Yes I was unlucky enough to stumble upon them and regreted it right away. You wanted to get rid of fatalities and turn MK into a fashion runway with high heels, weird haircuts and long dresses. About 99% of the comments were people asking you to stop spamming with this stupidity and the rest 1% was you in this account or Noobsmoke_Mk........or Muhammad.....or Mk_FrEaK! And all you did was not listen to people asking you to get a life and stop going on and on and on about random sh*t in different sites! I don't agree with DLC. It's a cheap way to make money. However, if Reptile and Kitana had awesome new looks mixed with an updated playstyle, I would pay for them. I would. DLC sucks, but it will almost certainly happen.


I think they should put in a game mode that you unlock after finishing the story where you fight all the deceased characters from MK9. When you defeat them you unlock them in free play. I think that's fair and probably the best way the dead characters can be dealt with.

Superb roster Scar. 30 characters(which is a reasonable number for a roster). A dark Liu Kang would be a sweet lil twist and sounds better than a Zombie Liu Kang >.>
There's only one gripe and it's a tiny one nothing more. Reptile and Kitana as DLC? lol No thanks.

Of course they're going to update the movesets. I want and expect them to add some new moves. But when I buy DLC I'm paying for a new character, not an old character with a few new moves. Completely different.

DLC will happen. NRS has shown repeatedly that they are down for DLC. And I am too, it extends the life of the game. What I'm NOT on board with however, is paying for a character that was already in the last game. They ought to be in the game as an unlockable, it's not cool to charge people for characters in the previous game.

It disappointed me that Sub only had 3 useful specials when we had seen so many specials from him in the past.

Tombstone Drop teleport
Ice parry (I know cyber sub had it)
Ice puddle
Ice shaker

Hell there were so many more options for at least one more special. That ground ice they gave him was just horrible.

I can't wait til this game comes. The rage that happens online is so damn good. Hatemail. Throwing controllers on the ground that bounces into the trash can. MK9 had some good memories.But like all fighting games, the online portion just brings out the best of us. I wonder if they are going to keep Online rooms, I thought that was a cool feature.

Yeah that's what I was referring to. I spoiled things that I wanted to, but for those that I didn't want to be spoiled I ignored.for those who properly did the actual spoiler warning is what I'd like to see more of if the hack ever happened. However, there were people who blatantly made threads without giving anyone warnings ahead of time and spoiled things. And that is what I am hoping this site cracks down on if the game gets hacked. Not too many things actually did happened, the thread just gets locked and that was it. That is just what I was trying to get at.

ANYWAY, I just re-watched the premier trailer for MK9, and like, holy crap. I feel like that trailer showed so much. Decent amount of characters, stages, moves, etc. If we get a trailer on Monday, I hope it's pretty meaty in terms of content. I really don't want a tiny little teaser.

I have been saying that's a prime roster for a while. It just fits to me. 30 characters to start with just seems like a fair number, plus it gives us plenty of old and new blood.

As far as DLC. I've explained it already. I would pay for it. Some would and some wouldn't. I think it would bring in revenue though. Is it right? No.

If Reps and Kitty weren't DLC though then I wouldn't have them there at all.

I'm not too keen on bringing back dead characters just for the sake of it, especially at the expense of someone like Reptile. Otherwise, solid roster. I'd be happy with it for the most part.

Yeah, there's always that possibility. I suppose I just assumed we would get a decent trailer before E3 based on the release patterns of MK9.

Then again, MK9 was confirmed in 2009 when Boon said they were doing motion capture for the next MK. MK10 has only recently been spoken of, which is a bit more tight-lipped than MK releases in recent memory.

It probably has something to do with them not wanting to take away focus from Injustice, with it doing so well and all.
