If they only add one new character, it'll be awesome. That's what they should've been doing for years: adding one or two new characters per game and having them be really sweet, as opposed to 6 or 7 mediocre ones.

Agreed. I found with every title, MK crammed too many new characters in with each canon release. I noticed this more when compared with Tekken which usuaully adds only 2-3 new characters. I think with adding less characters it allows you to become acustomed and more familiar with the new blood. There are mant characters in MK that were either uneeded, unecassary or just plain stupid. Kai, Dairou, Darrius, Hsu Hao, K/Chameleon, Meat, Jarek, Mokap, Kobra Some of these I can forgive as being more just joke characters. But others just plain sucked. But I am hoping for something sweet. More gameplay vids of characters we havnt seen yet would be awesome. Seeing Kintaro would make my day, no wait, week Another Vignette would also be nice. But I'll be happy wth anything.

I agree, that's what Soul Calibur's done and we got Ivy, Talim, Tira and Hilde, four very iconic and memorable characters, over the course of 4 games. IDK why Boon can't take a hint from other series as to what's successful. I think he just comes out of his cave every few years and says "We got more memory this gen!? Let's pack the roster, boys!" and then goes back to hibernate. I also frick'n hate twitter. Can someone explain why it's so stupidly successful? It's a garbled mess as far as I can see. You can't even see the questions people are responding to, just a cryptic response with no context.

In the stickied 'Gameplay Discussion' thread the user Check, who seems to now be part of NRS (or closely related to their department) said this will be a 'big week for the MKCommunity, and this was after the Noob Saibot video was released. So I have high hopes for this video.
