I am being melodramatic on purpose, trying to express my loathing for this announcement and those who support it. But all in all, I can just choose not to buy him. And believe me, I won't.

In all honesty though, I'm happy for those who like Freddy Krueger and gets to play as him in their favourite fighting game. I just lost alot of respect for you for applauding this. Not because it is Freddy Krueger, but because it isn't a Mortal Kombat character, and you support the idea of yet another guest character.

I'm sorry, but that is just how I feel.

This is GREAT news, as a horror fan! Freddy is PERFECT for Mortal Kombat. He exists in multiple realms already, so his story will make sense.

What I'm most excited about isn't playing as him - but playing AGAINST him. Why? Because ever since I was a little kid, I've wanted to be able to play as Alice (the Dream Master in the NOES series) in a video game. And now I can finally do that via Sonya!! It's going to be so cool...

As I said several dozen posts ago, as stupid as I find Freddy Krueger in Mortal Kombat... I find the idea of adorable baby Freddy Krueger double-stupid.

Freddy performing a Babality however... wouldn't yield any results any different than any of the Bablities we currently have.

You did not read that right. I have no problem with people being fans of Freddy Krueger. I have a problem with them supporting non-MK characters into an MK game, such as Freddy Krueger.

Actually, no, I would simply like the option NOT to have guest characters in the game. Not just to not play them if I'm not in the mood... but also to keep them from appearing in the arcade ladders.
