Kitana's new look is awesome. I really hope that Kitana has the pixie dust teleport like she had in MK Armageddon and MKvsDC. People say Kitana's new costume is a rip off of Jade's and Mileena's from MK Deception, but there is little they can do short of just having them all wear complete dresses, The long loin cloth is a good choice I think, except it should be front and back, not just front. I hope Jade's costume is similar to Kitana's, since they are both Edenian royalty. I cannot wait to see how they reinvent Jade and Sindel this time, they did an awesome job in Deception. I cant wait to see them in this game. And people who said Kitana's princess attire doesnt suit her well, C'mon, she is a princess, she needs to have a costume showing that, Her alternate costume will no doubt be a more ninja style costume.

First of all, Jade is not Edenian royalty. She is just best friends with Kitana and a trained Outworld assassin like her, but she does not have blue blood running in her veins for all we know. Her past has never been explained, but nothing tells she is royal.

And second, at this time around where the upcoming MK title is set (MK1-3), Kitana is still an assassin for Shao Kahn and has yet to claim her title as the princess of Edenia, so having her dress like a princess would be "historically" incorrect. Of course, we have yet to see what Raiden has up his sleeve, so maybe he has given Kitana a push in the right direction much earlier this time which had her rebel against Kahn sooner than expected.

I can't wait to see how Jade and Sindel will appear like either, mostly Jade of course ^^ However, I do not want Jade to appear like Kitana does. I'd be happy to see Jade be represented as an assassin rather than just another pretty Edenian warrior. But I believe they will do both, one as her main outfit, the other as her alt, like they have in previous games.

As for Sindel, I hope the whole gothic banshee queen look will be the style of choice for her as well as the bride of Shao Kahn... Wait, I just had a crazy thought! What if Sindel chooses to stay with Shao Kahn this time instead of helping Kitana freeing Edenia? Will Kitana then accept her role as a princess for Outworld and keep Edenia merged with Outworld? What if Kitana accepts Shao Kahn as her "father"? Now that would be a plot twist!

Well Kitana is technically still a princess during this time just of Outworld and not Edenia. So who knows how a princess of Outworld would dress. If Shao Kahn does have some real affection for Kitana than it could make sense that he'd give her some "pretty" albeit revealing attire.

The only variation of the female assassin outfit we haven't seen is the Kitana MKDA/Jade alt MKD version so Jade will probably be in that one. Or at least that's what I'm hoping since that's my favorite look for her.

Except that Kahn doesn't run things like that. His daughters don't get crowns, thrones, and dresses, they get sent to ninja camp to learn how to kill like everybody else.

I agree with this. While the the best days of Mortal Kombat were when Tobias was on the team, he didn't do anything for the series that makes me feel that he is the God of MK that people make him out to be.

After John Tobias left the MK team, the characters actually started to develop into individual persons instead of being mere palette swaps. So there you go.

His own game Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus failed miserably and we haven't heard from him since. And I think it is for the best, actually. Mortal Kombat has really prospered and evolved nicely in the past couple of titles in my opinion and I love that they are now going back to be a 2D gameplay title.

Back on topic... after all that talk there's been about that image of a leg, I am getting my hopes up that it might be Jade, but having changed the colour into red simpl to throw us off... but the more I look at it, I start to believe that it couldn't be Jade. The style of it simply seems more like Sindel to me, or maybe Sareena. There's even been talk about it being the rumoured Skarlet character, but that would mean Jade's chances of returning is becoming slimmer which would really disappoint me.

Lately I have noticed that Jade actually has a solid fanbase which nurtured my hope for her returnance in the upcoming title, but I'm starting to realize that she could just as easily be cut out because she is one of the lesser popular characters. So I am crossing fingers, toes and all other limbs that can be crossed for Jade to return!

Jade has always been the best MK Female imo since MK2. If a shitty character like Sindel makes it in but not Jade.... whatev....

I'd hardly call Sindel a shitty character. She's one of the best females in MK IMO. She's vital to MK3's story and has a unique look and moves.

I just basically disagree. I think she is a shitty character with no story. I wouldnt say she played a vital part in MK3. And Ive always thought she looked horrible in games. Kool in concept art, but just terrible in game imo. And her moves.... I wouldn't call them unique. The kool thing about her was her flying in MK3. Besides that yea her other moves were fine, but weren't original in the way that her scream is like Kitanas fan lift.

Yeah Sindel has always seemed like a pointless character to me basically.

Her ressurection was the reason Shao Kahn could invade Earthrealm in MK3. Without her there is no MK3 FACT.

Her scream differed in delivery and effect. Kitana's fan lifts the opponent allowing for juggle combos whilst Sindel's scream stuns and drags the opponent towards her. She had her purple fire balls, hair throw and levitate which are all unque to her.

I've always loved her possesed look and style.

Exactly, Kitana was the Princess of Outworld at this time. Shao Khan is the emperor of Outworld, Why wouldnt his daughter be princess. Yes she was a trained fighter and assassin, but also the emperor's daughter, if she wasnt, she wouldnt be in Mortal Kombat to begin with. Maybe thats why Mileena hates Kitana so much, Kitana always got to be princess growing up and Mileena was the red headed step child.

Kitana is totally the best female :P I've always loved her back story, although Mileena is pretty kick ass too. Those teeth...

People who love WOlverine, Scorpion, Sub-Zero Spiderman and Batman will vote for Kitana.

People who love Mystique, Baraka, Kabal, Electro and POison Ivy will vote for Mileena.

That is the way, and so it will always be.

I love Scorpion, Wolverine, Spiderman and Batman and i will NEVER vote for Kitana. She's the shittiest MK feamle in my opinion.
