I see a small female jaw, no face paint or masks, and a blonde or white ponytail, and Sindel would not have her hair in a ponytail, at least not in a primary costume, since having giant hair is a big part of her powers/gimmick. I think Sonya's the most likely guess.

Yeah, side-by-sides tell me clearly that isn't Nightwolf, so I was WAY off on that one. I also am leaning towards Sonya, and I do think those are dogtags hanging down by her right side.
On the part that everyone thinks may be a pony tail: could it be possible that it is part of her arm and hand that is raised up in a fighting position towards her face?

I'd actually like them to make Sonya an athletic female closer to her MK3&4 looks not a butch female like her MK:DA-MKvsDC looks.

I know the MK team haven't been the best with female characters in the past. They usually seem slutty or manly and not much in between.

I could see that being Sonya, the colour distortion was significant enough for blond to look black and shiny to look like white highlights.

But on the flip side I hope its not Sonya. Low cut top? We have enough cleavage on show.

I dont think its "Skarlett" or "Red Leg Girl" because Red isn't the main colour here. You would see Red on that pic and there doesn't seem to be any.

As much as I would love to see Fujin in the game, I seriously doubt he'll make it. Maybe, only maybe as a DLC. Anyway, that definitely looks like a female character to me.

At first when I saw the small picture I thought it was Sonya because I thought the character had blonde hair, especially the "ponytail" part, BUT...

After taking closer looks at the enlarged screenshot I don't think that's a ponytail and the hair above the eyes looks dark (may seem like blonde because of the lighting effects), but it definitely looks dark to me. The face actually looks similar to Kitana's, the eyes especially. So my guess right now is that this is Kitana (without a mask) in some beta-version of the costume which later got substituted for the one we've seen any maybe they just haven't updated her arcade ladder mugshot yet. Or it could simply be her alternate costume that they thought to use as her primary, but later flipped it with the one we've seen.

It doesn't look like Sindel to me- not enough hair (especially gray) and not enough make-up.

So, if that "thing" is a ponytail then I'd say it's Sonya, but the hair above the eyes looks dark to me and plus if that "thing" is not a ponytail then I'd say it's Kitana (hair in a bun?).
