Okay, as far as I know... I believe there have been five batgirls and six green lanterns... correct me if I'm wrong...
anyway, who do u think should be "the" Batgirl and "the" Green Lantern?

BATGIRL:
- Helena Bertinelli
- Cassandra Cain
- Charlotte Gage-Radcliff
- Barbara Gordon
- Bette Kain
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GREEN LANTERN:
- Guy Gardner
- Jennie-Lynn "Jade" Hayden
- Hal Jordan
- Kyle Rayner
- Alan Scott
- John Stewart
- Kilowig
- Wow, there's too many to list... way too many...

For me, I would say Cassandra be Batgirl because she just seems darker... I don't know...
But for Green Lantern, I would say John Stewart because I've seen him the most... but I would say Jennie because of her parallel with Jade... Green... female... "Jade"... but then I don't know... there could be other parallels among the several thousand other Green Lanterns, that we don't know about, with the MK characters.

Well, if I had to have a Batgirl I'd pick Barbara Gordon but...well, she's a paraplegic now so...maybe they can explain it away or something.

If Batgirl were to be included, I'd choose Cassandra Cain. Barbara Gordan didn't really become good until she became Oracle. And if Helena Bertinelli is included, she should be the Huntress.

I don't really follow Green Lantern, so I have no preference. But I guess I'd go with Hal Jorden. I think it'll end up being John Stewart, though.

uhhhh I would say Batgirl should be.... Batgirl?

I know nothing about DC Universe. Are we talking about actors and voice acting/movies/videogames or actual characters in the comics?

Actual characters. There's not just one Batgirl or one Green Latern or a lot of different superhero personas really. Some die, some retire, etc.

There have been multiple Batgirls.

The first Batgirl was Barbara Gordan, until she was crippled by the Joker. Helena Bertinelli...who is normally the Huntress...was Batgirl very briefly, until Batman fired her. The current Batgirl is Cassandra Cain, a former assassin.

And there are several Green Lanterns. They guard different sectors of the universe as part of the Green Lantern Corp.

There are currently 7200 Green Lanterns traversing the 3600 sectors, not counting that Earth has 4 GLs not 2, 5, if you count the elderly, yet pimptastic, magic ring powered Alan Scott. Hal Jordan (hot shot Air Force pilot/Batman puncher) is both the current Green Lantern in the main title and the first Green Lantern of the current style. John Stewart (Archetect and recently reconed Marine) "Shares" the title, but gets little showing, but he's in Justice League of America right now, and will be in the movie. Guy Gardner (Fratboy of Green Lanterns) and Kyle Rayner (artist/most imaginative) share the Green Lantern Corps title as Honor Guard Lanters. I'd go with Hal Jordan, the classic, yet renewed image of Green Lantern.

I'd say definitely Barbara Gordon for Batgirl. I always liked her.

For Green Lantern, Jon Stewart. No, not the political pundent, the Green Lantern.

Personally, I like Barbara Gordon better, because she's the Batgirl I grew up with, but I think Cassandra Cain fits the tone of this game much much better than she does. Personally I'd like to see them both, but with only 20 characters, I doubt we'll get more than one, if that. (Because the roster will probably be Batman heavy as it is. Batman, Robin, Joker & Catwoman are all higher on the list than she is, in my opinion, but she might make it in.)

Green Lantern, I know very little about, so I can't make a very good call on him, but I'm inclined to say Hal Jordan or Jon Stewart, just because they're the two I've heard of the most. (I mean heck, I recognize them, and I'm someone who knows next to nothing about Green Lantern... beyond his basic powers and what I've just said.)

Barbara Gordon and a toss up between John Stewart and Hal Jordan.

Although I doubt Batgirl will be in the game.

so... Batgirl is mostly between Cassandra and Barbara so far...
and Lantern between Hal Jordan and John Stewart...
if they are included in the roster (Batgirl and Lantern)... It'd be nice if they had Batgirl and Lantern be one of the certain characters... with the alt costumes being another...

If Batgirl would have a chance of being in the game, I'd definitely pick Cassandra Cain. Her look and personality fit MK a lot better, and she simply kicks way more ass than Barbara Gordon.

For Green Lantern, I'd prefer Kyle Rayner. But Hal Jordan is undoubtly more iconic. Though John Stewart might have some chances as well, thanks to the JLU exposure.

i dunno her name, but the one with the red hair seemed cool,

I think it was barbara,
though I have seen the cassandra one in a comic once, and she did seem good as well

Id really like to see batgirl in the game actually

I think the big seven/cartoon seven are probably pretty good chances.
I'd expected John Stewart, just for the exposure of the cartoon, but wouldn't be surprised to see Jordan or Rayner.

More than one Bat is probably unnecessary, but if you were going to have a Batgirl, I'd go Cassandra Cain. The more martial arts chops characters have, the better.

Never really cared about Batgirl. So pick whoever there...

But I'd want John Stewart for Green Lantern. No mask, green eyes..ect
(fav DC character anyway. Love the Power // Flaw balance in his character)

Gotta go with Kyle Rayner on this one. Hal's story has been so messed up with Zero Hour and the aftermath.

Kyle has the most powerful of all the rings anyway - I mean, he's been a god basically twice when he was Ion. If it isn't Kyle, then John. They never should have brought back Hal.

Don't care about Batgirl so much.
