It's a simple lab exercise to work on "making shadows" in photoshop, that I turned into something else. Figure I'd start sharing these things with something really basic and simple; so that over time, people can see my progression through school.

Many people know that I don't used PS for much except cutouts. Until now(only photoshopCs2 used on this), so this is kind of a good start I think.

Anyway, critique, comment...enjoy.

Started to make it two sided (MkvsDc) but I got too busy. Besides, I think this idea is cool. Forgot to add a scroll bar (indicating more available characters) before I saved it. could still happen before I turn it in next week though...

- sky too bright and clouds need to be dark

- get rid of white dots round the hand

- get rid of MK logo in background

- get rid of chinese letter at side unless that wee bit is getting folded

- Mortal Kombat need to be more eye catching

- I think right leg (raiden's left leg) is missing

- sky is pixelated

His other leg's not missing. The lightning bolt is just making it so bright that it looks like it's not even there. It's still a pretty good first try. I think fixing the sky will make it alot better.

Thanks for the comments guys. I got the lab in today, so I'll have to wait to see what he thinks about it, and how he grades it next week.

Sadly, I'm not going to be editing this one further. Instead, what'll happen is updated versions of this hypothetic "cover art" a couple times, until it's agreeable.

We all know what time and experience allows.

Instructor digs my style apparently. But he made note of a couple of things, and i wanna see if you guys can catch the same....or different.
