Yeah. I really enjoyed her MKDA-MKA looks. No idea what happened with MKDC. She looked like a parody version of herself. As for this game it seems like someone said Hey, lets give Kitana long hair and throw some long blue hooker boots on her! Give her fans and she's ready to go! I don't get "princess" from that.

Maybe we can hold out hope that her alt will be less slutty and more...Kitana.

If you're talking about that "Tia Carrere in a Bridesmaid's Dress" look, I couldn't agree more. That is, without question, my least favorite look for my favorite MK woman. I also like her new costume a lot, aside from the heels.

Kitana's latest costume is the best one yet, by a long shot. Its her most fitting costume shes ever had. Her hair is awesome, the only thing I dont like on this costume is the strings on her top. Those should be saved for her alternate.

I actually agree with you. And it's not because it's skimpy. The detail in the fabric is amazing. The golden lines that are weaved throughout the costume, they make her appear more regal than any other costume that has come before.

Sure, there's people saying that a princess doesn't dress herself in a bikini, etc... but remember that this is Outworld. Earthrealm princesses don't dress like that, but everyone from Outworld seems to dress in a more revealing way than on our realm, so I'm guessing it's just part of their culture. Heck, Shao Kahn might even be the most underdressed character in the game, but I guess nobody really cares because his chest isn't so jiggly.

I agree with you this is Kitana's best costume ever, she has never looked more princess then now, But i disagree about the black lace i think it ties all 3 girls together Mileena,Jade,Kitana so there is still similarities about them.
And i dont see her as slutty i mean thats how arabian and egyptian princesses dress in ancient times and outworld and edenia is very similar.

I think ultimately what it is thats bugging me about Sindels look is they were to rigid with keeping close to the origina, the only difference being the cut out segments and longer jacket, With the other characters (for the most part) ypu can see there was refrencing to the original costume s but still look fresh and brand new.
I don't necessarly dislike it, but considering Sindels age and position as queen I would have liked something a little more refind, after all would you want to see your mother dressed in something like that ;)

The only thing I'm a bit disappointed with, in regards to Sindel's looks, is her hair. Sindel is known for her extremely long hair, yet in the pictures it seems to be smaller than Kitana's.

Maybe they just keep the long parts for when she does special moves, where her hair gets extended or something. At least, I hope we get to see that long hair again. Sindel without long hair is like Cage without his glasses.

Yeah I do like the black lace up when you put it that way, but it still doesnt look right with Kitana's costume. If they had only made it with the bottom two X's and not made it lace all the way up, it would look much better. Or if they made it grey to match the rest of the lining of her costume. In regards to Sindel, I'll say it again, she just needs more accessories and more detail to her costume. Kitana's is simple, but its the details that make it work. I really cannot wait to see everyone's alternates. Sindel''s hair needs something more too, I like the way it looked in Deception, they should give her more volume or a bumpit like Kitana has.

Sandra Hess is an extremely beautiful woman and a very good actress. She was a great Sonya, but, failed to shine due to the horrible movie that MKA was.

However, I do agree that Sandra was fantastic. I missed Bridgette's long hair and dramatic eye brows and super attitude, but, Sandra was really natural and a great fighter.

I think you're confusing me with the fake troll version. I hope this MK 2011 will be the best game in the series and I have been damned impressed with what I've seen so far.
Do I pick apart everything? Yes.
Do I do so in a manner that isn't always constructive? Yes.
Do I state opinions in a way that makes people think I'm stating facts? Yes, but that's more to do with my poor communication skills than anything else.
Do I think my opinions are facts? Not really, but I don't think there's anyone out there who could honestly say that they don't hold their opinion in a little higher esteem than those of others. Still, I think most people can tell the difference between opinion and fact.

And queve, I've often been very unfair to Bridgette Wilson simply because of the huge amount of hate that Sandra Hess gets. I liked Sandra Hess because she was a classically beautiful woman who kicked ass and could be taken seriously as a military officer. I didn't like Bridgette Wilson because I couldn't take her seriously as a military officer, I didn't think that her attitude in the movie was congruous with that of a military officer, and she was easily the worst fighter in the movie. That may reflect more on how good the others were than how bad she was, but that's another case of opinion. I guess that a lot of people have seen Sonya as a snarky bitch, but I never had. I always saw her as a serious, competent and motivated military officer.

I think Sonya's all of that that you see in her + the snarky bitch. I mean, she's proven to be a great leader and a worthy ally despite her explosive attitude.

I honestly rather have this kind of Sonya than the more "calm" one that you suggest, but, you do make valid points for not liking Bridgette.

I still think she was a great Sonya and I also agree that Sandra had class and she's very underrated. She was great in her role. The problem is how different she looked from the "original Sonya" we saw and loved in the first film.

So many things were changed so abruptly that it didn't make any sense. It was almost as if the director+crew didn't give a crap about the film. Had Sandra maintained some of the main looking aspects of the first movie Sonya (long pony tail + costume + dramatic eyebrows) she'd have been less criticized (maybe...cause Raiden was hated even more).

As far as I am concerned, I think ALL the ladies look fantastic. I have absolutely no complaints about any of their costumes. I will say though, it would have been so awesome had the NRS team decided to go with costumes from MK Shaolin Monks for Jade, Kitana, and Mileena.

Even with Annihilation going on around her, I found Hess's Sonya far more credible. Wilson was a pretty girl to put on posters, but couldn't quite sell the physicality of the role, even with the help of a few old movie tricks. Hess definitely deserves credit for being more convincing in her movements, if nothing else!

I only like Sindel and Sonya's looks so far. Mileena looks terrible, Kitana too but not as bad, and I haven't seen Jade well enough yet.

As much as I like Sonya nothing can justify her battle damage. No pair of pants rips THAT much to the point it's basically a thong without so much as a scratch on the flesh beneath it. And if you notice the photo of her where Sindel is shooting her low fireball, the battle damage on her vest is a joke because her tit is nothing short of falling out, I mean to the point that if she so much as jumps her whole breast would fall out from her top.

Battle damage is cool and all but not to the point these female characters coincidentally only manage to lose clothing around their breasts and upper thighs. I know it's renowned for being OTT and a bit ridiculous at the best of times but that's kinda tacky in my opinion.

I hate to nitpick, and this really doesn't bother me that much, but I hate how Ermac's nose sticks out of his mask. Just looks a little goofy to me.
