creed, people were getting upset over the fact that Cyber Sub-Zero could replace Kuai Liang as a character in the future. Just because all 3 characters would be playable in this installment wasn't what people were concerned with. Everyone (including myself) were basically worried and pissed that NRS could be planning to replace the human Sub-Zero with a cybernetic one.

quan chi is hidden because he is the only post mk3 character in the game and should have been a suprise. It sucks we been spoiled cause it would have suprised everyone.

Noob saibot is obviously a hidden character cause of 1. being super strong with his shadow on his side and 2. he was hidden in mk2-mk3, etc.

Cyber subzero is hidden cause he is non-canon I would say. Its a what if scenerio for him im 99% sure. A cool what-if non-cannon storyline of what if if very interesting and I want to see the outcome. Also if he gets his own moveset as a cyber that would freaking own. This guy is gonna be beast.

I believe the other character is skarlett as number 4. The trophies the way they were worded im not sure if quan chi is one of the 4 original hiddens or a seperate hidden.

Lastly as for MILEENA's 3rd alternate. You CAN show boobs in a game and keep an M rating. The people in heavy rain are butt ass naked in the shower and it shows madisons titts while she showers and strips in a different chapter. Its very possible, you just can show vagina but you can show boobs/nipples and ass.

oh and P.S.... goro and khan are unlockable i would assume but not "hidden"? weird.

Each character has a 3rd or 4th hidden fatality.... each character has another -ality that we didnt even know was in the game... Rain could be one of the hidden characters... kintoro and motoro are rumjored to be subbosses and that big monster from khans arena and the street level....

this game has plenty of suprises.

I wouldn't have been surprised to see Quan Chi.

Nobody who follows the spoilers and such should've been surprised by Quan Chi, his intro quote leaked back in early December. He has the same voice actor he had in MKvsDCU and he says "You will serve me in the Netherealm."

Even before the game was announced, I expected him. That's how obvious his inclusion is.

I will say this though DLC or not Cyborg Smoke is a must. I'd like to see how that team works.

Man, how could the game where magic ninjas fight barbarian sorcerers ever be considered ridiculous?

I can see why some are alarmed by this development and guys like Temp and Garlador actually have good points if some of you would actually bother to read what they have to say. However, I would be fine with Cyber Sub-Zero being in the game if his story is anything like what Razor mentioned as option two.

It's for 99% certain that Smoke will be human in this game, meaning Robo-Smoke will not be there to hunt down Sub-Zero as a soulless machine. Now, in the current story Sub-Zero AND Smoke could manage to escape automation by the Lin Kuei, persuing their own interests while the Lin Kuei discover Bi-Han's lifeless body and take it back to the Lin Kuei for a revival of some sort given that he was their very best warrior.

They manage to revive him as a soulless cyborg and give him the same objectives they gave Sektor and Smoke in the original MK3 storyline. So basically, he replaces Robo-Smoke and takes over his mission in hunting down Quai Liang. This way we have another cyborg with the code name Sub-Zero that is emotionally tied to Quai Liang (make Quai find out Cyber-Zero is his brother, of course) without ruining Noob's story or younger Sub-Zero's story, and we have someone taking over Robo-Smoke's part concidering there are so many people who find it important that Sub-Zero is hunted by someone he has an emotional tie with.

I have a feeling that after you play with subzero in story mode, he gets captured instead of smoke then turned into a robot. Then you control smoke and defeat cyber-subzero which will unlock him in the krypt.

I still think it's original Sub-Zero's body. There will probably be scene in the story mode where Scorpion/Noob-Saibot and Sub-Zero are fighting and then Cyber Subby appears and they are like: WTF?

That's under the assumption that Noob Saibot doesn't already use the original Sub-Zero's body.

Well I think, that Noob Saibot is original Sub-Zero's soul, which gained physical form when it escaped Netherrealm.

The second two were Shinnok

Quan Chi works for Shinnok and acts as his spokesman since Shinnok is forbidden from leaving the Netherealm.

His resurrection only goes as far as saying that, after his soul descended into the 5th plane of the Nether realm he was stripped of all human emotions. It never addresses what happens to his old body. I personally think that Noob Saibot and Scorpion are exactly the same in terms of what they are. Both are wraiths who have retained their human bodies, but their physical forms have been altered by the Nether Realm. Noob Saibot has become a physical shadow, and Scorpion is now Ghost Rider.

I really hope the bodies aren't the real ones. And persoanlly I doubt it.

Unless the Lin Kuei could've gotten to Sub-Zero's body on Shang Tsung's island before it had erupted, at the end of the first tournament, that's very unlikely. Also, the body would've been completely incinerated by Scorpion by that point. The Lin Kuei would've been better off creating a brand new android rather than trying to make a cyborg out of a roasted corpse.

It it actually canon that Scorpion burns Sub-Zero to death?

Watch Sub-Zero bio video again. It shows him incinerating Bi-Han.



Couple of things: 1) Nobody knew who Vader was until Empire Strikes back. 2) Anakin survived his burns because he was rescued by Palpatine right away. 3) Vader uses his original body as well, with cybernetic enhancements. Which is exactly the case I'm making for Noob Saibot. So thanks for that example.

And so what? Do you see taht all of his body is being turned into ash. I still see a body which can be just heavily burned

Well, considering that he's been killed and his soul in the nether realm, what exactly would be the point of using a dead body as a cyborg? Smoke, Sektor and Cyrax are all still inherently alive inside their cybernetic shells. And like I said, unless the Lin Kuei were able to recover his body from Shang Tsungs island before it erupts, then the chances of them using Bi-han's dead body as a cyborg is not likely.

Scorpion burning Sub-Zero in his vignette is a reference to Scorpion killing Sub-Zero. It doesn't necessarily imply that Scorpion burned him to death. We also see him finish off Sub-Zero with his fatality at the end of the vignette. Doesn't mean that's how it went.

Cyborg Sub Zero. So Boon wasn't kidding, I wonder why they decided to go with this. Did smoke get away and sub zero got captured instead? If he is part of the storyline, I can imagine that cyborg sub zero can be chosen selecting normal sub zero (opposite smoke umk3). This way he is replaced, because otherwise there would be 3 sub zero's.
Very curious how he turns out.
