woulnt it be cool if in one mk game when you selected konquest it would say: GOOD
EVIL
IF you picked good you would be some kind operson from the future by the elder gods to stop someone like onaga from murdering the elder gods and help get rid of a corrupted onaga solider spirit out of you
IF you picked evil you would be onaga or something big,powerful,and evil maybe even a new powerful creature to help aid onaga in his battle to defeat all of his arge enemy elder gods that posed a threat to him especially raiden and then try to take over earth by killing earths only magical protector... Fujin and find liu kangs corpse and steal his martial arts eccence.

not a bad idea....it would reveal much more of a storyline i think,but i dunno i would rather be able to choose who i can use in konquest rather than being set or like instead of having to use one character through the whole mode have the story rotate to other characters durring the game...just so that the story can be seen...that would also be a good way to show character bios...whoa....light bulb lol....interactive bios! that would be cool to actually play the bios.

Yeah that would be awesome and all. Until you said the part about interactive bios, which don't get me wrong would be awesome and helpful to the storyline but wouldn't that still be simialr to the what if endings we get in every game? Correct me if I'm wrong I just thought you mean't it that way.

I think this would definately be an awesome idea....especially with having alot of characters interact from both sides.
Each character having there own unique story mode would be bad ass. I hope this is put in a future MK game for sure.

Yea! this is a pretty sick idea, and I think I would want to start out innocent and neutral first, go through some incredible events and become Aligned good or evil.
This gives alot to the creative process too. Peep:
1. It would give alot bigger a pupose to all the random people walking around aimlessly. If you go around beating people up you could become evil quicker. Which in the end could make you just that much more potent.
On the good side, it entices you to do all the side missions, doing people favors and such would contribute to the good side. Start early on, be a better "saint" in the end.
2. It could definatly make conquest a longer game becasue you would have more to do.....more possible to do the way of #1.
Let alone the main story concerning each alignment. They could even give us different ending stories based on our conluding alignments. Say 50 possible personality endings. How cool would that be? Not to mention the replayability of Conquest mode then?
I'd even except picture or kata endings according to the skills acquired during the conquest.....
3. What if you could Kreate the fighter you took through the conquest? Certainly would make you care about the character you take through the mode.
If Kata endings were to become so, the armour and style of fighting you got through the mode would be more appealing instead of just pictures.
And when you got into fights, the "jig saw" man or woman could very well pop up as actually you instead. Take the way they move around when you're making them, and put those subtle little actions in the vs screen. Nothing short of a little motion capture could take care of this for even the most ellaborate combinations of peoples characters. I'd love to see this.
4. Ooo what If you stayed neutral, you could be ellected to be an elder god or elder gods' champion or something. Cuz y'know how they have to stay out of the "mortal matters"? How hard would that be to accomplish.
5. Theeen add in guest appearances by all the "official characters from Mortal Kombat history and what you "must" do. This could give incentive for good or bad characters when you have to go through oposite favoring realms.

Like taking Raiden through Outworld. He obviously dosen't want to spend a bunch of time there becasue he gets weaker the longer he stays there.
Imagine your character aligned with good and HAVING to got through the ChaosRealm or NetherRealm. Same principal for "evil" alaigned characters coming through EarthRealm or Edenia.
It might also make deeds done that attribute to your alignment there, that much more potent in favor of making you stronger or weaker in your alignment. See that?

If I'm a good guy, and I HAVE to go to the NetherRealm, AND I'm trying to get out of there as quickly as possible by completing all my objectives in that realm, but I do a favor for Ashrah while I'm there, I get a shit load of
"Good Guy Kudos" or something that out weigh my altogether stay in that non favoring realm.

the "fable" or "oblivion" type idea sounds cool as shit. but...i dunno....for more entertainment time-lasting value..i'd kinda rather have PICK good or evil, so that way if you picked good, and you beat the game, you could get bored and then replay another konquest mode 100% different as a bad guy just so that way it's go from like 6-8 hours to 12-16 hours.

i also think it would be great if both good and evil konquests, and each side is longer than mka's konquest, so we get much more play out of that mode. and for both of them to have completely different storylines(something along the lines of sonic adventure 2)

What sould be a good idea is making several different endings for the konquest mode. In other words, the outcome is different if you win or loose a specific battle.
I've probably said this at least five times already, but if anyone has played SC3's story mode, you'll know what I'm about to say.
Basically, in SC3, you pick a character, and you go through a quest. Usually, you do one battle, then you have to make a choice (e.g., "Gather more information in this land," and "Head east for now."). Depending which route you take, you meet different people and trigger certain events. I love this concept because it lets you customize your character.
However, the only fault was that you were restricted to playable characters, and not custom characters. If they incorporated something similar to this in the game, I would absolutely love it. Instead of level-after-level, just make it similar to Deception. Possible sub-plots, a decent amount of fighting, customization, and a good, non-contradicting storyline.
I really enjoyed Deception's storyline and style; you could choose who to fight and when, you could decide whether or not to complete a quest, or deck some old guy in the face. Unfortunately, it didn't matter; as long as you followed the green beam, that's all that mattered, and that wasn't very fun.
I just really hope they add more options for the characters, though. I felt there weren't enough accessories compared to SC3's, but I did fine with it anyways.

The thing is, that would make it too much like every Star Wars game out there.
I like this idea. It could add new characters, and open the storyline up more. It would also give the game more replay value. IT reminds me of Sonic Adventure 2 a little bit. To expand it even more, you could give it categories i.e.: Shokan, Shaolin Order, Tarkatan, etc.

That reminds me of the Shadow the Hedgehog game, the choices that you make determine certain characters to either be your ally or your enemy. And the same character kould be either depending on your decisions, that would be such a kool idea.
I also like the idea of using your Kreated Fighter in Konquest mode to help build up your character, in fact I love it. As other's characters alliegences are already set, your character's hasn't yet been created.
But what would be fantastic is if you could create several characters under one profile. Play through Konquest as one character and determine its alliegence, then play as another and encounter your previous character in a certain alliegence and have both your characters battle it out. Imagine that. Apoligises if I activated a sleeping thread or anything like that. I joined literaly today.
