Hi guys.....maybe this is OLD for you....but i think that someone didn't know about this.....

about that you can buffer special moves!!!

what is "buffering"??? well.....it is about doing the special move input during another animation, and when this animation will end, the special move will immediatly start!

example.....if i choose Deathstroke and i perform 1, back+3 ( [], , /\ for ps3, ,Y for 360), when the kicks will end, immediatly Deathstroke will fire with his gun........or if i press down,down,O/B he will immediatly launch his Far Flash Bomb!

this is called Buffering......make the game register your inputs during other animations, to execute them immediatly and automatic after it!

you can also buffer a special move while holding your Block.....simply hold Block, then press the directions and when pressing the button, release the block at the same time

like for example about Deathstroke:

(Hold Block), back,forward,(release block), [] for ps3/X for 360

and he will immediatly fire his gun during block release animation......and the opponent will not see it very well because he didn't see your backward, forward steps but just a standing block

this Buffering is VERY VERY good and useful for linking special moves during combos, to execute some pro moves and to resolve some hard kombo challenges!

------

about the Pro Moves Trick.....well i found that the game will buffer in memory the previous pressed direction (even if it was part of the first part of a pro move) and add it to the second part of the pro move.

for example Deathstroke double gun shots Pro Move is:

back,forward,[] * forward,forward,/\ (for ps3)
back,forward,X * forward,forward,Y (for 360)

well....it isn't very simple to press forward,forward,/\ (for ps3) / Y (for 360) in the exact shot frame......BUT the game will buffer in memory the forward of the first (back, forward,[] for ps3/X for 360) gun shot, and so you only need to press forward,/\ (for ps3)/ Y for 360

like this:

back,forward,[] * forward, /\ (for ps3)
back,forward,X * forward, Y (for 360)

....and this will be incredibly better to perform.......i can just perform this pro move 99% of times just by slowly inputting forward, /\ for ps3/ Y for 360...

so remember the common directions between 2 different special moves or the 2 parts of a pro move, and you can share the same direction for an easier combo :)

sorry for my bad english ^_^

enjoy
Cool, I hadn't tried it with Pro moves, but I know you can buffer with more than one attack before the special comes out.

Like with Liu Kang's Bicycle kick.

Do 1, 1, b+3, b+3, f+4

Or

1, b+1, b+2, f+4

Do them at normal dial combo speed.
yeah this buffering thing is very good in mk vs dc (damn namco...they took it out in sc4 from sc3 -_-' )......it helps a lot with pro moves, combo challenge and custom combos :D

also a stupid things that probably everyone already found.......did you know that for special moves that involve down, forward or down, backward movement, you can simply press the diagonal to perform it?

like for example Scorpion's Teleport Uppercut is down, backward, 2.......you can simply press down/back diagonal, 2 and perform it because mk vs dc will read the diagonal as "down, then back" :D

Yea, i fount out about the diagonal thing after playing a few times. It can really make some things easier but i find myself doing both on a lot of occasions.

Cool post, yeah this MK is easily the most difficult in terms of combos, buffering moves and the pro moves are irritating at times(depending on character)

Good tip.

Hey, speaking of which have you guys tried the kombo challenge yet? God it's hard at times...very annoying I have to admit lol

Good to hear. I always expect MK to be broken, it's part of the legacy, lol. However, I'm reading / seeing that it's actually playable. Happy for that.

MKF, good to see you bro. You still working with clay modeling and what not?
The combos are harder, but It's getting more natural with practice. Pro moves are easier to pull off during juggles now, like second nature.

I like it

Does anyone know how to do Lui Kang's promove after the high fireball?

It's F, F 1 * F, F2
You have to do the Flying Kick right when the fireball connects.

If you do the pro move high up in the air. Do the fireball, right when the fireball hits, tap FF+2.

Liu Kang will automatically do the flying kick when he comes down to the ground after doing the fireball.

also try buffering it by tapping FF+1, then F+2 instead of FF+2.
