I'm happy with everyone so far,
I'm assuming wonder woman will be in it, cuz if shes not, I'll be unhappy, but everyone else seems to fit

No the MK side is weak and boring. All the buzz is about the DC fighters

im content with it so far, but yeah wonder woman has to be in it. i think they should include a female villain from mk. hopefully mileena.

I agree. I've been waiting forever for Captain Marvel to be a controllable character in a video game. I think part of the difference is comic book characters started on paper and it's enjoyable to be able to see their powers in a more realistic 2D/3D format such as a video game.

Funny, this is Cpt Marvel's FIRST official VG appearance. The first EVER was in the Superman game where Player 2 what red with a white cape.

Even funnier was the fact that player 2 still had a "S" on their chest instead of the lightning bolt.

I'm happy with the MK side.

The DC side is bullshit. Captain Marvel is just Superman with a vaccine against magic, the Flash can't do anything but run really fast and get behind you and pull off like 10 hit combos, so that sounds a bit unbalanced. Superman is probably going to be way overpowered, and can Green Lantern even fight? The only characters that make sense are Batman and Catwoman. Hell even Joker's a better pick than most of the DC roster so far.

Hal Jordan was in the military, he can fight. Captain Marvel is a magical Superman I'll agree, Superman was an obvious MUST, and Joker WAS a bit awkward, but we ALL wanted him

My view is still the same on the other characters.

Scorpion- Obvious.

Sub-Zero- Obvious.

Sonya Blade- Knew she was getting in, but I don't care for her.

Shang Tsung- Expected. Never really into Tsung, though he does look cool in this.

Liu Kang- Sucks, but I expected he'd get in.

Kitana- Awesome.

Jax- Sucks, but I'm not surprised he's in.

Superman- Obvious.

Batman- Obvious, but I like him.

The Flash- He's okay.

Catwoman- She's okay.

Captain Marvel- Meh.

The Joker- He's cool.

Green Lantern- He's okay.


I'm fairly indifferent to the majority of the cast except Kitana and the Joker. All I really need now is Wonder Woman.

I don't see why people dislike JAX. People say he's sonyas sidekick, but correct me if im wrong but it's Major Jackson Briggs and Lieutenant Sonya Blade. That means JAX is Sonya's superior.

What makes Jax so unlikeable i don't get it. As far as iconic, yes he's iconic. Ermac, noob, and kabal are NOT iconic. I can guarantee you that casual gamers don't know these characters so I don't see why boon would put those characters in. I bet the final three characters will be Raiden, Reptile, and johhny cage give or take.

well.. here are my opinions on everyone

scorpion - my favorite character. glad to have him back

sub zero - not my favorite.. but close. definately happy to see him again (and forever, aparently)

batman - my favorite hero on dc or marvel. Other than batman and robin, i've had no problem with any movies he's been in.. and there've been some great comics too. definately the most interesting and awesome dc character

superman - eh.. I know superman's really a huge character and shit.. and it was kind of obvious that he was gonna be in.. but he just kind of feels like a boring character to me

sonya - best chick character in any mk game. there was NO WAY i'd get this game without her.

flash - pretty cool.. and it'll be fun to play as him

shang tsung - well.. he was the first boss in the first mk game.. and he was awesome. He deserved to be in

catwoman - very awesome

shazam - can't say I know who this is. at least.. not very well.

liu - well.. he's mk champion. shame on anyone who doesn't like him. I know he's a total bruce lee rip off.. but doesn't just about all fighting games have one?

kitana - she's not a bad character.. but not my favorite

jax - I'm glad he's in it, because he's prety awesome. (yeah.. you heard right)

the joker - best dc villain. totally awesome. going to play as him all the time

green lantern - whatever

Scorpion - Had to be in it. No opinion on him really.

Sub-Zero - Same as Scorpion

Shang Tsung - I love Shang Tsung, I think he's a great, iconic character and I'm glad he's back.

Liu Kang - Same as Scorpion or Sub-Zero. He's the MK Champ. He may not be my favourite but he's still iconic.

Kitana - Lost her appeal years ago. Maybe this game can inject some life into her but considering it's not canon and she's got a horrible design, I'm not holding my breath.

Jax - Big mistake

DC Characters - Couldn't give two fucks about them.

I want Mileena.

Scorpion - Can't have a decent MK game without him.

Sub-Zero - see scorpion

Sonya- It doesn't bother me that shes in but i'm not exited about her

Shang Tsung - same as sonya

Liu Kang - just glad he's not zombie. and guys, i love the belt.

Jax - Pretty Happy he's in

Kitana - yes! I like her way better then sonya.

Superman - same as Shang Tsung and Sonya

Batman - pretty happy he's in, but its a given

The Flash - gonna be fun to play as him

Catwoman - don't really like the costume

Shazam - come on!? so many better characters. how will they make him different from Superman?

The Joker - the costume made me change my mind. before i didn't want him in

jax-i don't see how johnny cage has more fans than him. they seem equally useless to me. i think they should have the same amount lol. i'm glad he's in, when they mentioned iconic characters he was one of the first to pop in my mind. i see sonya as his side kick and it would be odd to have one and not the other.

batman-duh, i'm glad he's in. he's on of DCs best martial artist so he's more the formidable. plus he's just a cool character. i just wish his batsuit was darker.

kitana-another duh, i don't see how anyone could doubt her being in this game. even if it can be debated i think she's the MK female lead. not as nostalgic as sonya but i think she's a big more iconic to the non MK fan.

catwoman-i was shocked, but i'm a catwoman fan. if it wasn't based off the comics i'd love for it to have been eartha kitt i think i was shocked because i think she'll be a villan and she's more of an anti-hero...maybe even an anti-villan...

liu kang-i pretty much knew but was hoping against it. when he was confirmed i wasn't shocked considering he was the hero all the way up to MKDA and even than they couldn't keep him out the game. i would've rather had kung lao.

the flash- no one that's a main member of the justice league suprises me. they couldn't have this game without him.

green lantern-another duh if you're a comics fan. the GL Corps. is important, there were three different GLs in the Justice League Heroes games. i'm interested to see how much he relies on his ring though...cause it should be a whole lot.

shang tsung-in my opinion MKs most recognizable villan. and really the only one i like so i was happy. i didn't doubt his inclusion becasue well him and liu kang are like the superman and darkseid of MK.

the joker-i was half shocked because he can't fight all the time. so i'm interesed. as for as being iconic goes, no doubt but he probably shouldn't be fighting anyone.

sonya-the chun-li of MK if you will. you can't get more nostalgic than her, i just hope she does something important this time to make her more interesting.

captain marvel-i was shocked. i thought for sure they'd leave him out. if only because i don't think most people know him. i'm kind of sick of people saying he's just like superman. the real only similarity is the super strength. outside of that they're really completely different characters.

basically i couldn't be happier with the roster, the only thing i actually have a problem with is liu kang. i kind of wish this game took place in the time where he was dead but before everybody else died.

the MK side is typical, no fan should complain because if three new MKDA-MKD characters were in they'd be shitting bricks.

i'm kind of dissapointed in the DC side though, with only three or four speculative slots left one of them most assuredly going to wonder woman i wonder who the DC will have next. because they really technically only have one villan. and i still want martian manhunter.

Having Johnny Cage in will be a mistake, I'm happy Jax is in.

Scorpion - Always a favorite.

Sub-Zero - Always a close second.

Sonya - Glad they changed her appearance; it's not MK without her.

Shang Tsung - Not too thrilled about him. He's a major baddie though, so of course he's got to be in.

Liu Kang - One of the lamest characters in MK, but he's been force-fed to us as the main hero for so long, so what did you expect?

Kitana - She's cool, but not complete without Mileena also being in.

Jax - Awesome, but I hope they bring him back to his character roots as a soldier and a warrior, and not the stock character that he's been made into as of late.

Characters who really should be in:

Raiden - He's MK's original posterboy for crying out loud! I knowthey're messing with us by not announcing him yet, I KNOW they are. He's as obvious as Wonder Woman; if Raiden doesn't make it into this game, the folks at Midway will have to bar their doors to hold out the mob of wrathful fans and their torches.

Reptile - I don't really like him that much at all, but appearently a lot of people do, so they might as well have him.

Mileena - Like someone else said, the evil female from the MK side. She's the Yin to Kitana's Yang.

Shao Kahn - In some way, shape or form, PLEASE!

Johnny Cage - Same reason as Reptile (though I do like him a little).

Characters I definately do NOT want to see in this game (though I'm quite sure I need not worry): THE NOOB - Biggest waste of roster space in any MK game.

i'm satisfied.

I'm not satisfied on the MK side. With some of the characters I am, but overall i'm not satisfied with their choices.

I'm disappointed with the limited size of the roster really. 20-22 characters doesn't really seem "enough" when you consider there are only 10/11 slots for each roster.

Plus it does seem everyone will be disappointed with certain characters appearing and not their favourites.

The only one, I'm a bit concerned about is Jax really. If this is MK:DA Jax with the overly deep cliched voice and attitude, then it will be a waste of a slot. If this is the MK2/3/4 Jax then all is well.

I'll think I'll be sad if either Goro or Baraka don't appear.

I do think there is a huge buzz for the DC side because DC haven't really ventured into the world of video games, as much as Marvel have, anyway.

Minus the 3 remaining mystery characters, I am not satisfied with the MK side.

We need a Quan Chi, a Sektor, or maybe even a Cyrax. Something badass.
