I've noticed this in other MKs too... the female characters have the exact same size shoe heel and design... so they can just alter over it as opposed to make entirely new shoe models.

I actually really love the cutout sections from Sindel's outfit... I know it makes no sense and wouldn't stay up given our planet's wonderful gravity, but I think it looks so cool ^_^ It's like an anime outfit or something. Nonsensical but win.

In my opinion there is a difference between the comedic size of the womens breast and the size of a man pectorials, one could at least argue that to take part in a a physical tournament where you will be fighting to the death would require you to be at the peek of your physical health, thats not to say I dont think the men shouldn't have a variety of body types because I do, however that kind of body is still obtainable by natural means (quite frankly whenever I go to gay clubs I see these He-Man bodies everywhere)
whereas those female body types would only obtain that breast size through surgical procedures. the large breast are purely there for sex appeal
I will 100% agree with you the personalities, characterisation and story along with gameplay are the most important thing a game and the Mortal kombat women have them, but for me personally its being undermined with these overy revealing costumes, unnatural gravity defying breasts and high heels, a women cant even run for a bus in those things let alone fight to the bloody death. Lets not kid ourselves men are nowhere near as sexulized as women in any media
Lastly there is a lot more varity of costumes with the men compared to the women, you have the ninjas coverd head to toe, you have the martial artist like liu kang and johnny cage who are topless, then theres people like kung lao and nightwolf and then theres stryker.
Now compare the women, all wearing highly revealing costume either looking like swimsuits or undergarments, the exception being sonya who is in my opionion is just as bad. a woman in the military who wheres heels and forgets to weare a support bra and a vest, how can anyone say theres no sexualization there?

Futuristic might not be the "technically-correct" (?) word to use, but, the word perfectly summarizes the idea/concept just as much as "gothic" or "goth" does for Sindel.

Sonya'a model looked futuristic in MKvsDC thanks to those ultra mega sexy gloves of hers (much better than the ones she's got now), the technology attached to them and all those straps that were all over the place.

The new pants have such an interesting unordinary design that it makes her feel all out there (+ those sexy straps again).

It's not that she looks like a super obvious sci-fy soldier, but, there is definitely a vibe of it in her costumes. That's why. You can call it a cheap GI Joe imitation or whatever, I like it.

They should have given it different shades imo. It all looks too... the same. You can barely even tell that she's wearing olive green AND black. It needs a ton of contrast. But other than that I love it, especially during gameplay footage.
