I have a couple threads on the Fan Submissions board where I've been working my way through redesigning (well...more "updating", nothing radical, I take the Shaolin Monks approach of sticking to continuity and trying to make the older designs match DA and Deception) the whole series. I've done primary and alt costumes for the MK1 cast and I'm 10 characters deep into the MK2 roster.

It's been a while since I updated, though. I haven't been in the mood to draw anything new for the past couple months. The muse comes and goes like that.

We finally get an attractive woman in a MK game, about time! She looks so fappable, they shoud release this game in Japan so we could get awesome Jade hentai.

I can't wait to see a HD render of goro's lair.

I like it I wish the jade in mk9 had darker skin every 1 is pretty much white lol

Jade is darker skinned in the new game, its just the reflection on the picture that makes her appear lighter, I mean really, how have we not gotten high res scans by now, every youtube has the same crappy quality pictures and we can barely tell what Jade looks like.

I have noticed that as well. I hope you are right that it's simply the bad quality of the pictures that makes her look light-skinned. I would hate it if she was suddenly caucasian. However, I do want her hair to look hazel-brown coloured like her MK2 arcade version.

I totally feel you man. The muse is fickle. I love it, though! Your characters would REALLY pop if you add variation of tone and stuff in the characters' skins. I was looking at them and noticed that the skin has one color and not really undertones and light and dark. That's just my small little preference, I guess would be the word. If that's just your style then don't change a thing!Awesome stuff!

@Jadedraven: I also love that picture of Jade you posted. I wouldn't mind her costume as that at all and I like her skin tone. It goes with the green nicely Actually, upon closer inspection it looks almost identical to her top half in the image we've seen. Her legs seem to have black boots though.

I also love the fact that the three girls seem to have different coloured edges on their costumes. Mileena has black edges, Kitana has silver edges, and Jade has golden ones (though it appears like Jade also has some black edges). I wonder what shade of green she is going to have. I don't want the bright green like her MK2 outfit, but the green on her MKD outfit seemed too dim. I loved the green on her MKD alternate outfit though. It was the perfect shade of green in my opinion. ^^

Yes. I think it should stay as some kind of forest green! A deep, dark kind of green was good on her. I actually thought the green on her Deception primary was gorgeous though. It was emerald in some sections and deep and dark in others. Wow, I just had a really gay moment.

I'm not sure what to think of Jade's appearance right now. Not without a decent picture that shows her entire outfit.

I've always thought of Jade as being the tomboy of the 3 ninja girls. But with the long sleek hair covering her eye like that... she seems so royal right now. It's not really what I was expecting. So bring on more footage so I can get a better look at what she's wearing.

so i just got my game informer in the mail and it has nothing about MK in it. can someone tell me what page its supposed to be on because i flipped through every page and nothing. unless im completely blind there is not one mention of it.

What's the date on the issue you have?

Well, Does the magazine you have include the elder scrolls and Silent hill articles?

If not, then It doesn't sound like you have the right issue

I noticed that also, i mean im not racist but it seems as if almost every black character on here (jax, Jade, Ermac) has undergone plastic surgery and became lighter, jax was darker now he's really light, jade, and ermac because in mk trilogy ermac was much darker than he is now

the issue dates Jan 2011. and yes it has elder scrolls V towards the end. Tomb raider on the cover EDIT: it only mentions elder scrolls 5 but does not have an article about it and nothing on silent hill. guess its the wrong one.

My guess is that you need the Feb issue... which is usually released in Jan. The one you want has Skyrim on the cover.

Got my issue In and this is what I have to say:

Goro doesn't seem to look as good as his Solo render we saw a couple months back. He is very large though. But he crouches down a bit and it makes him seem smaller. He also seems to have that dragon scale ass back. His projectile looks like a fire green meteor. But the best part of Goro is his Dungeon. Very dark and gritty looking. His throne sits in the dungeon. I cant wait to face Goro. The dungeon has skeletons hanging off the wall. The two ONI locked up look similar to the Predator and the abominable snowman.

Jade looks delicious. Her costume is very revealing but the Gold chain wrapped around her waist and thighs is pretty cool. Not much gameplay screens on her but she us seen fighting Kitana on the rooftop and her staff might be in that pic. My only problem with her is her light skin color. I was hoping for a more Brazilian flesh color. If Tanya is in I'm sure they make her to be darker looking.

If the picture I've seen is the only one on there then he is most likely crouching down so his projectile doesn't go over the other player's head.


Anyways large Goro FTW! Jade looks sexy but I haven't seen a clear enough picture to say anything else.

I got the magazine from Wal Mart today and for those wondering YES Jade's Skin color is lighter than before but she is still dark. Kinda like this but with more tan. Actually she kinda looks like if a white person went on vacation for a week in florida and came back with a Jersey Shore / WWE Spray on tan look

I can't quite put my finger on what I don't like about him. Maybe he doesn't seem as menacing. Although the pics in the magazine weren't the greatest.

I'm glad Jade is confirmed. She is probably my favorite female so I'm pretty excited to see what she looks like and what she can do. Can't wait to see some gameplay videos of her. I'm impatiently wait to see how natural looking her boobs are and how they still jiggle and her ass.
