I agree. This is a one time thing and it is an MK game first and foremost. DC should allow their characters partake in the gore and severe violence. It's only fair to follow the standards of the series.

It's general good manners for the host to accommodate the guest.

Listen honestly, Midway and DC both have a "mutual agreement" on certain things allowed and not-allowed out of respect for both franchises some people need to get over this shit already IMO.

The games looking great, so who the hell cares already?

That's how I see it....

For the sake of all those who continue to complain:

I have reason to believe that the MK team is creating a "back up" game to be released in 2009.

This is so, because even though many people are psyched about MK vs DC, there are still high odds that the game will fail world wide. Therefore, a "back up" game would be made and stored, just in case.

The game will continue immediately after MKArmageddon, and will feature the same characters from MK vs DC, a few more old ones, and a few new ones.

The game's story will most likely have the same concept as MK vs DC, only reffering to the destruction of Blaze.

The game's graphics, fighting engine, and features will be exact to MK vs DC, for both games will be made at the same time.

A new feature, one orginally meant for MK vs DC, will be in the "back up" game. This feature will be used to win back the former fans.

Blood and gore will return, as well as fatilties and brutalities. This will also be used to win back the former fans.

Well, this is my theory. You can either take it and run with it, or just shut-up and put up with what you don't like about MK vs DC.

If you're going to insult someone's intelligence, at least make an effort to be a little clever with it.

Your post consisted of two giant walls of text, it's a strain on the eyes to read that crap. Fix it and maybe I'll dignify it with a proper response.

Isn't this whining/ranting? Doesn't it belong in the "Official Rant Thread"? Judging by the number of closed threads on page one of the MK vs DC forums, yes, yes it does. I don't like it, either, but you can't post specific threads anymore: everything must go in a broad, all-encompassing thread.

Deal

(And a "T" rating makes good sense for DC AND Midway, as it will allow more units to move, thus [hopefully] increasing profit. The only people in the world that don't seem to understand economics are MK fans... and US citizens... and socialist governments... and Canadains that wanted free health care... ok, nvm...)

And yeah, it IS hilarious that the underaged who can't normally buy an MK game are the biggest whiners, but there's modern parenting at work for ya. For the record, I'd prefer an "M" rating, but I'm not going to cry about it when I know they're making the right business move.

i didn't wrote "crap" and if you dont want to read it..just don't do it.
you have judged my post without even reading it,and i'm osrry, but juding without know is ignorance.
ignorance,if persisted,is lack of intelligence...or laziness.

again:my preivous comment was fully readable, and even if with some grammar mistakes,it was also understandable.

Complaining that a Mortal Kombat game doesn't have oodles of blood and gore? I didn't realize it was 1993 again.

Yea, I prefer the M rating too. (/understatement)

And no you don't know that. Not one FAN does...

Um...I need to close this thread, but feel free to reply in the "broad, all-encompassing" rant thread.

As well, I, a MK fan, will be happy to talk about economics, and how ridiculous it is to henge the buy of a video game on a franchises projected marketing net cast.

No, I'm not "aiming at you", but I felt like addressing this point that keeps coming up, and you carry the trait so...there ya have it.
