No one knows, it is a mystery right now, all that I know is that Liu Kang will not die

For all those just developing interest into the "developing" movie, Mortal Kombat Devastation, know that this movie as a very high possibilty of not happening. Although this movie was in very progressive stages last year: by assigning a director, Mink (the director of Into The Sun), and promising the return of skilled actors from the first movie such as Christopher Lambert, Linden Ashby, Robin Shou and Chris Casamassa, the very pre-production of the movie was haulted with the disaster of Hurrican Katrina. Threshold Entertainment, the company responsible for the creation of all of the MK movies including MK Devastation, had planned on and were in the stages of establishing a studio in Louisianna and at the same time filming MK Devastation. However, as the disastrous Hurricane Katrina struck Louisianna, the production of this movie was post-oned indefinately. The only official news concerning the production of this movie prior to this disaster had come from bits and pieces that were deduced from small interviews with Robin Shou and Linden Ashby, however, the primary source of information concerning the production of this movie came from Chris Casamassa, who genorously answered several fan mail questions concerning the movie. The last heard from Chris Casamassa was that production had indeed been post-poned due to Hurricane Katrina, but, filming was to begin again in January. It is May now, and no filming has occurred, and no news on production has been heard either. There is a very high that Threshold has given up on the production of Mortal Kombat Devastation.

As you can see, no one, including myself exactly know what the hell is going on. So, if any of you do, what's your sources for the info you attain. Whether it will or will not be made, is in production now, or is just post-poned until, whenever? Can we share good solid info please? I was under the impression that the movie was just post-poned in it's pre production stages, no filming done, nothing. Because of the hurricane situation of course. But if you don't know, and you just sayin shit.............................then................................................... ............................................................................................................................
