Thanks!
I have been saying that's a prime roster for a while. It just fits to me. 30 characters to start with just seems like a fair number, plus it gives us plenty of old and new blood.
As far as DLC. I've explained it already. I would pay for it. Some would and some wouldn't. I think it would bring in revenue though. Is it right? No.
If Reps and Kitty weren't DLC though then I wouldn't have them there at all.

I know. Just saying there should be other characters more suitable to be DLC than Peach and Yoshi. (Kitana & Reptile). Like some other characters from Deception and Deadly Alliance. I would either squeeze those 2 into the roster or just omit them all together.

Who are Mario and Luigi then? Liu Kang and Kung Lao... and then Bowser would be Shao Kahn... hey, this could actually work!

Yeah I'm joking :P It would ruin my childhood ;_; (I grew up with both MK and Mario). Speaking of Mario, can't wait to play Mario Kart 8 tonight (* ̆) ̆*)
8 am huh? I usually wake up around that time so it''ll be a good thing to see first thing in the morning

^^^ Now this will make Monday a little more bearable. I have to be at work at 7am, so I will be antsy as I can be for 8am. I'm seeing a "bathroom break" around 8:05am

I miss a lousy 23 pages and everything goes to hell.
Here we go again. WHO'S EXCITED!?
It is absolutely fucking amazing to see some of the MKO vets back on here. Welcome back, people. Let's have another round of losing our minds until release.
Feels like home.

Man, so many posts with rosters balancing trilogy and 3D era characters, debating the merits of 3D era characters, which is cool to see. Love seeing all the talk!
But let me just pose a question here and I swear, I don't mean it sarcastically and I'm not being rhetorical. Sorry for the long set up here and below (I'm really long winded if you hadn't noticed lol). Here goes:
Does anyone else think it's possible that NRS rebooted the whole story, negating everything that they'd written previously for the characters that they created over 20+ years and killing off a ton of those characters, many of whom could be considered sacred cows, not to shock people (only to bring the dead right back) and not to clear space for less loved* 3D era characters, but set up the story and to clear space for a lot of new characters that'll help take the series in a brand new direction?
What would you think if they went that route?
*Many post MK3 characters are beloved by the hardcore faithful. But in comparison to the Trilogy sacred cows, especially by casuals, they tend to get less love.

I really wouldn't mind if they brought in new characters, but every time they do they tend to be thrown aside by the next game. I think it's best if they focus on the characters they already have because many of them have barely been given a true chance. And no, I don't consider "Armageddon" as a second chance because everyone got the short end of the stick when it came to that abomination in the story department.
I'm really hoping to see the newer MK4 characters(along with a few DA and Deception) get brand new looks, fresh new plots, and hopefully a second shot at redemption.

I have probably been on this site like maybe 5 times over the past 3 years. It feels nice to be back to celebrate the birth of another round of Kombat! I've been out of the MK universe for a while, feels nice to be back!

Preach. I'm still pulling for Sheeva to return but I know the odds of that are probably below zero sadly.

I don't think they are competent enough to be honest.
