Well as you know the last mk film was REALLY bad and do you think they should make up for it by making this movie 3 hours long like king kong to make up for there mistakes and please the fans of mortal kombat?? I say yes bring it and 3 hours is worth it for what they did to the last film. With 3 hours they can introduce plenty of characters and give them a decent part.

Well, I think that it should be done just so they can fit MK3 and MK4 into one.

I think they should sell it to some other, more focused producers.
Well, the answer to why the movie was so jacked up is in the thread "Tale Of The Tape." As for making it lengthy, they don't have to make it THAT long, they just need to put the elements of Mortal Kombat where they are supposed to be and stop bullshitting with the greater audience by thinking about middle schoolers when doing a movie. Give us what we wanna see!!!

Well i don't really know if mk would make it 3 hours i mean the budget is 50 million i think and king kong was 212 million i think and it was a 3 hour film that turned out pretty good. But if mk3 turns out bad again i am so done with the movies so they better give us fanz what we want and make it 3 hours and don't let us down!

yeah, the movie should be about almost 2 hours. No more, cause Mortal Kombat just isnt the type of movie to hold you for more then that.2 hours is enough to include everything that needs to be shown and addresed. But please dont email them saying,"oh I wanna see subzero fight....?????"or"I want 1000000000000000 special effects (might as well just be a cgi movie)".
Look at the first MK.It was great and wasnt that long.If you saw it when it first came out,you would agree,if not then i can see why you might not agree.
I think the old mk fans from the 90s know better cause they know what to expect.People now adays now just getting into mk,expect way to much.

If they movie is an abomination, a 3 hour time length would kill off the series altogether AND permanantly.
Generally close to 2 hours seems logical though...however...
Perhaps when it's released on DVD, it would be wize to include 3 hours of bonus material and added extras for the hardcore fanbase

the first was awsome but i wish they put more char the second was o.k they had a lot of the char but only lui and kitana were the same actors if they got all the action from the second and the same actors from the first then yes mk3 whould be worth a 3 hour movie.

3hrs?
I could sit through a 3hr MK film............
If it was excellent!!
they got the money but reasonably wise, hell naw man.
This should be Maybe 2 1/2 if that to prove to us they can make the damn thing right.
And then may be a follow up movie after that..
read the other threads on this first....... Statistics will help you understand.
