Anyone could play Baraka. ANYONE. He's a 1-dimensional character whose lines would be composed of grunts and growls. But, I will say that Vin Diesal is too muscular to play Baraka. A stunt-person would probably be the best, and cheapest, actor for the role.....And the face would have to be CGI.

Im a girl and I dont find him hot, If he played Baraka I would be on the floor laughing to death.

He's already played a shade of Baraka's character in the Riddick movies. He would just have to be more dramatic movement wise in the actuall role.

Well he certainly does look the part already enough. But being serious he wouldn't be good. In addition to him surely using up half the budget with his asking pay and using his star power to make the movie based on his own character he just wouldn't be right because he's one of those actors that plays himself. Not like Anthony Hopkins where he plays himself playing a character, no but he just plays himself. The badass. He brings his badass self to the character and that's what he does. I don't think he's capable of portraying Baraka as the monster he is. And also for wearing a leather kilt he can go to hell.
