up against his) what's wrong?
(Vandon scowls at her as his eyes glow green, Amanuet sinks back a bit)
Vandon: Do not even think of attempting your seductive methods upon me, I am here for power and to rip apart an old friend of mine, I desire nothing from you so work your magic on deceptame over there, he's already been duped by you and your friend once.
(Deceptame lowers his head and is silent, Amanuet's mouth gapes open as she turns away and walks away from Vandon, Deceptame sighs heavily)
Vandon: don't worry you can deal with the consequences of that when I ressurect Sareena. (Deceptame stares blankly then turns away)
Keilienaten: by "old friend", do you mean Sensui? or the Dragon King?
Vandon: (his eyes close as he clenches his teeth) no, but it is none of your business who I seek. As for those other two I believe I recall an art which I may use to increase my strength by an incredible amount to destroy them easily.
Keilienaten: I'm sensing alittle hostility towards us, if we are truly allied we should work together better. A good place to start would be you telling us what you have in mind.
Vandon: (sighing then smiling a bit) The way I see it Sensui is near the full extent of his power, though I never thought it possible, the only way he can acheive the full potential of it is to drink the Dragon King's blood.
Amanuet: How could you possibly know that?
Vandon: (turning to Amanuet, he smiles widely) Those who wrote the book I learned my dark power from created that Demi god by killing the Shadow Dragon's twin and in a blood ritual mixing it with some of the more powerful souls within the Netherrealm itself. He was taken in by the Elder Gods but the taint that is inherent within him was too strong.
Keilienaten: (open mouthed) impossible, how do you kill something like that?
Vandon: by taking the power I have and mixing it with the source that began Sensui's power at his moment of birth. By binding my body to that of the last Shadow Dragon....(all go silent as Vandon returns to raising the army)

-Chaos Sanctuary-
Sensui listens in on Vandons disscusion with his allies through a portal of flames.
Sensui"So, Vandon has read of the Shadow Dragon's Sacrifice. He believes that by absorbiing the origin of my power will increase his own. Very good Vandon, very well played. However, I was the one who dared to leap into the abyss of insanity and fully surrender my self to the darkness and fully master the Shadow Power. I was the one who created the Book of Shadows.Your knowledge is my own."
The Dragon King calls for Senui into the Chaos Sanctuary throne room.
Sensui"Yes, what is it...my lord?"
Dragon King"Sensui, I have heard of a ploy that you intend to decieve me in our upcoming battle."
Sensui"What of it?"
The Dragon King, fueled by rage tells his gaurds to seize Sensui. Hatsuma comes to his masters aid.
Sensui"Hatsuma, hold your ground! There is no need to be concerned."
The gaurds grab Sensui by his arms, but as soon as they touch him his power instantly vaporizes them in a blinding flash of light.
Dragon King"Argh! I see that I have been underestimating you. I apologize Sensui.However I doubt that your general will fare that well."
Two more dragon gaurds attack Hatsuma, he effortlessly takes out his segmented sword and dices the dragons into pieces. He then retracts his sword whipiing the blood off it.
Sensu"My general can hold his own."Sensui rushes the Dragon King at blazing speed, disappearing right infront of him and reappearing behind him.
Sensui extracts his scimitar from his hand and places it underneath the Dragon King's neck.
Sensui"Know this you oversized, one size fits everything, walking hand bag. Do not underestimate, me, although you are powerful, I can easily take you down any time I want, however doing so this soon will be ill advised. Try to spy on me again, and my blade will hand you your head."
The blade slits the dragon kings throat, just enough to make him bleed, but not seriously injure him. Sensui licks the Dragon King's blood off his molten scimitar. He then retracts the scimitar back into his hand and releases the Dragon King from his death grip.
Sensui"Cross me again, and what Vandon has planned for you will be nothing compared to my wrath." Sensui and Hatsuma walk out of the Chaos Sanctuary gates. As Senui walks out he waves his hand at the Dragon King"Keep your friends close, and your even enemies closer."
-SoulChamber-
Vandon is enraged at what he witnessed.
Vandon"Argh! How is it possible? How can he have so much power?! Where is he keeping it all, it makes no sensce! He's actually toying with the Dragon King!"He shoots out a fire ball into one of surrounding walls narrowly missing Amanuet.
Amanuet"Hey, watch it! That almost took my head clean off!"
He quickly turns around and lowers his head, clenching his fists closing his eyes and takes a deep breath."Never the less, this changes nothing"
He goes back to ressurecting the undead army, still thinking of what he witnessed.

*Vandon continued raising the largest army ever created well into the night, his allies fell to sleep and he soon stops for a moment then meditates*
(Vandon thinks to himself silently) This has become a game of who knows what the other is up to, luckily my friend it appears we both have our little secrets
*He hums as a dark aura surrounds him and he watches the events pertaining to the Dragon King occur*
Vandon: You may have become strong Sensui and I may not truly know the extent of your power but your arrogance is your weakness. You may know all that I know pertaining to the book of shadows but my power does not come solely from there you fool. I will show you one day. (smiles) One day you will see why I survived so long in the Netherealm before I ever found that book.
*Vandon closes his eyes and hums again as the Shadow Dragon arises from the ground and roars loudly, waking up the other three allies as it jumps into the air, wrapping itself in a spiral then constricts itself around Vandon*
Amanuet: What the hell is going on!?
Deceptame: I dunno but I'm not sure we should just be standing here waiting to see.
*Suddenly an explosion of darkness occurs as all three are thrown back against the wall)
All: ooof
Keilienaten: I'm getting kind of tired of constantly being slammed against walls.
*all fall silent as a cloud of smoke clears to show a tall figure, around 7'8", walk forward with a long drapping cape and cloak with his hood down and hair flying in the wind. His muscles have expanded several times and his eyes glow a deep green as he raises his hand and clenches his right fist then slams it to the ground, the gauntlet causing a tremor throughout Outworld*
Amanuet: (somewhat concerned) uh..uh...don't kill me I'm sorry about before
Vandon: phase one of my plan has begun now shut up we have plenty more work to do to take care of these pathetic parasites. (stares up at the sky) Do not underestimate me Sensui, this is no longer the game you thought it would be.

Sensui sences the enormous power of Vandon in the Netherealm. His hand slightly shakes as he clenches it into a fist and slams it into the ground.
Sensui"Damn him! He's challenging me?!" He comes down"I guess that's to be expected. Vandon, you believe that my arogance will lead to my downfall. You're sorely mistaken. My arogance is what drives me. My arrogance comes from eons of tourment in the Abyss. I was damned to this place by the Elder Gods, tossing in an endless void of darkness not knowing witch way is up or down. My power controls the Nethrealm realm, it does not derive from it. My power is your life force! My power is your malice and deepening hatered for all around you! Do not toy with me! This game is not the same as it it was, but it is also not the same one that you dragged yourself into!"
He starts to swell with energy. His dark skin begins to crack as the Shadow power surges through his viens. His eyes change from a blood red to an infernal black with white flames. HIs hair changes from red to silver. He pulsates with a blue and black aura as the Netherealm shakes violently. His power summons the Abyss Dragon which shoots into him causing him to surge with power. A blindenig flash fills the Netherealm as Sensui changes into something much more powerful than any God. As the smoke clears Sensui stands, the blackness of the Abyss swallowing parts of his body. Energy surges through his body as his ominus arua spreads to the deepest reaches of the Netherealm.
Sensui"Vandon, you are my greatest rival, and you know much, but you know nothing of me."
The power of these two can be felt through all of the connecting realms, even in the Higher Plane.
-Higher Plane-
Ryoko Collapses from the power she sences as does Raiden.
Raiden finally gets the strength to get up and walk to Ryoko who is still weak from the power surge.
Raiden"Now do you see why I was hesitant to let you go. If you would have faught with Sensui if he had summoned the power of the Abyss, you would have been killed instantly. You and Gabrielle."
Raiden puts his hand on her shoulder and tries to comfort her."You can not make decisions on a narrow mind. Gabrielle would have suffered longer, but it would have given us a greater chance of rescuing her.Please forgive me."
Raiden takes his hand of her shoulder and walks away."However, if Sensui has truely tapped into the Abyss, then I fear their maybe no limit to his power."
Ryoko has a look of pure terror in her eyes.

I'm enjoying this little power struggle that's happening between Sensui and Vandon.

*In the Higher plains*
Sabre: what the hell are you all standing around for?
(Sub-zero is stunned and Raiden looks down for a moment then back up at Sub-Zero)
Raiden: You must go and protect you clan, take Sabre with you, if anything you will still be helping us by preventing Ravage from becoming a further nuisance to our cause.
Sabre: its a bout damn time, I tire of how long it takes you gods to make decisions
Sub-zero: (regaining his composure, he stands tall) very well... Sabre lets go
(Raiden opens a portal and they both jump through)
(fujin enters) Raiden I just felt a sudden surge of power from somewhere in Outworld, more powerful than anything I've felt before.
(raiden closes his eyes and meditates)
Raiden:(suddenly his eyes open) Vandon... we've got more problems than I originally thought

-Off somwhere in a far off cavern-
(a tall man begins slamming his fists into the walls of this stane cave, shaking the very cave itself)
"the man"- RRRRRAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! (He picks up a rock and throws it into a wall leaving a deep depression within it) I'm tired of standing here being helpless!!!!
(a soldier walks up to him slowly)
soldier- not now my lord you are still too weak and if you show yourself your enemies would take advantage to attack you.
"the man":(he suddenly picks up a giant warhammer and swings it at the soldier) THEN LET THEM COME!!!
soldier- my lord, wait until you've replenished your power with the souls of the warriors we bring to you.
"the man"- RRRRRRRRRAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! (He falls to his knees an goes silent as he slams his fists into the ground) ...very well

yeah it is fun... I think the last two stories need to be interrelated alittle to make sense. Say, perhaps the thing between Raiden and ryoko occurs after Sabre and Sub-Zero are sent to fight Ravage and Fujin senses Vandon

Outworld's wastelands:

A small dark blue portal opens, and a shadowy, imposing figure wielding a scythe steps out.

"What do you think....Piroh?"

"Plenty of strong ones here, yes! Perhaps your mission may not be as easy to carry out as you had hoped, no?"

"Ha ha ha...it is of no consequence. We have our task to fulfill...and if any should just so happen to get in our way...well...so much the better. Long has it been since I last saw the exquisite features of suffering etched on a mortal's face..."

The two begin their trek...

Sabre is standing in the middle of the room.He feels a surging pain going through his mind.
Sabre "TK-787"
Sub-Zero runs up to him "What did you say!?"
Sabre "I had a pain in my head...then numbers appeared,they were TK-787."
Sub-Zero stares into his eyes "Oh God,he's coming..."
Sabre "Who is it?"
Sub-Zero "A member of Sektor's clan,Unit TK-787,other known as Ravage."
Sabre "Another pesky little cyborg...it doesn't matter,look what happened to the last."
Sub-Zero "This is different,he is much stronger."
Sabre "But I have other things to worry about."
Sub-Zero "No,we must first fight Ravage,I saw the look in your eyes earlier,you have the urge to kill,this is your chance."
Sabre "How did you know."
Sub-Zero "I have seen the look before,I know."
Sabre "So now you want me to help you kill one of your problems."
Sub-Zero "No,one of yours,they are after you,they must of seen you kill their last cyborg."
Sabre "This one will also learn what happens when you piss me off.And Zero,you're coming with me for it."
Sub-Zero "I know,I must."
Sabre "Now we must leave and meet up with that shit,let's go."

*Vandon completes the army and turns to his allies*
Vandon: I want you to rally together the army and await my orders.
Deceptame: Wait one second, what about Sareena!
Vandon: (grabbing Deceptame by the throat) We may be allies but don't you ever talk to me in that tone again, I am your only chance of survival right now so shut it. (He throws Deceptame to the ground then holds his hand out as a portal opens from the ground and a woman falls to the floor with a terrified look in her eyes)
Sareena: (she curls up in the fetal position and shuts her eyes) no...NOOOOO!!!! stop...
Deceptame: Sareena!
(looking up she sees deceptame and runs to him and they embrace)
Vandon: make this lovely little moment quick we still have much more to do. I've done all I said I would now its your turn. Await my orders.
Keilienaten: Wait where are you going?
Vandon: (smiling) I'm just going to phase 2 of my plan and make things alittle more interesting. (he fades to darkness)
*The high plains*
(Raiden and Fujin have separated from the group to hold council with eachother)
Fujin: things have become much more desperate than they ever have been before.
Raiden: I do not know if we are truly prepared enough to do this even with the help of the warriors we have gathered here.
(a voice calls from behind): Well I do know, and let me tell you that you have no chance in heaven or hell.
(Raiden and Fujin Quickly turn to see vandon standing there leaning against the wall)
Raiden: what does an Edenian traitor want here? We have no intention of allying ourselves with you Vandon!
(Vandon laughs deeply)
Vandon: and why would I want the help of a god
Fujin: then why are you here?
(Vandon smiles widely as he disappears. Suddenly he is holding Raiden and Fujin by the throat and staring coldly into both of their eyes)
Vandon: FOR POWER!!! (suddenly a dark energy flows from the gods into vandon as Vandon laughs loudly. Black marks move up along Vandon's arms and the tattoo along the side of his face becomes deeper and darker and his muscles become harder and larger. The gods drop to the ground and stand slowly, weakened considerably)
Fujin: what have you done?
Vandon: do not worry you'll see soon enough (he fades away and the two gods fall back to the floor and pass out. Hearing all the commotion Ryoko runs to the room and opens the door viewing Raiden and Fujin laying upon the floor unconscious)

*back in the remote cavern far off in the deserts of Outworld a spy returns to speak to the tall shadowed figure who hides within*
"the man": so, it seems so much has occurred since the deadly alliance fell. The realms have been broken into three groups and this seems to continually change.
Spy: one more thing my lord, one of the key players in this coming war is... Vandon Sozek.
"the man": (He is silent for a moment then stands) I see... this interests me greatly.
Spy: the war apparently is being held off by a coming Mortal Kombat tournament, this may be your chance my emperor.
(the man steps out from the shadows and places an armored skull helmet upon his head)
Shao Kahn: I only need a few more souls to return to the strength I need... Bring me them quickly, my time is nigh. None know I'm still alive save for Vandon, this is advantageuos to me, and when the Tournament begins I will face Vandon, Sensui, and the Dragon King one by one and they will all fall before me as so many warriors have done before.

-Soul Chamber- Dormatory

Keileanten, Deceptama, and Amanuet rush in.

Deceptame: I fear hell is about to break.
Amanuet: They need to start breaking this habit. How are we even going to finish our plan?
Keileanten: Do not worry. Our plan is more than half way done. We got the our army awaken. We’re closer to the Dragon King. Let’s let this bastard battle his own battle with Sensui. We take the army and head straight for the Dragon King.
Deceptame: I like that plan. First we need to rescue my bride.
Keileanten: Please, like we’re letting Sareena out.
Deceptame: (upset) We made a deal.
Amanuet: Indeed we did, but you had us both last night. Wasn’t that enough.
Deceptame: Yeah, to ease my lust, but what about love?
Keileanten: What’s love gotta do with it? Two naked bodies inlvoved in sexual intercourse is all that matters.

Amanuet and Keileanten start to carress Deceptame’s face. They almost kiss him. Sareena walks in and interrupts them.

Sareena: Stay away from my Lord.
Deceptame: Sareena?
Sareena: It is I, the one and only.
Amanuet: How’d you get out of Netherworld?
Vandon: I took her out. I do keep my promises.
Keileanten: Always ahead of everyone aren’t you?
Vandon: I like to keep on top of things. Move faster. You know, I should kill all three of you. Wanting to steal the army I awoke and command it. That’s a huge mistake. But I won’t. I’m letting you take this army, and invade the Dragon King’s castle. In the meantime I will fight Sensui, defeat him. Then will see what fate runs between us after. (he begins to laugh as he disappears)


-Arachnid- Main Spider Chamber

Nasha webs in carrying Celestial. Hatsuma orbs in.

Nasha: Good. Now, I want you to put his soul back in his body.
Hatsuma: Why? Just kill him now.
Nasha: I want to her his screams as I suck his inner organs out.
Hatsuma: Very well then.

Hatsuma obeys and shoots the Celstial’s soul back into the body. They body immediately shakes, trying to get free from the caccoon he’s wrapped in.

Nasha: Finally, the time has come. My kind will finally have full power to all that is un-living. The prophecy is too be fullfield.

She’s about to take a bite out of Celestial, but a huge shadow appears under Celstial. Celestial sinks in, and the shadow disappears. Noob Saibot teleports out from the ground with Celestial.

Noob: Sucks to be you now.

Hatsuma charges at Noob Saibot, but the shadow ninja throws another shadow just like him to Hatsuma. The clone shadow grabs Hatsuma, and DDTs him to the ground.
Nasha runs towards Noob, but the Ninja sinks into the shadows on the ground, taking Celestial. Nasha screams in anger.
Hatsuma is about to punch the clone shadow, but it just disappears. He too screams with hate.


-Arena-

Vandon is leading Keileanten, Amanuet, Deceptame, and Sareena outside the chamber, into the arena. He proudly presents them the living dead army. They’re just like the Dragon King’s army, but much bigger and more grotesque.
They’re all amazed.

Vandon: You’re children await to go to battle.
Deceptame: Unbelievable
Vandon: I present you two great leaders of this army.

A very grotesque living dead man riding a horse joins them. He is in his living dead horse.

Vandon: This is Skab.
Keileanten: Skab? He’s name is more grotesque than his figure.
Amanuet: Wasn’t Skab in reality Liu Kang? He was resurrected by the Dragon King. Due to his nasty figure, athey aka’ed him Skab.
Decpetame: There’s a lot of rumors. Some say he’s Noob Saibot out of his reagular outfit.
Sareena: It’s an enigma. No one will eventually know until the game actually begins.
Vandon: Now, I present you, AYIDO HWEDO. He was the leader of the Dragon King’s army
Deceptame: (glad) Ayido. We meet again.
Ayido: (glad) Indeed we do. (he jumps off the horse and hugs his long lost friend)
Keileanten: At least he’s not ugly looking like Skab.
Skab: Be careful what your tongue spits, for it will be what you eat.
Keileanten: Sure Shakespear.
Vandon: There. Take the army to defeat the Dragon King. I’ will prepare to battle Sensui in Mortal Kombat to the end. Now, I have to attend my two Elder God guests. (laughs)

He swirls around in a tornado and disappears.

Keileanten: Finally, the time has come to attack. The final battle is about to take it’s course.
Amanuet: Don’t get too cocky. There never is a final battle. There’s always battle after battle. Evil never dies it just sleeps.
Sareena: Actually, evil never rests.
Ayido: I need to venge my death.
Keileanten: Join the club. Everyone wants a piece of the Dragon King.

-Higher Plain-
Ryoko finds Raiden and Fujin laying on the floor. She quickly calls for KaTain for assistance and drags them into their quarters.
Gabrielle, still weak from her ordeal with Sensui staggers in with Nightwolfs help.
Gabrielle"H....How are they Ryoko?"
Ryoko"Gabrielle! You need your rest...please."
Gabrielle"I can't sleep, don't you get it?! Every time I close my eyes the same things happens. First I relive the momments in the Netherealm. Second, and I don't know why this happens, the final things I hear Sensui tell his second in command Hatsuma tear me up inside. I start crying for him uncontrolabley! So please, how are Raiden and Fujin?"
Ryoko(Sigh)"Not well I'm afraid. Their life force is almost drained completley. Who ever did this was very powerful. It couldn't have been Sensui, I still sense him in the Netherealm. Who ever it was, he must have been exceedingly strong to do this."
A voice from the background breaks the brief silence. A cloud of myst appears and two red eyes with the silloheat of a male ninja can be seen.
Ninja"Geez, you really are clueless aren't you?"
Ryoko"Hold your tongue. Who are you."
Ninja"That does not concern you. The one who did this was Vandon, the former Edinean Royal Assassin under Jerrod's rule."
Nightwolf recognizes the shadow"Wait a second, Smoke? Smoke is that you! Please don't go."
The silloheat disappears with out saying a word.
-Death Plains-
Vandon appears at the battleground where he and Sensui are to do battle. Vandon's hand starts to shake. He clenches it into a fist to regain control. As he relaxes it shakes again.
Vandon"What the hell is going on here? Why am I shaking. I know that I can beat Sensui."
"It's fear and uncertainty" A voice says in the blood red fog.
Vandon turns around to see Sensui standing on a broken pillar."What the hell do you know."
Sensui(chuckling slightly)"Oh don't be simple Vandon. You put on a brave front and your great power is proof of your immense skill, but just like any mortal, your fear dwells within you and eventually takes over."
Vandon regains control of his shaking and relaxes."Sensui, this will be your graveyard. You will not leave here alive."
Sensui"And you said MY arrogance was my weakness. Your uncertainty in your skills is your fault. I have enjoyed this little power struggle but now this battle will lead one of us to victory, the other faces death. So are you really set to die if you don't kill me? I was dead before, I have no lingering regrets."
Sensui chants a spell, and a black flame forms in his hand, it then turns into a sword with a black luster.
Vandon's eyes open in surprise"The Malice blade..."
The red fog lifts from the battle field as Vandon summons a weapon of his own. A demonic kitetsu called the Shadow Reaver. The two warriors square off in a battle that will shake the realms themselves.

This is Solus, from Breakdown, but for visual aid, this is kind of what Hatsuma looks like.

(in the netherrealm the battle between Sensui and Vandon reaches a point of reality shaking power and the strength surging through each combatant is immense)
Sensui: I control this realm Vandon, you have no chance of beating me here.
(Vandon closes his eyes as he works to maintain his calmness and state of mind he continues to battle Sensui with all the rage and hatred he has accumulated throughout his life. Sensui has become deformed to the point of being a monstrocity his power is just barely matched by that of Vandon's)
(Vandon fires three black dragon fireballs towards Sensui whose speed helps him to easily dodge all of them. As Sensui dodges all of them Vandon appears behind him and stabs him through the stomach with his weapon. Sensui looks into Vandon's face as he begins to smile.)
Sensui: You're a fool. Your power is great but I control everything here in the darkness of the netherrealm. Now you die!!! (Sensui plunges his blade through Vandon's heart and Vandon stumbles back and falls to the floor. Sensui removes the weapon his opponent had stabbed him with and and throws it to the ground and turns his back to Vandon triumphantly. Then suddenly a voice startles him from behind)
Vandon: A demi god can be destroyed, hate cannot.
Sensui: What the hell!?(Sensui turns around astonished to see Vandon there floating above the ground with the Malice blade in his hand) Impossible, you should be dead. How can this be?
Vandon: (laughing greatly he smiles) The little secret I was holding. I'm surprised you haven't figured it out yet. Its quite simple really, you were right. My power is yours, it derives from this abyss which you have power over. Here you are immortal, as am I. The Book of Shadows hinted at this and it took me awhile to know what to expect. This fight will not end if we continue here, it will last an eternity. So I have a little proposal for you.
Sensui: We seem to be at a stalemate, what is it you had in mind?
Vandon: The Dragon King has become the holder of another Mortal Kombat tournament on the face of Outworld. On outworld we will both be powerful, but one of us can and will die. Face me in the tournament and we'll see who truly is the stronger of the both of us.
Sensui: If you knew this why did you bother coming down here to face me in the first place?
Vandon: Two reasons. One I was not certain that I was correct in my theory so I took a risk to find out. Second I came to complete a third phase of my overall plan. (He reaches into the shadows and begins glowing with a dark aura) mmmmmmmm.... invigorating. I may have been a Mortal with the capacity to fear when we began this but now I surpass that. With the energy I've taken from this realm and the energy I've taken from Fujin and Raiden I am greater than a god and greater than you Sensui!!!
Sensui: You continue to underestimate me Vandon. You know nothing of my power, I am the strongest being in all of the realms!!!
Vandon: You can have the chance to test that in Mortal Kombat. I'll be interested to see how you fair in a battle out of your own realm. Till next we meet my child. (Vandon fades to darkness)
(Sensui charges at the fading Vandon) Sensui: CHILD!!!??? I'LL KILL YOU, YOU BASTARD!!! (he punches into the darkness and hits nothing but air. He grits his teeth in anger.)
-In the Palace of the Dragon King-
The Dragon King: soon it will begin. That fool Sensui thinks he is greater than I. Tis a shame he has not seen my true power yet. (laughs) I'll kill them all and claim them all in my lust for domination. (points to one of his minions) Go and spread the word to those fools of the tournament I'm holding for all of the realms.

-Death Plains, Netherealm-
Sensui calms down. He then starts laughing demonicly."Dhahaha. Yes, this is it. This is the rush I have been waiting for." Sensui rematerializes the Malice Blade. The words of Vandon still fresh in his head."A demi-god can be killed, hatred can not."
Sensui"Well then I shall rectify that." Sensui plunges the Malice blade into his body, causing himself to bleed to death. His body grows cold and dark. Suddenly, the Malice Blade begins to pulseate. The Abyss itself starts to bend around the areana. The Malice blade levitates into the air gving of a dark aura. A spark of darkness is shot into the blade igniting it with evil fire, curupting it even further. Slowly but surely a bone appears on the handle of it. Then more and more bones start to materialize forming a hand, arm, torso, and then a skeleton. The bones are then covered with viens, flowing with the energy of malice and hatred. Tissue apears on the bones and the animated body starts to bleed. The body walks over to the cold corpse and plunges the Malice blade into it, causing a pillar of light to shoot through the darkness. The corpse turns into flames and starts to spiral around the body. One by one, the flames charge into the body as it's parts are set on fire. Once all of the flames have hit the body, it is engulfed in demonic flames. The flames subside in a tornado and a shadowy figure kneels on one leg with the Malice blade in front of him, in his hands. He raises his head, eyes gleaming with a familiar white flame and platinum hair.
"Hahahahaha, dahahahahaha!!Mortal Kombat it is then."
-Arachnid Lair-
Nasha"I can't believe that Noob Saibot just did that! Argh, I will eat him alive!"
Hatsuma"Like you know any other way."As soon as Hatsuma says this his new body glows an eerie blue flame."I didn't think that my lord would go this far."
Hatsuma"It's time for me to visit the Elder Gods."
Nasha"What are you talking about?"
Hatsuma"My master and I are spiritualy linked, I know what he desires."
Hatsuma shoots into the sky in a blazing flash of light.
-Higher Plain-
Raiden and Fujin regain conscieceness. The first thing they see are the remaining warriors at their side.
Raiden"Ry..Ryoko?"
Ryoko"Raiden! Your awake! I'm so sorry!"
Raiden"No, You were right, all though you would've been killed when facing Sensui, You have done what I have preached. Mortal Kombat, taking your desteny into your own hands, regardless the consequences."
Fujin awakes with Nemisis at his side.
Nemisis"Welcome to the world of the living, you fossil."
Fujin lightly chuckling"Don't be such a smart ass."
Nemisis helps Fujin rise and they walk into Raiden's room.
As Raiden looks at them, fear fills his eyes.
Nemisis"What?, Huh he turns around."
To everybody's misfortune, Hatsuma stands leaning against a wall surging with energy.
Hatsuma looks at them, emotionless as ever"knock, knock."

I have a question, if we decide who dies in this story based upon who is eliminated from the character tournament would it not be wise to begin the Dragon King's Mortal Kombat tournament when the character tournament finally begins?

on a side note, is it me or is this story beginning to run alot like an episode of DBZ? I dunno I was just reading alot of what happened and it reminds alittle bit of bad anime. hmmm... nevermind.

(Keileanten, Amanuet, Sareena, and Deceptame are leading the undead army to the Palace of the Dragon King as Vandon appears far off in the distance and smiles widely)
Keileanten- Onward to the Dragon King... he is ours to kill!!!
(Vandon cracks his neck side to side as he watches from atop a cliff unseen, the army comes face to face with the undefeatable army of the Dragon King and a great battle begins)
Vandon: Hehehehehehehahahahahahahahahaha!!! You four are no longer needed as a distraction. (Vandon raises his hand and the souls of the army rush from the host bodies and fly into Vandon himself. The four turn around as they see the army fall to the ground lifeless.)
Amanuet: What the hell is going on!?
Keileanten: Vandon has betrayed us, this was never about him helping us ....he just used us as a distraction!!!
(The army surrounds them and Li Mei steps forward)
Li Mei: Come the Dragon King wishes to see you all.
-Inside the Dragon King's palace-
(the four warriors stand shackled and chained together before the great Dragon King himself)
The Dragon King: Welcome my pets.
Keileanten: To hell with you!!! Let us go you coward and face us.
The Dragon King: Don't be so hasty, all good things come to those who wait. Do not worry I have no intention of killing you...yet. (he smiles) Li Mei, take them and prepare them for the tournament.
Li Mei- Yes, my lord.
-outside the palace-
(vandon sees what happens with in and throws his head back in a mighty laughter)
Vandon: So now it will soon begin and end, as it should. (He throws his head up and shouts in a mighty cry) MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-The Higher Pane-
(Raiden hears the scream of Vandon and closes his eyes as he is still weakened)
Ryoko: what's wrong?
Raiden: Prepare yourselves, Our enemies await us...

Sabre and Sub-Zero continue the search for Ravage when Sabre hears footsteps in the distance.
Sabre "Get down."
They both kneel behind a rock as Ravage walks by them then turns around and scans the area,he see's nothing and keeps walking.
Sub-Zero "Go over to that tree,if he finds one of us,the other will attack."
Sabre dashes over to the tree snapping a twig beside Sub-Zero.Ravage turns around and walks towards Sub-Zero.He picks him up by the throat with his tentacles.Sabre runs towards him with immense speed and tackles him,then kicked him to a tree.
Sabre "Don't mess with me..."
Sub-Zero throws an ice ball at Ravage,he dodges and Sabre runs to him and picks him up by the throat then kicks him up in the air upward and on the way down he slices his chest plate.Ravage stands up and runs to Sabre grabbing him with his tentacles and throws him across the area.
Sub-Zero "Don't take your eyes off him..."
Ravage looks away then back,Sabre had ran behind him,he slices Ravage's arms off and kicks him against a tree.
Sabre "And I was worried,pathetic."
Sabre runs to the tree and takes out the thrice dragon and slices the tree causing it to fall on Ravage.Sabre and Sub-Zero go back to the Higher Plain.Ravage sends a transmition to Sektor,calling him to come and retrieve the broken down cyborg.

I must agree, that the tournament does not start until the Karakter Kreate tourny begins. Therefore we shouldn't kill anyone yet. I still don't know when the tournament is going to begin, but it should begin. Right now we should focus in getting the kreated karacter involved in the story so they can make sense in the tourny.

Piroh is in, but we must continue that story. That's why I also added Ayido.

I also agree this is like DBZ, even though I've never watched it. I'm not really into that. I just hear all my friends and cousins talk about it. I don't think it's bad anime. We could call it thenever-before-scene-footage sotry behind Mortal Kombat. I dunno. I'm a writer, and always wanted to write stries for Mortal Kombat, and right now I'm enjoying writing this stories. The brainstorming and the fact that we are lots of guys writing is great.

-Dragon King Castle- Cell

Deceptame, Keilienaten, Amanuet, Ayido, and Sareena are locked in a dirty cell. Deceptame is really angry and punches the cavern walls.

Sareena: (calming him) Do not overstress yourself my love. The worse is not over. We are close to the Dragon King aren’t we.
Deceptame: Yes, but we have no army anymore. Our plan ruined by deception.
Sareena: You haven’t learned anything yet. You trust anyone. That will get you killed. We still have one great sorcerer on our side.
Keilienaten: Please, if you’re talking about Quan-Chi, he is dead.
Sareena: My Lord forbid me mentioning that son of a bitch. I was talking about Shang Tsung.
Amanuet: Shang Tsung. Wasn’t he dead?
Sareena: Oh no baby. He is very much alive.
Deceptame: What good is that? We still need an army.
Keilienaten: I got one.
ALL: (shocked)
Keilienaten: Yes. My army of more than a thousand men are outside the secret portal. They’re waiting for me to give orders and plan an attack.
Deceptame: Why didn’t you say anything?
Keilienaten: I didn’t know who to trust. I was planning on deiciving you all but now I can’t. I won’t.
Sareena: Is that suppose to make us trust you?
Keilienaten: I careless if you do. I care about the rest.
Amanuet: (upset) Why didn’t you mentioned it to us?
Keilienaten: I’m sorry. I really am.
Deceptame: No time for apologies. One: we’re the bad guys also. We have no feelings. Two: we have to get to work. Keilienaten, when is your clan ready to attack.
Keilienaten: As soon as send my orders.
Amanuet: When is that?
Keilienaten: When Mortal Kombat begins.
Sareena: Even if we’re planning to get your troops, how are we gonna get ou of here.
Keilienaten: I’ll come get you.

Keilienaten orbs out of the room.

Sareena: I don’t trust her. She’s not coming back.
Amanuet: Somehow I do trust her.



-Edenia-

Piroh and a hooded figure are heading to Queen Sindel’s castle.

Piroh: Finally, we’re here.

The figure takes off the hood, revealing to be Lianna.

Lianna: Finally, I’m home.


-Sindel’s Castle- Dining Room

Queen Sindel is all alone sitting on the huge table waiting for dinner. She’s very sad. Her servant barges in.

Servant: Queen Sindel, madam, there’s two people here to see you.
Sindel: How many times have I told not to let strangers come in.
Servant: She says she knows you. She says her name is Lianna.
Sindel: Lianna, but she died thousands of years ago.
Lianna: (running in) And now I’m alive.

They hug intesenively .

Lianna: How are things?
Sindel: Bad. Kitana’s been kidnapped.
Lianna: I heard. What about Jade.
Sindel: (turns away) Unfortunately she had align with Shao Khan and tried to kill Kitana.
Lianna: Why? Aren’t tthey good friends?
Sindel: I don’t know what to think of anything. Everyone is deceiving everyone.
Lianna: (worried) What of Jade?
Sindel: She did have a change of heart, but it was too late. The Dragon King took them both.
Lianna: Damn Dragon King. What are the plans?
Sindel: I’ve joined with Tanya to go and rescue my daughter.
Lianna: Is she to trust?
Sindel: Yes. She has been with me all this time. Together we’ve been planning how to get to the Dragon King’s castle.
Piroh: You cannot trust Tanya.
Sindel: And you are?
Piroh: My name is Piroh.
Sindel: (upset) Maybe I shouldn’t trust you.
Lianna: Clam down Sindel. Piroh means no harm, and is to trust. Piroh too has been with me since I escaped from Shang Tsung’s soul chamber.
Sindel: That bastard Shang Tsung. I’m glad he’s dead.
Lianna: Oh no. He is very much alive. No one knows where he is.
Sindel: (upset) Don’t tell me Quan-Chi is still alive, too?
Lianna: He was. He was killed by the hands of three worse rivals. These beings are here for more massacre in the world.
Sindel: Who are they?
Lianna: Deceptame, used to to be head commander of the Dragon King’s army. The powerful Amanuet, and Keilienaten.
Sindel: Who in the world is Keilienaten?
Piroh: She’s a very powerful Goddess from another world. Another realm. A realm much stronger than this one. They possess powers never witnessed. She has powers no match for us. I still don’t know why she hasn’t used them. It is pretty strange.
Sindel: Things are getting worser and worser.

Rain barges in breathing heavily. He takes off his mask, revealing the same facial as Shao Khan, but younger.

Rain: It’s hell out there. The Dragon King’s army are almost barging in.
Sindel: Damn. Either we keep fighting until the end, or I must go now and play in Mortal Kombat.
Rain: No mother, let me go.
Lianna: Mother?
Sindel: Yes. Lianna, this is my son, Jerrod.
Lianna: (shocked) Jerrod?
Sindel: Yes I named him after my first king.
Lianna: (confused) But I thought Kitana was the only child?
Rain: The only child? Are you kidding me. I have two sisters. Both older than me. Kitana, and KaiTan. They’re half sisters of course. My father is none other than that sick bastard who I wish to kill when I find him, Shao Khan.
Lianna: You’re son of Shao Khan?
Rain: Unfortunitelly. I wish Jerrod was my father. I’m glad to have his name. You can call me Rain. And yes mother, I wanna go fight in Mortal Kombat.
Sindel: No, let me go. I have to find Kitana, and together fight to save this land.
Rain: Mother, I am the next king of Edenia. It’s my fight.
Sindel: Yes, and that’s why I need you to defend it. Stay and fight for Edenia, and I will save it in Mortal Kombat.
Rain: But mother
Lianna: Listen to your mother, Jerr—Rain. I will go with her.

-Rahankatut Realm-

Keilienaten steps out of the invisible secret portal. Her army has been waiting for her. They are huge creature with dead wolf heads, and dead Hawk heads.

Keilienaten: It’s time to stop playing around, and finish the game. The time has come to punish all the living and the non living. I wasted my time playing weak when I am actually strong. No one knew where I came from, nor I care if they know now. It’s time for us to win our war and claim Outworld as ours. Then we will move on and rule other realms. Are you READY!

Her thousand creature soilders roar and raise their weapons. Keilienaten raises her hands and shoots out huge light from both her hands, lighting the entire area. The invisible secret portal becomes visible and starts to interact with the soilders as they go through the portal.
Keilienaten laughs hysterically.


-Higher Plains-

Ryoko: When is Mortal Kombat to begin?
Raiden: When all the chosen players arrive to the Dragon King’s battlegrounds.
Ryoko: When are we going?
Raiden: (scoffs) I won’t even fight with you on this one. I know you will still go. We leave at the crack of dawn.

Kung Lao joins them.

Raiden: Kung Lao. Where have you been. We’ve been trying to contact you.
Kung Lao: I know. So sorry. I was in war at Edenia battling the dead army. I am here now to help. I m here to destroy the Dragon King.
Gabrielle: Don’t get to cocky. He is a very powerful rival.
Kung Lao: I am the best, and will destroy that bastard. I will make sure everyone sees when I kill the Dragon King with my bare hands.
Raiden: Are in this to be recognize, Kung Lao. If that is the case, your ego will not let you win.
Kung Lao: If my brother Liu Kang can do it, so can I.

He walks away upset.
