i got the impression that those characters would be playable at CC but new 'unplayable at CC characters' would be announced.

I Just finished watching this aswell. And I am VERY FRIGGIN upset with this as Boon knows very well that we were already aware of these characters and still promised this.

FYI: Shang Tsung and Catwoman were already shown in gameplay during the GTTV preview.

Did anybody else see that Glitch with scorpions spear? and the difficulty with fatalities as with BOTH attemps with Scorpion and Superman, not one was pulled off successfully.

Regardless, the game looks amazing and I cannot wait.

As I said before and I'll say it again, this interview revealed nothing. Everything that we've known already, has been mentioned and there was nothing new featured at all in that interview.

Although, how does everyone feel about the Flash and his kick ass fighting moves? Those were... pretty intense moves he got there as well as Scorpion and Sub... not so much of Superman's though.

But still, this interview that everyone was so hyped up on... seemed like nothing new that was stated.

Not worried about the little glitch, early builds have lots of them. But not a big deal.

The fatalities lol, chances are they forgot them or rushed them if you noticed ha, ha. Reminds me of Oldschool MK's when you had little time to excute hehe. I like that.

Despite who's shown in gameplay, it'll be fun.

I saw the G4 interivew, too... Gamespot's coverage kicked their ass, and Gamespot's was just plain good, nothing exceptional.

If you ask me, they need to get the fuck off this Freefall and Klose Kombat. I think they're great additions to spice up the gameplay, but enough!!! This is what I hate about the early info leak from games, 99% of the time they only talk about ask about stuff that we've already heard repeatedly since the announcement. Every interview and coverage centers around these two modes for too long, leaving no time for new things we haven't seen yet, save one or two new moves from the characters.

As for the 4 characters at Comic-con, I really don't think it's Shang, Liu, Cat, and Marvel. Remember the 2nd MKast said that the characters revealed there would have a big impact on the community? These 4 wouldn't have a big impact, they'd just piss people off. Just take a deep breath, everyone, we're gonna get new characters soon.

Ed was asked "is there anything you can reveal now?" And he tried to say "Well we'll have four new characters at Comic-con" and the interviewer said "No what about NOW?" And THAT is when Ed mentioned Catwoman, Shang, Liu, and Captain Marvel.

So NO, those won't be the new characters whose names are revealed at Comic-con.

I absolutely love kevin's mouth, it almost got us a reveal of a character or 2. He asked boon what we all would have at some point.. "WHO ELSE?!" dont act like your not wondering.

Kevin said the exact things I would have if I were in his position. hes the man. We better get at least 2 new chars by comic-con announced.

We should get more characters announced. We got so many right now, it would be stupid not to introduce us at least one MK character and another DC character... I'm waiting for Manhunter to be revealed... I think he's the best DC character ever!

Did you watch the Justice League cartoon on Cartoonnetwork long before it was turned into JL Unlimited? He was a total baddass on that show (So was Hawkgirl) But still, I'm waiting for this guy. And if he's not in this game somehow, I'll cry.... no, J/k, though would probably be a little disappointed to wait for a character that won't be in the game... like I said, what a hyped up disappointment.

I prefer the female Manhunter, Kate Spencer.

After seeing these gameplay videos and mr. Garcia ripping through the combos much like I will. I am not concerned about the gameplay the least bit, aswell as the fact of no mini-games re-assures me that the team is dedicated to the fighting mechanic and this game is going to kick ass.

Now, the ONLY thing we need to worry about is what characters we want as it is very apparent that the team has put our best gameplay experience as MK fans in their sight.

From what the fanbase here at MKO is discussing, I feel that the characters MOST wanted by the fans are(in no particular order)

-reptile
-raiden
-johny cage
-green lanturn
-darksied
-V (only published once by dc, unlikely)
-the joker
-martian manhunter
-quan chi

I feel in terms of iconic characters, the cyborgs in MK3 were insanely popular and i would personally love, being a dark themes game, for Sektor to be included, and yes, I am a friggin fanboy of him as much of MKO knows.

regardless, there is more than enough room for ALL of these characters, or pretty close to it. I would like to know if they have already decided on the roster or is it still up in the air? thats the one question I would ask Boon at this point, as well as alternate costumes for MK cahrs as the DC chars' image cant be changed that easily due to DC comics freaking.

Characters are our only concern now, and online play. I would prefer NO online play personally.

Thats harldy stupid considering I was not aware of it being announced. Its a simple lack of information to which my comment was completely backed up.

IMO, MKDA was graphically better than any other, darker and more gritty. Less cartoonish than MKD or MKA, in my head, the biggest difference was the absense of online play. Now could online play make it harder to run massively detailed images (at least from that time) online at a good framerate with connection? your damn right it could.

So the simple conclusion that my mind had conjured up based on my own observations, is that the game is better off being offline to allow better framerate and detail.

But to be fair, i aslo recognize the fact that these next gen systems are more than capable of handling this, shoot me and call me paranoid, I want a good game. If that is stupid, then wanting a better game overall is stupid.

I see what you're saying man, but offline or online play have nothing to do with the games graphics.

This game easily is the darkest looking out of all 3D MK games as far as I'm concerned. Backgrounds, sky, character models, colors etc

Agreed. this game is the darkest. And forgive my ignorance of the online evaluation.

I just want this game to be the best experience, online doesnt matter to me personally as I have TONS of friends I play against, kind of my own local online system. theres just too many cord pulling losers that I know will carry over.

Some would say the game experience I talk of includes online play. This is not what I mean, I am talking about fluent battle with a well balanced game experience in general, online experience is not what I intend on exploring much more than here and there.
