I have yet to see that the 4 inch MK2 ninjas were anything more than just UMK3 ninjas given the wrong label.

Apart from his face (which is somehow even uglier than Baraka really is), he looks okay. Still not sure if that is the 4" figure or 6" figure.

I'm not sure either. Toys R Us has both 6" and 4" figures for $15 now and they don't specify which is which anymore. Someone said it was definitely the 4", but in any case it looks a scared Uncle Fester with fangs.

Their body sculpts seem to be ok, but Jazwares needs to fire there head sculptor and whoever is in charge of the paint app machine. Cause that shit is just atrocious.

And yes, several members of this very board defend Jazwares. Personally I think it's just a case of MK figure blue balls. A shitty Cyrax is better than no Cyrax ever to some people. Jazwares is like the ugly fat chick who gives you your first blow job, it's not quite good, but it beats jacking off.

Wow....what a huge disappointment. They managed to make Baraka even more ugly than their last Baraka figure (MKD Baraka). I thought that was impossible.

Also, X-Ray Jax and Reptile have potential, but, the way they were executed in the face is just a total fail. I wonder how much worse they will look in standard editions.

The classic ninja pack looks awesome, but, judging from what EVERYONE is saying, they are actually very ugly up-close. Horrible paint job? WTF Jazwares!!

Even though I still want to see their Sonya, I kind of feel that I should prepare for the worst. I'm not so sure they should tackle her unless they make her in her alternate (less of a chance to screw up her face and hair, right?)....

Actually ToysRus has the 4 inch figures lited for $9.99, the exception being one Raiden with no picture that's the same price as the already listed 6 inch one. I'm not sure what that one is, but once we Get a picture I'm sure things will be cleared up. And yes, that baraka is definitely 4 inches, as it's packages in the 4 inch box. It also looks like they have a different sculptor for the 4 inch MK9 figures than the 6 inch onesm, and apart from Baraka, that man seems to know what he's doing, so...

We can all do our part by not purchasing that stupid plastic-looking 2-pack and waiting for them to cough up the real goods. They've tried this shit before with MKD Sub-Zero, and recently, a translucent Raiden figure. They never sell, so I wonder why they even bother.

BBTS finally processed my Cyber-ninjas order. I'm going to get an extra box and paint one of them proper indigo, because as far as I'm concerned (and as discussed previously) Smoke looks more like CSZ. Probably paint the other two grey as backup drones. Grey backup drones in MK3 garb that never existed, lolz.

Also, still chuckling at the "MK1 smoke" in that 6'' set, but loving it anyway. Surprised it wasn't Ermac instead. Not complaining, however. Maybe I'll get a second box of those too...whip up an Ermac, Rain, and Noob w/shadow clone....or Chameleon if I'm feeling adventurous.

I wish the generic Lin Kuei cyborgs had used the MK3 outfit. It's strange seeing a bunch of grey Sektor and Cyrax clones in the cutscenes.

Jax and Reptile X-ray looks pretty cool if you ask me and hopefully we'll get to see Sonya Blade soon... I think they should throw in at least one MK3 guy in each wave so that we don't have to painfully wait for all of the MK1 and 2 figures to be made all over again- because by then with a new game out in 2013 and only releasing 4 different 6 inch mk9 characters per year out of a 27 character roster it's a safe bet the mk9 line will get cancelled before we get any of the figures we've been dying to get for years eg- QUAN CHI-STRYKER-NIGHTWOLF/KABAL/SINDEL ETC JOE AMARO- PLEASE MAKE QUAN CHI!!!

Y'know, I've noticed none of the TRUs I go to carry more than one of the multi packs. They've either had the UMK3 6 pack or the MK1 4 pack. I still haven't found the Cyborgs.

I would be super duper fantastic if everyone in this thread could combine their brains for a bit and make a list of all of the figures announced/released so far.

Jazwares are working on Sonya Blade and they hinted at Shao Kahn on their Face book page, Jax and Reptile X-ray is due out in Feb/March 2012 and looks really cool

I saw the 4" MK3 ninjas today. 12 pegs worth of ninjas and only 2 Noobs, guess he's the 1 per case? Even in person $10 for them is just WAY too much.

I might reconsider the classic ninja 4 pack after seeing it in person though. Yes, this is an actual compliment from me about a Jazwares product! I will add though that I'd have to repaint the faces myself, so they are still shit to anyone unfortunate enough not to have any modeling/painting skills.

Nice to see Jazwares has finally started making the MK figures they promised fans. From what I heard about the Shao Kahn rumor, is that it's a throne. I imagine that he will be packaged with the throne, otherwise it would be a dumbass idea. Should make for some great displays. Maybe the chair will have a couple voice phrases ;)
I still am really hoping we get some females mixed in there. Considering Mileena, Kitana, and Jade all wear masks it shouldn't be too hard to produce. I'm a bit scared to see what Sonya will look like though.

Toys R Us by me got the Jax/Reptile X-Ray pack in for those who were curious when it was coming out. It looks like an even bigger pile of shit in person and as expected, overpriced.

Got the ninja 6-pack. Quality is sure as hell frigging varied; Noob is almost perfect, while my shop owner let me swap my Ermac with one he was putting on display because mine had this big teardrop effect on the mask that was flesh-colored under his eye.

And my god, is the skin paint ever sloppy on the shoulder joints. When you move them around paint flakes off the hinges, which shouldn't have been painted over anyway. Too much came off when I moved Smoke's right arm, so there's now a very noticeable raised section of paint back there. Plus, when I got back home, I noticed white paint splotches on his upper thighs and ass (considering how much I kiss Smoke's ass, that's unnacceptable). I'll be swapping him too today if I can.

Moral: If you buy these, look very carefully at every box available to ensure you get the best possible set. And when they're out, mind the arms.

Need camera to perform full reviews, along with the 6'' guys. Pending.
