Holy crap...she's not in high heels! I was so distracted by how awesome it looks that I didn't even notice she's not in high heels! Praise be to the Netherrealm Studio for they have seen the light!

Im all for classics and this render does look very nice. Im definitely way more excited to play as everyone in their new costumes. They had these costumes in the classic games, so I feel like I have already played with them in this look and its time to move on to bigger and better things. There was a time and place for these costumes and it was 1996. I do like the retro feature though, I most likely wont be spending any money on anyone's retro costumes. Also, notice how much better they look in high heels.

The Official MK Twitter confirmed (ages ago) that the male ninjas would not be the only ninjas with pallet-swap retro costumes.

That was around the time when the little picture of Jade was revealed, so, I think its a given that both Mileena and Kitana will get this outfit as well.

Which is awesome because it will look great on both (and much much better on Kitana for sure).
