Yeah, I could buy that for sure. I wish I could be more enthused about this though; if it's a separate character, it likely goes back to UMK3 gameplay, and I really, really want that left in the past, fun as it was at the time. He's become so good now. He's his own character.

In any case, I look forward to seeing what he looks like. I've loved all the cyber designs so far. If it's a skin, I think a likely partner would be unmasked MK3 sub.

Technical issues or no technical issues, lame characters or not lame characters... Motaro, Chameleon and Khameleon are still missing. As is an unmasked Sub-Zero if we really want to nitpick. (Though Cyber Sub-Zero somewhat fills his void). And those three other bosses who aren't playable... technically...

Say what you will about Chameleon as a complete/incomplete character... but Khameleon was ON the select screen. She had a bio. She had an ending. She WAS a real character, albeit a lame one.

And just because she was lame, doesn't mean she never existed.

Heck we don't even technically have a complete UMK3 roster, because Motaro and Kahn were playable in the console versions... and there's still the Sub-Zero thing.

At best we have an arcade only UMK3 roster, if we overlook Sub-Zero. (And if we were overlooking a variant Sub-Zero, I can't see why we wouldn't also be overlooking the variant Smoke, thus making this whole conversation pointless.)

In any case, there are still loads of missing pieces toward an MKT roster.

Note: I'm not SAYING I demand Motaro, Khameleon and Chameleon... I'm just saying... like them or hate them, they were part of MKT, and they're not playable or fightable in this game.

If the final skin pack was Cyber Smoke and Unmasked Subby I would shit bricks.

if that ermacmk5 guy is right by saying the 4th dlc character was somehow mentioned in the game then it cant be c.smoke since he was never mentioned (to my knowledge)

Exactly. The specials that involved using the ropes to move in the 3D games were done poorly because of the 3D plane. They could be so amazing to get close to or pull away from an opponent in this game.
