-Tom Brady apparently confirmed on his twitter - weeks ago - that Cyber-Smoke was a SKIN, not a character. Only place we're getting character confirmation is from ErmacMK5 and J-R.

Could someone sell me who Tom Brady is and where all this information related to him is coming from? What did he say exactly?

There's no "technincally" about it. Cyber Smoke WAS in Story Mode, because he's the same damn person as Human Smoke.

i think its pretty sad that people are willing to take the same character for a dlc even though he is in the game but as a human.

i mean seriously is robot smoke more important than others like blaze who in fact is the reason for this whole back to the future timeline? what makes robot smoke more speacial then him or someone like any of the elder gods who had a say in the rules of the mk tournament?

Um... Blaze was certainly not the reason for this story mode. It was Kahn winning Armageddon.

Whoa. WHo said anything about more important? we got 2 choices: 1. play the character or 2. don't play the character. Its not like NRS will retract the character and try a new one if we tell them there should be a more important character. This is a done deal, nothing is changing.

Its sad we'll take it? Yea its a damn shame I wanna play the content they make. No one here had a hand in the decision if it is in fact Cyber Smoke, so theres no use blaming anyone here.

Blaze has nothing to do with the creation of Armageddon. He was to only wake up Taven and Daegon once Armageddon started. The ones who basically started Armageddon were all of the fighters, who grew too powerful and started fighting each other. Blaze was only meant to have one of the two Edenain brothers, Taven or Daegon, destroy him so they can end Armageddon once and for all. He had a big role, but he did not create Armageddon.

He deserves yo be there because he was in UMK3.

I'd say it's pretty likely it's him because of the above reason and....

Final Legacy episode at same event features blue/purple robot character,

Was mentioned as possible DLC on boons twitter around launch,

Was seen in flashback of story mode, it was just a pallete swap of sektor but the character was featured nonetheless,

Certainly enough reasons to call him a frontrunner.

Either the Convention or the reveal of the mystery character starts at 7pm. Lots of time to ponder. No need to pull an all-nighter. Cyber Smoke should only be a skin, not a full fledged character (save for MK10). If we do indeed get the skin, I prolly won't use him because he'll have *Gay* moves except for the tele-punch and smoke bomb. Not to forget the horrible Tremor and Smoke Out Fatalities.

The fourth character is Evil Steve Beran.

Please, NO Cyber-Smoke (I love his new MKD look, but please, NO) and NO Reiko (and of course, NO Shinnok). Oh, and NO Fujin (or Tremor. Urgh). C'mon NRS, you do it pretty well with Skarlet, Kenshi and Rain. Don't fuck now
