It's seems to me I'm the only adult here, and yes losing is part of the game, believe me I've lost more than I win and I'm still playing. The arguement here is the way people win, and I said GEEKS! not losers, and Bobby if thats all you have to be proud of, you must live a pretty meager lifestyle, and by the way at my age if told people I was in the top 3 online at Mortal I would be a laughing stalk. I knew there was another older dude or so here. Guy named "ElSloano64" is 43. Makes you two about...mmm...27-28 when the 1st Mk came out. No big damn deal right? I'm 25 now and my father (who introduced me to "the game", of many things, including Mk) would be juust a tad older than you now. He still plays video games and he owns houses and his own business and shit.. Age offline//online is about as important as a pond in the ocean...~nada~



So you're the Sareena dude eh? lol "Krogen" here I fought you for a while actually. And even though I did loose, I didn't have a "huge" problem with the knifes. They were pretty irritating at first, I won't lie but, I managed to force you out of the pattern. Somewhere in our matches you stopped using them for a while, and I don't think you noticed until your bar was more than half gone. But then of course, you doubled back to them until we stopped fighting each other. Something like 10 matches I think. Ended in a "GG" and some short jargen afterwards. "That was fun" or something to that effect.

Now, I don't use the regular roster....ever...(I hate how they play compared to the last couple games)...so I had my KaK as usual. I didn't play "cheap" or any other of that stupid shit....I just adapted. And since care-less about (sht, know less about) stats and all that, I just had fun.

haha...i had no idea so many people played that were on here...why not come to the xbox live forum? If your looking to improve there are several that would help you. The kak thing isnt legit though...i dont really have a problem with people picking their kaks but they get nothing but sareena.

1.I don't go over there cuz I don't have, or favor the Xbox. I like my Ps2 and I'll stick with that until I get the Wii and the Ps3. Also, I'm not exactly looking to "improve" anymore, I'm really quite comfortable with the way my Kak is for the majority.....I more desire to simply be able to compete. See what I mean by that? I'm not really interested in "becoming" anything online....so.....I more just want to be comfortable winning when I win, and loosing when I loose.......And that should happen because I know my character well enough, and am comfortable enough with him to adjust to any "type" of fighting style I encounter.

As it stands, I haven't yet completely figured out my way around//though//over the the abusers of:

1. Sareena
2. Kung Lao
3. Fujin
4. "Chicken Legger" KaK players.

But I'm getting there. I haven't really encountered another member of the roster I can't beat according to how you must use them. (might take me a while, but I always beat most of the regular roster.).
I might make small adjustments to him every now and then....Currently, I also have problems with characters that are built "for damage only"....cuz I like to fight for a while when I play. That type of player only wants to "win quickly". If you know what I'm saying.

I figured out these types of players so far:

1. "Super Fast"
2. "Short and Fast"
3. "Short"
4. "Master-Baiter" (ha!)
5. "Air"
6. "The dude that wants to play you low the whole game."
7. "The player that is absolutely against aerial game play"
8. "Super tall"
9. "Tall and Powerful"

And so on and so forth... The only "type" of player that I haven't a remedy for across the board, is the "Abuser". Like you.

See to me, the people who abuse one action, limit themselves..."somewhere". Which is part of the reason that I really do like to play you guys(I usually go to 10 or 20 matches with and "Abuser"). I like the puzzle in it. Heheh.. So then, when I exploit the fault, it changes you for everybody....LoL. Which is the other fun part for me within one system. I rub the spot then until you hit another grove....I only have to play enough "Abusers" then.

No matter what though, I never have any "hard feelings" about it. Really, it just equals fun for me cuz I don't get online often.

The shit I don't appreciate however, is the motherfuckers who know, and actually do execute the glitches in the game against me. I mean, come on. We all know that glitches plague the game. And on top of that, the life bar doesn't even respond to an excessive combo(for the most part), so just fight.

If you beat me because you are operating within the system and your "techniques" gets you wins..."I'll beat you next time".
If you beat me because animation cancels button response so I "can't" use my character for an excessive amount of time..."Fuck You". Hahaha. Yknow? I'll play somebody else then.

2. What's the deal with people hatin on the Kaks? I really don't see the difference unless the person is like, an abusive "chicken leg-er" or something. Which I kinda pride myself on Not being.

I don't have a whole bunch of "axe kicks", "chicken leg" moves, and shit on my KaKs move list. I did that on purpose so I could have a rounded character online, and so that others would have fun fighting me, win or loose....It's how I play offline when people come over with my other KaK.

But yea, please do explain why people don't like KaKs. I really am interested to have peoples input about them...

I think you and I could play for hours Bro, I'm kinda the same way. I like to mix it up, I like to play my Kak and swap it up back to the regular roster of characters and then back again and again etc... But I do love to use my Kak the most and I strive on using all the moves in my arsenal too. These glitches in the game kinda get on my nerves at times also, I don't know how players can launch my Kak into the air and keep him up there with a string of hits over and over. I'm a straight ahead player no bullshit, my biggest high is playing an equal advisary, thats alot fun for me guys, especially with the stresses with work and life and all, MKO is a good release for me. Hope to run into you guys soon.

Why? I get beat by the regular roster to this day, and they're not always "abusers" of one move like he is..(even that ain't that big a deal cuz it's just a matter of "how long will it take me to adapt to it". And it didn't take me that long to at least partially "figure out" when I played him, cuz like I said, I managed to force him out of the pattern eventually.....even though I lost the matches).

Tell me why it's not "fair". I figure, if you're good with your character, and I'm good with my character, it shouldn't matter at all. We're all playing within the same system. The only way I could see it being "unfair" right now is if someone is constantly exploiting "pockets" or "glitches" in the game. Like if you got a reg character, and I got my kak, and I corner you and say...uppercut you into an endless spin or something. Otherwise, i can't see "fair"//"unfair" as an issue.

Note: I have a rounded out Kak. Like I said, I'm not the guy that's gonna chicken leg or axe-kick you to death....I rather just....loose. (learn more)

Well, lets look at it from this perspective, I play at best once a week. Very rarely I will get two sessions in a week in. The reason I was excited about the game when it came out was for it's Kak ability, awesome I get to make my own character. Thing is a don't have all day, every day to play the game, so I try to spend as much time on all the characters as I possibly can. Well, guess what, it's not enough especially when I come up against seasoned players like yourself or Blaze or pig etc... So what do I do? Well I'll even out the fight, If I'm equal in ability with my Kak as my opponent is with a regular board character, what's the problem? If I am just as efficient at the regular characters as my opponent then I will use them. If you use the regular characters and take advantage of the games glitches, guess what you get my Kak, because in the end all I wan't is an even match nothing more or less, I even go as far as lowering my handy cap if my opponent is well below my skill level, do you? It's all about respect for your opponent. Some people on line get a huge kick at kicking their opponents ass over and over and over, boy that seems like alot of fun, doesn't it? Besides, who made up this so called rule about it is unethical so to speek, to use your Kak against a regular board character, come on man just have fun.

You should be able to tell inside of 2-3 matches if your opponent is of the same skill level as yourself, irregardless of who is using what characters against what characters. I will give anyone 3 wins in a row, kicking my ass wins that is before I call it quits, this is a way for myself to avoid uneeded frustrations.
