There we go; just what I was hoping for. I think the hood is a bit of an overkill. I would rather see loose, tattered wraps around his head, revealing his undead, reanimated flesh. Looks like a leprosy victim--love it!

You can see some visual differences between TAKEDAS version at 1:32 and 1:33 A mask on and off depending on the variation. That blue/orange pattern its AWESOME. Just love this trailer, love the whole game. Waiting for Kenshi to be announced and die in pure pleasure

THINK ABOUT THIS

Kitana supposedly gets freed from Quan Chi's grasp at the end of the Netherrealm War, which is the first arc of the story out of the supposed three. Cassie was like a toddler back then.


REMINDER:

In the OT, Mileena gets killed by Kitana during the events of MK2. The reason she's around in UMK3 is because she becomes Shinnok's servant.


We do know that the Outworld Civil War is the second story arc, and it looks like Amulet-powered Mileena is gonna be the boss of that. If the Amulet has a literal Elder God trapped inside of it, then Mileena is obviously way over her had and is fucking with powers way beyond her understanding.

My guess is that it gets her killed.


This mystery person has to be Mileena. Maybe Jade, but that's a stretch.


She goes to the Netherrealm and becomes a revenant, alongside Sindel, who I'm assuming was one of the unlucky few who wasn't released from Quan Chi's grasp at the end of the Netherrealm War.

This implies that Quan Chi is still very much active during the third arc and might even be the one running things down in the Netherrealm now that Shinnok is out of the picture.


Based on concept art shown on Kombat Kast #3, she is Kitana!

That depends on whether the scene in the trailer takes place during Kotal's original coup or after the events shown in the comic, when Mileena presumably comes back and tries to reclaim the throne.
