No. Mini games murdered MK.

The MK team should be focused on the STORY and gameplay points. Not crappy mini games which end up being better than the main games most of the time.

I actually wouldn't mind a new mini-game, so long as it's not a rehash of the ones seen in Deception or Armageddon.

Perhaps Sub-Zero and Scorpion in a Contra rip-off.

I liked Chess as a sort of alternative to Arcade mode that let you build a team rather than play just one character.

But I never liked any of the others and I think it's better for everyone if they stayed away from those ideas from now on except for the occasional Test Your Might comeback.

Besides, Tag mode seems like a much more fun way to fight as a team.

Story//Konquest mode does not qualify as a mini-game to me (nor does this new tag mode, btw) because, it's not something we're playing for quick points/coins or what have you. That said, the only one I'd be slightly interested in seeing what they do with it, is test your might. Actually, it might be funny to see pong show up in some new gruesome MK fashion during a loading screen or something. Since it's been so long or whatever. But...mnah... Other than that...

I did enjoy puzzle and chess kombat tho.

I always enjoyed and loved the mini games.

I had so much fun with Puzzle Kombat and Motor Kombat that I wouldn't mind seeing a new improved version of those (in particular Motor Kombat).

Mini Games serve the purpose to entertain and give a little extra fun (and funny moments too), so, I don't see what the big deal is.

Of course I want them to focus on what's important first, but, having a Mini game wont kill the game, geez.

Same here. At least it had some relevance to the fighting, which after all it is a fighting game.

I'd rather there is just the fighting in the game, but if they do decide to add anything else, then hopefully it's something along the lines of Chess kombat.

2 player tug a war loser falls to death or in acid/fire or eaten by a croc

No. Screw all that jazz.

Screw ripping off Mario Kart or Puzzle Fighter. Screw playing chess. Tiny mini-games like Test Your Might/Sight between rounds should be all the extras we need.
