I'm going with UMK3 Sub-zero and Scorpion. Mainly because they're popular enough to get the people who don't want Krueger to buy the compatibility pack at least.

Actually, no, I would simply like the option NOT to have guest characters in the game. Not just to not play them if I'm not in the mood... but also to keep them from appearing in the arcade ladders.



Oh wow... arcade ladder... never even occured to me...

Before now I was thinking (Since I already bought the season pass and all) I'd download him, see what he's all about for about 10 minutes, then just leave him there untouched forever...

But if he's popping up in my arcade ladder, I may actually have to delete him, and just download the compatability pack.

When you get the first three compatability packs, do Skarlet, Kenshi and Rain show up in your arcade ladder?

This is really good for the Freddy fans.

I really don't like it though. I don't plan on buying him and if he were free he'd be my new punching bag.

I am not trying to knock on anyone who likes this, but I just wish the time spent on making Freddy was spent on an MK character. But oh well, it is a nice marketing ploy.

if you guys don't want do deal with Freddy at all, just don't download the compatibility pack, that's what i'm doing. i don't care if i'm not letting you play a character you bought, because i don't want the game i purchased to be ruined. & if the compatibility pack has UMK3 scorpion & sub-zero that's even better, because i only use the females. wink

All this fighting reminds me of the dark days when Dragon Age 2 was released on the Bioware Forums. Man that was a terrible time. At least here the outrage is limited in this thread and some good things come here like unmasked Sub-Zero. Before you ask, yes I'm taking any opportunity to bash the Bioware forums. Sad but true.
