I like the movie idea. Seriously, I don't care what actor plays who... it's how good it will turn out is what I will like. And what I've read so far, other than the childish fight with Sonic, it will turn out good. CHEERS!

Anyway this is probably a fantasy but does the creator of this movie and Nar live near each other? Nar produces the best fan-made costumes Ive ever seen, and there's no denying he's got the bod to play an MK ninja. I personally would love to see him in action in this movie ...

I actually think the actress looks pretty close to Kitana as represented through the various media - she looks sort of like an amalgamation of the different versions of the character from over the years. And a 30 year old is actually rather fitting, because she has a mature, refined beauty to her (I couldn't take a 20 year old in the role as seriously.), and given that Kitana is a 10,000 year old Edenian, I think those features are fitting. I hope she does well in her role.

And please ignore Sonic there. I'm sorry you had to put up with that kind of attitude from a member of the community, because most of us aren't like that - as you could tell from the amount of members who were annoyed by his comments (I commend you guys for speaking up.). Guys good new. Kira was released from the hospital and will be fully recovering over the next few weeks. This has kind of pushed the release date back though. We should release near the end of March now.

Wendy (Kitana) will shoot her first scene on the 14th and undergo Fighting Fans and Sai training!

actually i think that mixed fights with bare hands+ weapon will rock.
however you have to be sure that Stryker will use his nightstick and Kira her knives.

I agree with Zentile. Scorpion with a sword doesn't feel right, even in the games. The reason being is when you think of Scorpion, you don't really associate him with a sword. It's not like Kitana/Mileena where their weapons are pretty much required, if you get me.

Also, don't know if this has been asked before, but can you estimate the runtime for the film upon completion?

To talk a little bit more about Scorpion and why I don't think he should have a sword, I never really liked him using weapons especially in MK4. I just always associated him with being an awesome hand to hand fighter, and a ninja. Ninjas are supposed to be stealthy and stuff, not carry huge ass blades with them.
I think it would just look really weird to see him in a sword fight, especially with that MK3 style costume he'll be wearing.

Yea I don't know about the weapons but I wouldn't mind if they were just wearing them.Far as using them I dunno really depends on who uses what you know?Scropion..ehh could go either way.He would look cool wearing it and maybe use it for a fatality???So its a hit or miss depends on how it works when they use it.

As long as he doesn't look transgendered while wearing the sword.

Wow, an hour and thirty minutes? Sorry I guess I missed it or forgot about it, damn that's pretty long for a fan movie. Well, awesome I guess! I was expecting a short film, like... forty five minutes to an hour or so. Great I really can't wait!

No problem guys any questions just ask. Yeah that fight scene was good I liked how choreo flowed together and the smooth transitioning. a good mix of technical camera skills and great choreography. Hopefully we will have another fight that we will post up on here. I would like to thank everyone who defended this film and everyone attached to this project. Im Offend someone would go out of their way to make the negative remarks he made. I think Wendy is a great choice for Kitana and I can't wait to film with her and the rest of the cast.

Will we see any wild catfights in this film?
