Kill Shao Kahn and take out everyone who vowed their soul to him at one point in time or another. He deserves a slow death, one we can watch, and almost feel sorry for him.

Doing something like this would kill off most of the baddies in MK, and instantly open the door for new characters with new motivations. You'd loose some treasures like Baraka, Reptile, Mileena, and maybe even Kitana if she actually did ever pledge to him, but how nerve racking//exciting would it be finding out who all went down with him?

The ones I think should go down with him if he dies:

:: Sonya -- She needs to retire, or at least be promoted to the Department Of Defense (D.O.D.)

:: Jax -- Ditto Sonya. Let some new, better soldiers come through and fight a "War of the Worlds" scenario out with the Tekkunin. Let Jax and Sonya be senior officers that the "young-bucks" report to, and take orders from.

:: Cyrax -- maybe he can help the young-bucks against Sektor? Other than that, I don't see much of a reason to keep him around. Fix him and let him go home if he's not going to be apart of the fight against the Tekkunin.

:: Stryker -- Just....goes home. *shrugs* He never knew why he was in Mortal Kombat to begin with, and neither do we.

:: Jarek -- I feel strongly that he should never have come back to begin with. So it won't bother me one bit if he just.....disappears again.

:: Darrius -- Don't care. Have a Seido Guardsman kill this dude during a riot or something. Just get him up outta here.

:: Bo Rai Cho -- Send him to his homeworld, and keep him busy with beer, and training up whoever the hell they wanna make up for him to stay out of Mortal Kombat himself. haha..His type of character needs to go...badly.

:: Mavado -- Never truly understood what he's doing here besides the Black//Red Dragon stuff. So if those clans go, I don't care to see him around any longer either. Otherwise, they gotta do something with this dude. Alot of people seem to like him, but I don't see why. He looks like a really bad Neo knockoff, his moves suck, and his story is pretty much irrelavant without clan business involved.

:: Mokap -- Duh

:: Johnny Cage -- Dude's been dead twice. His type of humor is old, his design needs to change, his motivation needs to change. On and on and on...I don't think he needs to die, but I do think he needs to either change to reflect the sorts of things he's been through, or just go home already.

:: Shujinko -- Let Raiden be the person who kills this guy. I just agree with it for the way Raidens behavior has shifted.

:: Taven -- I think he's just a sucky character. He doesn't need to die but, he should be kept out of the contest for a long....looong time. I don't think he's relevant outside MKA.

:: Liu Kang -- He's dead man. Leave him dead. Have his corpse fall apart from too much fighting after rigor mortus or something.

:: Daegon -- Ditto Taven

:: Li Mei -- Still, just don't like her.

:: Tanya -- Waste. Somebody can kill her

:: Moloch -- Have something eat him while in hell. It'd be funny considering he's supposed to be so big.

:: Meat -- Duh

:: Blaze -- He did his job in MKA.

:: Chameleon -- Duh

:: Khameleon -- She has a little bit of potential, but nah. I think that if Reptile doen't do it for that realm, we should be able to forget about it. At least for a while to come.

:: Kira -- I don't like her because of her introduction to Mortal Kombat. She's a knockoff on so many levels that if the clan goes to hell, she should ride that ship on down with the rest of them.

mm...Nightwolf is probably questionable, but I can't find a good enough reason not to keep him on other than he's a supporting character.

Nightwolf just went to hell over binding Onaga, so I think it might be interesting to see whether or not he wants to retire, or if he starts acting weird because of that trip. "Evil Shammen", plants and animals and all that. Plus, he's a different type of sorcerer, and they could do so much more with that then they have. If they get rid of Nightwolf completely though, I'd love to see Siang from the MK comics pop up as a succession to him. Totally different character altogether.

Beyond that, everyone else looks good to come back for whatever reason.

I think that Shao Kahn does need to be killed off and also Shujinko he kind of sucked in a way cause you had to find all of his moves and fatalities. Also they can kill of is Johnny Cage cause I've heard some where that he went to the video game Bloodstorm but I could be wrong.

Kill every new character from MK4, Deception, and Armageddon. Not one new character was good. Kenshi and Bo Rai Cho where decent. I also hope Onaga and Shao Khan are killed because, I'm sick of them and I want a new villain.

You forgot Jade. She served Kahn alongside Kitana and Mileena. Also, Kano joined Kahn himself. He didn't volunteer the Black Dragon clan, and even if he did, Kira and Kobra weren't part of the clan then. They joined Kabal's version of the Black Dragon. And Hsu Hao is Red Dragon. And finally, neither Quan Chi nor Tanya have ever served Shao Kahn.

Not trying to impress but, thanks for making me go back and re-look at what I wrote. Should be pretty much spot on now that the edits are made.

I like the idea of the soul pledge killing all those bound to Shao Kahn, including Kitana, Sindel and Jade. It could create a power vacuum in Edenia, in which we see a Mortal Kombat Tournament to decide which power gets to govern the realm.

I'm also a big fan of Mortal Kombat branching out and doing some spin-off games that focus more on good gameplay and stronger stories than any of the ones we have seen so far. A story featuring Kitana, Sindel and Jade in the afterlife, where you get to switch between the characters as they try and prevent a corruption of The Heavens, or something, could be very cool.

remove everyone added after MK4 with exeption of kenshi(cuz kenshi rocks and we need somebody to pressure that super Shang Tsung) and moloch(cuz he's cool) and onaga(with outworld being split, he and shang tsung split). and Quan Chi(hes cool)

This day n age mk games r online, there 4 we want more than jus 22 chars an stages. Mostly all older mk char returned so ppl wont get pissed, plus the chars i dropped were 4 ever unless noted future return next to their name.tried 2 post messeges together SORRY PREDATOR .

agin, there are so many great older mk characters mixed with the great newer mk chars 4 balance, so ppl wont miss the dropped chars. The char ppl use 2 talk crap about returned with a vengeance, as well as ppl talked crap about mk, so its returnin with a vengeance. With the technology we hav dont tell me all this is not possible, if tekken can hav a roster of over 40 so can mk. But out of the 42 chars here, when the game is first released it will only hav 30 chars so they hav enough time to balance everthing perfectly , once games out 4 a while the 12 downloadable chars will complete the list to 42 total. ACTUALLY 1 extra space 4 create a char, better then tekkens version so the total spaces is 43 total. Online- this time more then the 2 ppl fightin can watch the fight til their turn is next like tekken online an like arcades use 2b. Iknow in mk chars get finished but lets change the storyline so that chars 4 now on jus go away an not die, save the deaths 4 the gamepla fatalities only.(GAMEPLAY)

All them with the exception of Kenshi could easily be considered characters that could live / be around generations after the current storyline. Personally, I think the next story should focus on the whole Sub-zero / Scorpion / Noob Saibot saga.

Noob Saibot has to be the most misused character in franchise. I mean the guy is basically the most BAD ASS character in the series, and he's always put in jobber / midcard / brushed under the rug status.

They could do so much with him being Scorpions original killer / Sub Zero's brother. And for crying out loud giving him an updated design. What happend to his grim reaper hood ? Give him a hood so you can't see his face, with a long sleeveless trench coat, and the bondage raps on his arm.

AND GIVE HIM BACK HIS FUCKING SCYTH !!!!!!! Such a waste of a character that has so much potential. Bring back Reptile's hybrid human look from MK 4, but with out the purple pants ....... bring back Shao Khan as a normal playable villain and coat the bone spikes and mask in chrome ..... do the same by making Onaga a normal playable villan, but give him a pre-reptile fusion look where he is more human looking. Finally get a new bad ass boss and sub boss character.

I wish they would just start fresh for a change. Can MK make a comeback with new characters just as good as the most popular ones we know now? That's what I thought. ^_^

Were you here for the whole "CHAMELEON IS IN ARMAGEDDON BUT NOT KHAMELEON?!!?!?!" Rage? Eventually some people started calling "Chameleon" Mimik for some reason. While it is a better name for him its still not his official one.

Pretty much. I refuse to call him by that name because it's fucking dumb to have two different character with the same name and we already have Khameleon.

Personally, I still think "Fuckface" suits him better...but, people were getting offended by it; so I stick to Mimik.
