The helmet of them also seems like a snake, and their skin is painted red and blue.

I'm not so sure that's actually the case. All of the characters shown in the tower are like statues or engraving, they're kind of coloured like stone.

As Sockie said, statues or engravings of the characters. If that is so, watch it possibly be Fujin with a different design then in the comic.

The coloration on the towers is dim and off; for a second in that video I saw Scorpion and he looked so red I thought it was a very ninjaesque Ermac alt.

Remember that in the bow image tease, the fingers holding the bow are clearly ordinary flesh-toned. So unless this dude switches skin colors for alt costumes I think I'd call his greenish tint a trick of the light.

To be fair, nobody here really knows anything at this point. It's all speculation, even from seasoned players and veteran forum members.

I could personally do without some of the snark some have used and people talking in absolutes and certainties is also a little annoying, but I try to chalk it up to people being excited (and to a lesser extent correct in their assumptions).

Not much to say about bow character... waiting for more details to be dropped from Netherrealm about him.

Bottom character definitely looks like an aged Jax to me. He seems to be sporting a jacket? Not sure what to make of the circular object in the middle of his chest. I think we have enough cybernetic hearts already. Maybe just a logo on his shirt? Hopefully not MKDA style bling.

Agree, I'm kind of on the fence now the more I look at it. The circle in the middle of his chest resembles the Special Forces logo, though too blurry to be sure.
