Can someone explain to me how the hell this works, because I dont fucking get it right now. I just hope it's not another half-ass gimmick. Freefall looks kinda of cool. I don't recall seeing it in a fighting game before. It makes things look dynamic.
But Klose Kombat. Wtf?

maybe it's when the people grab each other at the same time of.. something
I'm pretty unsure myself.. but it sounds like it could be cool.

My guess it will be that at one point during the match you will be able to attack your opponent with controls that are similar to Fight Night Round 3. You use the sticks to throw punches or kicks and then maybe after 5-10 seconds you go back to regular fighting

Yep, that's what I think. Just add kicks and stuff to FNR:3 and *boom*..
I question how you get into that mode though, Boon said you grab and pull your opponent in?
I'd be less weird if it was like, a consequence of a throw you reversed on your opponents attempt to throw you.....
That, or a consequence triggered by a parry or something...Those things logically put you right in close on your opponent and I could see THAT kind of thing triggering the mode seamlessly....
Yknow? something more practical than just "pulling them in close to you"...that sounds pretty silly as is.
Watch the Trailer again(33sec 34sec)
See how big they are? I think that's it.

I personally would like to see a LIMIT of how many times this can be done in a match. It would get really annoying if you could do it like ever 20 seconds. A consequence would be cool to. Maybe they could add in reversals like from the Dead Or Alive games where if you get nailed with a reversal you get pwned with a through or grapple move in return
