Better is the question what i love in the mk game and in what for a mk game and so i have to say that i love mk at the beginning from the first mk game then it was the first fighting game which are different from the others a i look back to the time where the creators of mk use real people for fighter details and so on mk2 and 3 first at the part 4 was computer animated characters used. But my real favorite mk game is mk2. Here in germany was it only two weeks for sale then the justice taked it from the marketplace and it was a crime when you own it after then. This was the first really bloody mk game that i ́ve seen with cool fatalities and great stage fatalities! MK1 was allready changed for germany: no blood other fatalities and later taken from marketing too. Same with mk3. The snes version was strong cut. Very less blood in the fight and less blood and bones by the fatalities. Other as the mk3 game for the ps1 than that was full uncut like the original arcade game.
Back to mk2 and this is a reason why i like mksm than it ́s a great mk2 adventure game with original levels and characters out of mk2 and i ́ve seen before at mk deception that mk goes back to the roots with better and much bloody fatalities. I like mkd so much more as deadly alliance but mk2 and mksm are two games which stands in agreat time based range but have so many together. Only in the xbox import version of mksm you can unlock the original mk2 game. I love mk2 and i must say as i played mksm the first time i felt where i ́ve played mk2 the first time and that was for a very long time. I ́ve mk2 on the snes and i ́ve import versions of midway arcade treasures pt 2 with mk2 and 3 for ps2 and extendet play with 1 2 and 3 but i can play mk2 on the xbox over mksm...

I like the music. It ROX. And Chameleon, Ermac, Havik, Drahmin, Jade, Nightwolf, Liu Kang and Kung Lao.

The story, the atmosphere, the grittyness (not necessarily the gore)
