My Toys R Us has had them, they look like shit in person, especially Jax. I wouldn't hold your breath for the standard versions of them looking any better since Jax's problems are mostly in his sculpt.
Okay, so I went to TRU after work the other day, and let me say, I'm glad I'm not a Street Fighter fan. The Jazwares SF figs literally made me gag. I was considering picking up a Ken pack for the hell of it, but they were just so god awful. The MK figs were gold in comparison to this dung.
I know, right? When my store got them in I was all excited...and then I took a few steps closer. There aren't words for how godawful they are. They just look misshapen and badly proportioned, like someone tried really hard with Play-Doh and came oh so close.
I was all looking forward to having an epic MK vs SF display....but no, I can't be assed to drop a dime on those.

MK fans moan and bitch about everything lol Reptile and Jax look good -I own them and they're a sweet edition to my collection, just need more MK9 characters, move away from the ninjas for a bit and release some MK3 guys and it's about time we had a Quan Chi figure! with an endless amount of Scorpion/Sub Zero's it would make sense to add to they're playability by making they're no 1 enemy!!!

Hey Vash,
Did you see the SF pack with Vega? That's the only one I'll buy.
I still haven't seen the Reptile and Jax 2 pack, but Reptile looks kinda cool. I wish they would make some more MK9 characters, I'm done with ninjas right now. Bring on Kahn with his throne and some other baddies.
I was told that the arms fell off my shop's 4'' Sub-Zero while the owner was moving them around to give him a dynamic pose. He was able to put them back into place, but damn, you don't see this happening with GI Joes.
Be careful with these, people.

The more I read about these, the less I want them, and the more I feel sad

You talking about the 4" classics or 4" MK9?

Hey questions if you guys can help me out. Im trying to get every mk character if possble. I want ti get the 6" ones but seems like the 4" are getting more characters the 3 cyborgs, rain, noob, ermac, and now baraka. Do you think they will eventually have 6 and 4" of all of them or should i start migrating to the 4" figures. Honest opinions please.

Honestly, Jazwares right now reminds me of SOTA right before they went under with the SF figure line. Meaning, they have completely stopped any sort of update process, customer interaction, and churning out as many items as possible with abysmal QC.
Having said that, personally I'd pretend the 3 inch line doesn't exist. I got the cyber ninja 3 pack as a gift and they are gumball machine snap together figure quality. I think the praise they do get is just MK figure blue balls since there were so few before this, and never any cyber ninjas. The classic male ninjas are so miniscule they fade away on your shelf unless you are standing directly in front of them at 1 foot away or less. add to that the INSANE price tag and it's a no brainer to pass on them.
I'd hold out for more 6". Paint apps aren't bad, MK9 Sub-Zero is pretty good if you mod his face a bit, Scorpion is decent. Raiden I heard can be fixed with some modification to the neck. Cage is ass however. The classic 4 ninja pack is pretty solid. I had to repaint all the faces since my Sub-Zero was cross eyed, my Smoke had one eyeball, and the others had smears. If you can paint the faces then they are by far the best deal out right now. With Jax and Reptile confirmed there might be some hope, although I heard Jax looks like complete ass in his X-Ray form due to proportion issues, so the standard one will suck too then.

Went back to the store today to pick up my Marvel Universe Storm and Psylocke, there were a few more ninja 6-packs there, one of which had an Ermac whose right leg had come completely off at the knee.
The guy told me that every other package they had received was like that.
**Shakes head slowly in disbelief and wonder*

You already have that MU wave at your store? Sigh.
Yeah, the Klassic "ninja" aren't good. My Sub-Zero's elbow fell off just moving the arm. Thank God I'm using it for a custom.

There aren't enough words in the English language to express my sadness. At this rate we'll never get a decent Rain figure (one with articulation, I mean).

4 inch definitely. They're just better figures, with more characters, plus they fit in scale with all the Gi joe, Star Wars, and Marvel figures that are currently being released.

BBTS are sure taking a while to get in their 4'' ninja 6-pack and 6'' ninja 4-pack. I was going to wait until they got the latter in before I shipped my order, but I'm too impatient.
The box on its way to me at the moment contains the recent 4'' wave of MK9 figures, the Cyber-ninja box, UMK3 Scorpion, and for good measure, a dragon emblem t-shirt. Gonna be one happy puppy when that shows up (providing the figures don't fall apart when I unbox them).
