I actually like Injustice, and I enjoy playing it, especially with Aquaman.

I do look forward to a sequel, but right now I'm in the mood for MK10.

Why get so upset at an Injustice sequel? You guys make it sound like Netherrealm Studios HAS to make Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat only.

Well some people like myself, don't care about Injustice, or really any fighting game besides Mortal Kombat. I don't have a problem with NRS making other fighting games, in fact I support it completely. But if those other games start taking priority instead of Mortal Kombat, I'll be very upset. So this time around, it better be a new Mortal Kombat instead of anything Injustice related (unless its something added).

Its been 3 years, it's time for Mortal Kombat to return.

Because its been quite a time since the last MK game, and not everyone here are fans of the DC.

I wouldn't be mad at them making Injustice 2, but it wouldn't make sense to. MK outsold Injustice. Plus MK is their baby, they named their studio after something from MK and their mascot is Scorpion. So they're clearly very proud of their legacy.

It's been a long time since the last MK, and with what they've learned from MK9 and Injustice I'm sure they are very eager to get back to MK. And I'd love to see NRS do others things, but MK needs to come first.

Remember guys - NetherRealm Studios is a development studio owned by Warner Brothers. They aren't an independent studio, or a publisher. What ever autonomy they have - at the end of the day, they're employed to do a job by WB.

The only reason I'd be upset is because Boon has been hinting MK10 all this time.

It would be pretty shitty for him to announce Injustice instead, after so many people have had their hopes up for MK10.



If am correct, NRS does have creative freedom.

I don't think they are forced to abide by the whims of Warner Bros. In fact, I don't think Warner Bros. has much say in what NRS creates, as long as it brings in profit. I could be wrong, but I doubt that's how it is.

It's a matter of being upset over the possibility of two Injustice games in a row, while MK would get sidelined because of it.

This is true, but as long as MK is making WB money they'll let NRS keep making them.

Injustice came out like last year. And hmm. When did we get a new MK game? *Looks at imaginary calendar* Oh yeah, 3 years ago. Sorry if this sounded dickish but we are long overdue for a sequel.

It's not dickish at all.

Three years is decent spacing for fighting game installments. Any earlier would be just too soon.

Something tells me its going to be mk vs dc 2

Injustice is awesome. Really hoping for MK10 but wouldn't be too upset at Injustice 2 either, but would be surprised since IGAU has only been out for a little over a year now.

I am really hoping for Mortal Kombat 10, and it being a Mortal Kombat exclusive, DLC content would be the only exception for a non-MK character. Now I loved Injustice and I am really looking forward to a sequel as well, but if I want to see the character's in action I'll read comics while I wait. I am not trying to prolong my MK wait. I don't think NRS should be an MK only company either just really hoping for MK 10

I'm eager to see the return of Lei Mei and Drahmin if they are included I sure hope so!!!

See, I get where you're coming from, but if a new Injustice came before a new MK I would start to wonder if Injustice was now taking prominence for them. That would piss me off because MK is what put NRS on the map anyway. Hell, Scorpion is on their logo.

If it was a new game entirely, then fine. I'll be disappointed with that, but it is what it is. However, a new Injustice so soon after the last would piss me off as a fan.

I think Li Mei will likely return.

Considering Outworld is being targeted by Shinnok, she has every reason to. Her people are in danger, and she is the only person willing to protect them.

If by some miracle Drahmin is announced, I will probably scream like a girl. In all seriousness though, I'm glad we have some news coming our way because it gets everyone on here talking again.

I have a feeling a lot of characters are getting the ax this time. I hope Tanya, Sareena, Fujin, Ashrah, Havik, Nitara, Shinnok, Reiko, Li Mei, and Frost return. The rest could never be inteoduced again if I got those ten.

Drahmin is one of the most, if not THEE most, underrated characters in all of MK. He's much more interesting than a stupid myth character like Skarlet. Not too popular of an opinion I guess, but whatever.

Also, I can't wait to see Havik again. He's just awesome and I'm sure that opinion is popular enough.

Drahmin was a cool design and really interesting backstory, but his gameplay, his moves, they were really, really bad!
