So wait a minute... after reading a page about how certain users are looking down users who actually support this character, I guess I'm being looked down from others aren't I?

It's bad enough that people don't like guest characters in this game, and funny thing is, no one is forcing you to buy this character if you hate him that much. But to go out on a limb and say "I have no respect for users who are liking this decision of the fourth DLC," I find that to be more stupid than those who are saying they are giving up on this series completely over this guy.

I cannot believe some of the comments being said on here, especially from users who I have respect for. After reading some of your comments, I am finding less and less reasons to have some respect for you. That is just utterly shameful to say, especially over one character who some people happen to like.

So, he's replacing a character's spot who deserves it more than Freddy, but the way I see it, no other character is more important than the other. My favorite character only makes a slight appearance as a background character and as a mugshot when Cyborg Sub-Zero is scanning through. That's it, am I pissed off that someone took her spot? No, becuase she never had a spot reserved for her in the first place, and neither do the other characters of the series as well.

I suggest this nonstop whining and bitching should seriously come to a sudden halt soon, though who am I to ask because no one listens to people on here anyways, but seriously, a lot of you are starting to act like a whiny seven year old who just got grounded from playing too much Warcraft. Get a hold of yourselves and stop being so goddamn ignorant all becuase some people happen to like this character.

Don't like that they do, then keep that kind of opinion to yourselves and not out loud. Because ignorance is something I totally cannot stand seeing from certain users, especially from the ones who I once had respect for.

Fucking tearful kind of a post don't you think?

It's not that I don't support the idea of another MK character, it's the fact that I've always dreamed of using Freddy Krueger and Jason in a Mortal Kombat game. Why does it bother so many people?

He's a COOL guest character, not just a crappy throw in like Kratos. This is something people have been dreaming about for 15+ years. You can't be happy for them because of one crappy remake of a movie? That's ridiculous.

Maybe you weren't old enough fathom the notion, but this is a dream come true for me, despite wanting Reiko or Mavado badly. But don't get me wrong, I'd HATE pretty much ANY other guest character, this is just an excellent choice, I believe.

I think this falls under the "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything" category. No inflammatory remarks, no skulls. It's a simple formula.

I don't care about titles like that. The title "God" doesn't make them a god, it just means they can do some things on this forum that others cannot. And seriously, it's just an unofficial gaming forum for MK fans. I like being here, but I won't treat someone with respect just because they have the title "God" printed on their foreheads.

Forgetting the crappy fact that they passed over 30 Mk characters and a few rumor characters (Tremor, Nimbus, etc.) ...Why do Freddy ?


Don't get me wrong, grew up with and love the movies but every time he's not in the dream world he's a total bitch. Lost EVERY time...in EVERY movie.
Lost to Jason as well.
Even counting the teasers at the end of the films, which are more like him saying well I lost but I'm still alive Ha Ha ! Can't win against teen girls but gonna beat the MK cast sounds pretty dumb to me.

Of course maybe they are all asleep and then it makes sense.....LOL !

As WTF as it is, I actually respect this entry a lot more than Kratos. At least Freddy Kruger has some spirit behind him. A similar tongue-in-cheek character to the MK mythos that, although still smelling of corporate shilling, makes you lol instead of eyeroll.

The only part that really bothers me is that it isn't Robert Englund. I want his wisecracks in the game.

You know, it's one thing to joke about it, then there's just being a complete fool and an idiot and thinking it's funny when it's really not at all. Try finding a more mature way to ask someone if they're mad, not using the ole "oh you're angry, so your blood is flowing out of your twat, boobs are swollen and you're feeling quite blooted as well, you's mad!"

All the characters look awesome from the trailers. Little early to be talking about if he's good or bad.....moves look cool though...fatalities less so IMO.

This. As much as some of you hate Freddy (I would've preferred Havik or Hotaru) can't we just get along with the people who like Freddy?
