This one took a lot of researching, but as you can see I did my homework. These were the best actors and actresses that I've come across for the best Mortal Kombat Movie to make. I can only hope that they take time to read these posts and at least put some of them into concideration. This is just a dream list for me, but if they want to make a good movie mortal kombat movie, this is what I'd recommend, directors, actors, actresses, and producers. In all seriousness, they need to get with the program and stop fuckin' with us and give us what we want to see.

One thing about your list in comparison to mine so far though. You got a sicc roster for a martial arts movie. Some of the ones I wasn't familiar with I looked up myself, and I gotta admit, Dolf is not only a martial artist flexible and young enough to play Raiden, but My dude, he looks Just like they draw him. Bigg Upps on my Fav Character.

One ?? about Dolph though. He has a respectable voice, but what about the Accent?

Another one I agreed with all the way was Eboni Adams as Jade. Muthafuckas forget Jade has a "black" persons skintone, not asian (no offense to an-y-bod-y at all) and she's portrayed as a young, secret defender for Sindell. There ain't nobody else to play this part but her. I was sleepin on her. Yea I'll admitt it, but just like everybody else.

Oh: For anybody else readin this and don't know who Eboni Adams is--Blade II--the little vampire girl who gives Blade the bizzness. Ahhh!

I applaude this choice because it's good and it surprised me.

Thanks for the hit, and one correction. Eboni Adams was in Blade 1, not 2. But I appreciate it though. One other thing about Eboni... at the time of that shot in the movie, she was 15. BLADE came out in 1998. Since the movie is damn there 10 years old, she is well old enough to play as a character such as Jade, for the character was young and fierce. I just wanted to point that out before people start saying that "she's too young." Dolph Lundgren really doesn't have an accent. I think you're thinking of when he was playing Ivan Drago in ROCKY IV. He had to portray a Russian accent. But he really doesn't have one. Watch the movie "Showdown In Little Tokyo" (The movie where most of the Mortal Kombat saga spawned from) and you'll see what I'm talking about.

On a personal note...Lawrence Kasannoff proced to MK movies and they werent that good, I hope someone else will produce it, we need big changes in MK or we'll have the same shit over and over again.

Now, so everyone understands some of the choices. Some of my selections were made on the fact they the actor/tress portrayed, looks like, can actually fight, or won't actually fight in a film like this. I'm not really that savvy Director wise so, I picked movies that had qualities that I liked. Like martial arts, computer graphics, action, or design. For instance The Lord of the Rings ploy is only directed at how they made the big huge beasts look and move (a.k.a. Moloch completly C.G.). The Narnia ploy is only directed at how they did a Centaur or fictitious creature(a.k.a. Motaro or the Shokan races). The Blade ploy is directed at how they burned a corpse or costume intinuity(a.k.a. burn Fatalities or Costume detail). Fuck everything else about any-one of the films.

The other shit you can disagree with and I will understand. Can't fight, wrong style of fighting, whatever.
I personally think we need some actual pure actors that don't really have a "fight" scene to make the shit more beliveable. Cuz the script/ "actors" in the last movies were not "the shit" either. Keep the fighters'-- Fighting (mouth shut mostly) and let the actors--Act (act the story) I don't care what Liu Kang is gonna say really, I wanna see some fireballz/ kicks ect. So, some of them I chose for looks and acting skills, some can act and fight, and some can just fight.
One more thing, anybody with a mask I pretty much left out cuz they are the right people for the characters they played. They just needed a better choreogragher, better fights and shit IMO. Who else but Cassamasa for Scorpion? You know. Also, this is not in Cast form. As you can tell there's way too many kharaters for this movie to get the point across. I just did it anyway cuz it was fun.

You know somethin', dude, you're on to something... you've put actors and actresses in your list that I TOTALLY forgotten, like Tia Carerre...! Some of them I don't recognize myself. Did you look these folks up on IMDB.COM like I did? In any rate, you got folks in your list that I have in mine, so you see where I'm goin' with it... But your roster is pretty sick as well.

They came from multiple sites including IMBD. Random searches were a couple(like #17 David Midthunder as Nightwolf), and then some were just from movies that I have bought or just remember a quality about.
The idea, for me is to let the person do whatever is natural to them, you know, not try to force say a.......... Jennifer Love Hewwit into Sonya's character. Never happen. She can't do it and, it would be "Out...of...Character"(pun) for them.

I forgot one small thing though, Batman Begins: The ploy is aimed at how they formed the Brothers of the shadow at the end of Batman's trainning under Rahs Al Goule. Also, Christian Bale could posibily fit somewhere. Maybe as a Brother of the Shadow--- cuz he's already played that role rather well.
You see, It's all relative to the actors/tresses past work and natural capability to portray one of our Kharacters. Or there look and abillity to fight......or whatever.
