Guys check out Thomas Sheehan who we cast earlier this week as Jarek. This is not the official costume, but he did in fact wear this outfit to the audition. It was too funny and we just had to take a picture lol.

He definitely has a villainous voice down, and I think that if you tone down the laughter a bit (As cool as the laugh is, I never thought of Jarek - or Generek as I jokingly think of him - as having a particularly devious one.), he fits the part quite well. Also, I don't really mind the swearing that much, but I do think that his anger sounds a bit hokey at points. A little forced and unnatural, though I don't know any suggestions as how to remedy it.
I like the direction this project is going in, though I agree with some others about Havik lacking the sort of craziness you'd expect for him, and think his face should be somewhat grotesque given his appearance in the game. Otherwise, keep it up.

Casting and getting people to gain confidence in your project and your vision is not as easy as you think you know. You think people are going to just hop on the bandwagon of a MK fan pic? Out in the cold? And for no pay? For a director with no experience? I'm lucky I'm even finding people to be apart of this thing!

I'll say it,the girl who playing kitana looks transgender,yea i said it.

She also looks old,like in her 30s or something.You gotta get someone the is either 19-26 to play her or someone that looks that young.

There were other girls but the thing about Wendy is that she can really act. She also has a certain ethnic look to her, since Kitana is from Edinia, we did not want to go the unfortunate route that we had to go with Bo'Rai Cho. Acting comes before anything else in our book. Yes I know, its a shame that this isnt "America's Next Top Model" (roll eyes), but hey sue us for choosing talent over slutty eye candy lol. Besides Wendy is 30, barely that old considering Talisa Sota was around the same age during the other Mortal Kombat movies.

I mean if the person on the screen or monitor doesn't look good it will be hard as hell for people to keep watching.Looks matter in hollywood and in movies in general,just the way it is.

I know you wanna stick up for your actors and thats fine.But in movies looks come before talent and thats never going to change.

All I know is you got two actors who look like who their supposed to atleast to a point and you have like 3 that don't look like them from the games.And if kitana isn't going to be in her outfit in the movie then don't have her in at all cause she only wears one thing and shouldn't be in another outfit.I don't want to see someone on jeans and they be like kintaro lol hopefully you get my point.My thing is,if you can not make them look how their supposed to then don't have them in at all. Take linden ashby,dude the guy is just to old to play johnny cage now.Did you see him in RE:E?Just won't appeal to that many people and their not gonna like it.The only reason alot of people want him back is cause of the ones who grow up watching the first movie and it would bring back memories and just the feeling would be cool but hes just to old.


I could see her playing jade perheps and mileena only for the fact you wouldn't see her face other then her eyes.
