Sub-Zero comes to the coliseum wanting to face Scorpion. Kahn, angered that anyone would make demands of him, forces him to fight Reptile first, but after he beats him, gives him Scorp. Cue the dialogue we heard already in Sub's combo vid.
After the fight, Sub is about to finish Scorpion but doesn't get the chance as the cyborgs interrupt the tournament and offer the loyalty and service of the Lin Kuei to Kahn in exchange for permission to take Sub-Zero away.
Raiden: "The flow of time has been changed. I spared Smoke this fate, only to watch this new Sub-Zero fall."
Razor: "I am pissed. Very, very pissed."
Kahn then bitches Kitana out for allowing Earthrealm ninjas to infiltrate Outworld. Raiden advises the others that Kitana could be convinced to switch sides.
Raiden and co. go to talk to Kitana (after she has a small scene with Jade) Note that Liu and Kung Lao are not with them at the moment. Raiden convinces Kitana to trust him and tells her she'll find answers to her origins in Shang's Flesh Pits, where she is forbidden to go. She wants to know more, but Raiden just tells her she has to find out for herself.
As she travels there, Jade tries to stop her, they fight, Kitana wins and presses on.
At the Flesh Pits, Kitana finds Mileena. Apparently, Mileena has JUST RECENTLY been created and Kitana has never met her before.
