Someone managed to find the 4" MK9 Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

I found some.Pretty cool I can say a bit nicer than the 6 inch ones.But dammit I still want the MK3 ones.

I bought the 3 3/4" MK9 Scorpion and Sub-Zero today. I'm happy with them. If only there were way more characters :(

So apparently there's a 4-pack of 6" MK1 ninjas (Scorpion, Reptile, Sub-Zero and Smoke). When was this announced?

The Toys R Us by me has them, they look awful, like 6" Sub-Zero face awful. The set is also a whopping $50 plus tax for these stinkers. I suppose they aren't as bad as the X-Ray Reptile and Jax though. Have you seen the pics of those yet? Awful...just god awful. Jazwares was probably the worst possible company to acquire this esteemed license.

Thanks for the pic. They do look rather boring. I'd rather have them as normal-looking figures. Jax's arms and legs also look a bit skinny.

Apparently they come with a skull head for Scorpion, a reptile head for, uh...Smoke, I think he's called...and Friendship dolls.

@ I want the Scorpion and Sub-Zero. No to Raiden and Cage's head model makes him look like a bigger douche.
@ the four retro ninjas. I don't like the head models.
@ the X-Ray, they look cool, but these are more of something you'll just sit on a shelf or something and never use.

Wow. Okay. So the retro ninja pack is now going to be the actual MK1 retro style. I have questions for Jazwares now:

1 - What happened to the UMK3 ninjas? Weren't those supposed to be the retros? I suppose if the entire mold was scrapped, the lack of news over the past few months makes sense...I guess...

2 - What's with the Donkey Kong arms?

3 - Did you seriously mis-pose Reptile in that pic so his shin-guards are in the back? Looking at Smoke's kilted off to the side, maybe it's intentional to get a good look at the shins all the way around. I hope it was.

3 - X-Ray Reptile and Jax....WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? Seriously, you have an opportunity to finally give Jax his first good figure in....ever...and you do this?

Do the words "Cold Snap Sub-Zero" not ring any bells, Jazwares? The translucent blue MKD Sub repaint nobody ever, ever purchased? Nobody is going to buy this pack. I know I'm not. There'd better be normal repaints down the road.

The UMK3 packs were released, I bought like 5 of them for myself and others. They are 4 inch, the MK1 retro pack is 6 inch

They made new figure announcements recently. The following will be released in wave 2:

-Scorpion and Sub Zero re-released with normal Reptile and Jax (6 inch)
-4 inch versions of Baraka, Raiden and Reptile

I actually picked up that 6" Ninja pack today. The MK9 Retro outfits are a Toys R Us Exclusive!


I know they aren't the best sculpts out there, but I wouldn't pass these up. As ugly as Jazwares products are, they really hold there value. The interchangeable heads and mystery accessories are interesting as well.

Ahh. Thanks for clearing that up, Vash. I'm still in the dark as my local shop hasn't received a damned thing ever since the Scorpion/Sub/Raiden/Cage wave. They even got the Street Fighter figures in last week with no notice whatsoever.

A TRU exclusive? Frag. That pretty much kills any possibility of them showing up where I live. I'm gonna have to go hunting.

Just so people know, the 3 inch cyber ninja 3 pack is total balls. The quality is gum ball machine snap together figure quality and I sincerely believe all the praise they are getting is simply MK action figure blue balls. I got the set as a gift and I still feel ripped off.

Jazwares was kind enough to grace us with their presence on facebook, they hinted at a Shao Kahn thrown but did not mention any scale or if Kahn himself will be made. It doesn't help when you have total contempt for your customers and then have the balls to charge outrageous prices for mediocre to bad quality products. Why WB/NRS agreed to let these amateurs represent their flagship franchise is beyond me.

Thanks for the updates, Vash. It's good to know Reptile is getting a normal release. I'd be happy about Jax, but his skinny limbs annoy me.

BBTS just got their preorders up for the 4'' six-pack and the 6'' four-pack (that's very fun to say).

Noob's colors look a lot closer to N64 MK Trilogy, from what I can tell by squinting.

Is it me, or are these toys nowhere to be found in a simple super market. And why the hell are they so expensive?

The Toys R Us by me has literally an entire wall of nothing but Jazwares products, half of which are MK figures. $15 isn't a lot for an action figure....a good action figure that is. These are $5 Chinese knock off quality at best, yet they are indeed the legit product. I'd love to know who at WB/NRS saw these sculpts and approved them before they went into production.

Pretty sure they only mentioned a 4 inch Baraka, so unless there's a source stating it's 6, I don't believe it is.

Also, found a crapload of the Retro Ninja 4 pack yesterday, but they were all so horridly painted.

The Retro ninja 4 actually look pretty cool. Gonna pick them up after Christmas.

Afew of the Toys R Us stores in south FL have the retro ninja 4 pack. And despite how much i hate Jazwares & their horrid products, I couldn't pass these guys up.
Im still on the hunt for the 6 pack & the 4 inch Sub-Zero (Klassic & MK9), while i still have hopes that an MK 9 Noob & Ermac will see a normal release.

Hm so it looks like the mk2 classic ninjas have finally been released? I preordered the ermac from that series back in april and its release date has been pushed back about 3 times:( Now it appears these are available in stores now and bigbadtoystore still hasnt shipped my ermac. My MK figure collection has grown so much in the last year that I am kinda not even concerned with these anymore especially when my customs are all better then the current jazwares mk lines
