So I think a second pack is likely.
Rain will definitely be in it.
I'm guessing 2 other returning and either 1 new or guest.

I think Frosts tiny cameo was a way to set her up for MK11.

I'm in line with this. Those characters are the ones that seem to stick out. The others seem like plot devices... There to die to make room for other new ideas, or strong contenders to be alot more relevant in the next MK. Also, is Raiden's MK1 skin confimed? I haven't seen it and I want it.

I gotta tell ya, as much as I want EVERY character, and think all the story mode NPCs should have been playable from the get-go...

I'd be very disappointed if pack 2 was nothing but characters we've already seen.

I want a surprise return for Shang Tsung, or Havik, or Cyrax or something. I can't tell you how pleased I was to see just the small surprise cameos of Noob and Khameleon in the mobile game. I want THAT in the pack 2 roster. Not just a parade of characters I've already been looking at for 3 months made playable.

But again, not that I wouldn't ultimately want them all anyway...

Oh, and keep the damn guests at home this time please...

WB and NRS know that they've got us Li Mei, Fujin, Sareena, etc. fans by the fucking balls with these appetite whetting cameos and playing coy with possible DLC inclusion.

I would be lying if I didn't say I was thrilled beyond measure to see Sareena in the Story Mode, and looking a helluva lot better than she did in Armageddon.

Would anybody be happy if corrupted Shinnok was DLC so we could do his awesome fatalities ? I myself would be so excited to play as him since we get to play as his wizard form I think it would be amazing to play as his full demon form.

Ok it's not like NRS just grabbed an outfit from Sub Zero's closet and had Frost put it on. THEY HAD TO BUILD A MODEL OF HER WITH THAT DESIGN!!! Which means they deliberately put her in an outfit that is very distinctly different from her previous looks. Have you considered that in the Lin Kuei that style of outfit could be a Lin Kuei uniform for cryomancers?

It was another example of NRS redesigning a female character to be less slutty. And for the record, faces are not programmed, they are modeled. Programmers work with code, modelers and artists work with the visual elements.

I honestly expect to see Li Mei, Rain and Fujin as DLC and probably in MK11. I also expect to see Bo Rai Cho and possibly Shujinko in MK11 Since several endings have hinted to MKD-MKA era things. Shang Tsung will likely return and I wouldn't be surprised if we see the Dragon King again since stopping Armageddon had no bearing on him.

I want Fujin so bad....

Rain would also be an excellent choice
As would Reiko/Havik.
