We also see Lui Kang punching through Kano's chest and we see Mileena killing Kitana. All of those fatalties were stingers. Everybody's video ended with some kind of fatality.
In Sub-Zero's video though, we actually get to see a death as part of the story with Scorpion burning Bi-Han and Kuai Liang swearing revenge.

Shang's Island didn't completely self destruct, it just kind of had an earthquake and parts of it collapsed. The island itself is still there in Deadly Alliance.

So retrieving Bi-Han's body might not be very hard. It all just depends how much damage Scorpion does to it.

Why using the dead body of Sub-Zero? Because of the unique ability to use ice attacks?

I doubt that the YSZ will be tunred into one and in the future we won't have any NINJa Sub-Zero which is canon. And bringing a brand new character als Cyber Sub just as What If would be boring.

I like the ideas of swapping around things this time, making a Sub Zero into a cyborg; as long as Noob Saibot's in I can care less. Same with Human Sektor, I'm rather interested in seeing what road they went down instead of bashing the whole concept b4 we even get the chance to play as them. For all we know, everybody will be kicking themselves in their own asses cuz he might become the best playable fighter ever in the game turning cyborg. Too much of one good thing can be bad, Sub Zero and Scorpion need a change; yeah their the mascots but look at how well MvC3 turned out without Mega Man or Cyclops; THEIR GET OLD/SAME OL' BORING CONCEPTS NOW WITH SWORDS (WOW - THE USUAL LEFT-OVER WEAPON), SO CRY THEN MOVE ON!!!

This could be a POSSIBLE new start for Sub Zero, yeah people don't like the concept now, but if given the chance (APPARENTLY WILL HAPPEN WHETHER U LIKE IT OR NOT) this might be a good change, yet it doens't mean he'll be cannon/non-cannon; they'll probably deside that between this game and the next sequel whether to keep or not keep.

I say give this a shot, THEN JUDGE IT; for all we know Cyber-Sub Zero might not like the idea of you controlling him!!!

seriously guys. x360a is NEVER wrong and many times these days developers actually send them full achievement lists because it builds hype.

Ehhh, I'd read "the plot will make us feel better" as "You won't be pissed off by the end result". It not actually being Kuai Liang would accomplish that nicely.

I honestly don't know what to think about this Cyber Sub Zero business. If he's just a one off character, i don't think I would mind too much. But I wouldn't be very happy if it turns out to be canon. Here's hoping Mileenas alt isn't her just naked.

If Quan Chi is involved this time, its possible they're going to get that whole Quan Chi is the real killer thing out of the way much earlier and side step that whole akward subby and scorp are friends crap.

Everyone else can become a more interesting character without Sub and his stupid god powers overshadowing them. Scorpion can do something other than babysit, and maybe Frost won't just die. It's win fucking win. If you really wanna see Shredder Sub and his magic medallion again just boot up your Deception disc.

Jesus, I think people should stop freaking bitching until they get the game... We have absolutely no idea of the context of the character.. You dont know if its Sub-Zero, or the original Sub-zeros corpse, you dont know the games full story for each character, you dont know anything really other than Raiden goes back and some things change... WAIT TIL THE GAME IS OUT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE STORY..

You know they actually put alot of thought into the plot and story of this game... It takes place from MK1-MK3... Which logically means they probably know what they want to do for the next one that takes place from MK4-Armageddon....

Nothing extremely major has happened to Sub-Zero since he got the Amulet and got all Shredder looking... Even IF Sub-Zero gets caught and automated in this one, its GOOD DRAMA for the game... Its his story Arch.. No one wants that sad story line for the character because they like the character! They feel for him... If he gets automated it sucks for him... BUT you know what? The next game would probably be about how Sub-Zero gets UN-AUTOMATED..... Boon would not screw permanantly with who I wouldnt probably call the most popular character in the series.

It makes you want to know whats going to happen to him... Its like Han Solo being put into carbonite at the end of Empire Strikes back.. You are like holy crap what just happened to him? My favorite Character just got screwed! How will he get out of this aweful situation? And then the next story is how het gets out of it!!

Its not like like you ONLY can play with Cyber-Zero in this game..You get Regular Sub-Zero for 99% of the game.. If Cyber-Zero is his ending, I'm okay with it because I know it will be temporary! The next game would be him becoming normal again.. And THAT ladies and gentlemen makes for good drama and story telling, because you want to know the outcome and you become invested in the character.

any way the game will not have nudity as the rating stamp only mention brief nudity.

We've had multiple Sub-Zeroes for ages now. Would another one honestly surprise you? In this game alone, we'll have Noob, Kuai Liang, and whatever this thing turns out to be. Three different versions of one concept in one game alone.

Other characters who have nothing to do with Sub's angle are plenty interesting already. Everyone's got their fans.

If you actually think that making Kuai Liang into a robot is going to resolve stories and free up characters, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. If the Lin Kuei are portrayed as successful in automating Sub, it's either Smoke becomes the big magic hero and stops them in the exact same way Sub did with his help in the original telling - a boring and predictable result - or he doesn't, and they start expanding and spreading. That's probably lead to more people getting involved in the LK drama. The Special Forces get called in, etc.

And for all that Scorpion being Sub-Zero's protector was used, it may as well not even have existed. It was referenced in Scorpion's UMK3 ending, which didn't happen, And Scorpion's purpose in that game was to serve Kahn anyway - his plot occurs completely independent of the LK scenario.

You know what, maybe they'll actually make something out of that if Kuai Liang gets converted. Scorpion steps in to smack down cyborgs to fulfill his vow of protection, anyone?

Yeah, having a character fighting nude the whole way through an arcade ladder, not to mention appearing online ALL THE TIME (face it, it's what most teens are gonna use online if true) is a little beyond "partial" nudity. I am starting to lean towards the teddy bear outfit.
